  1. 9.5/10. Probably the best heron of the bunch, amazing in the short endgame chapters. Everything else has been said.
  2. Only four maps pre endgame, but destroys everything at 1 range and never dies in those maps. Strong in endgame, doubling Lehran and auras naturally in a format where you likely won't have Nasir. 8/10
  3. Fiona: 1/10. In addition to being massively underleveled with terrible bases and having her usefulness insanely reduced by the maps she's available for, she eats resources that your main DB member probably wants. Tormod: 4/10. His shining moment is 1-8, especially if your DBer is Jill. Unfortunately, there are rumors he may have some availability issues...
  4. Damn it, I thought I was so clever, going through the first two pages and thinking of Battle Preparations... thanks for crushing my dreams. Easiest: Battle Preparations for making enemies entirely optional. Hardest: FE12 CH20 on Loony mode for being reinforcement hell. Honorable Mentions to H5 chapter 1 as well as everything in Thracia and FE12 Lunatic.
  5. Tauroneo Good bases in part 1, 1-2 range and that's about it. Availibility that almost makes the LEA's look good. He's strong in 1-6, but probably won't speed up your completion of those chapters by much. Needs a crown for 3-12. He's solid there. 3-13 he can 2-turn the map, but giving the boots to Tauroneo? Ewww. 4-2 is meh, those I guess he wouldn't actually be that slow if you gave him the boots for 3-13. 4-5 he's not helping a 1-2 turn. Endgame is poop. 4/10
  6. Draft is the only time where I would ever take Edward over Zihark. He's still got good bases and solid growths, but is weakened by the draft environment. He's got a tougher time making using of his affinity, and as I learned with Mia, wind edges suck for 2 range. His part 4 is fine but unimpressive. 8/10
  7. Also a 9.5/10, she gets axes, flies and is all around amazing in parts 3 and 4.
  8. Two valid points, though I think thani is actually pretty important. If nothing else, it allows her to break through an armor and the boss in 1-3, one round the armors in 1-6, and it helps to not have to give her a maxed out forge when Sothe is blowing through iron knife forges and you probably have another DB who also wants a forge. I could be wrong, but I can't imagine 5 turning 1-1 with just Eddy and Miccy without massive wrath abuse, and we can't really assume that for the same reason we are not assuming Micaiah has 20 speed by 1-8. Anyway, Volug. He's definitely one of those units who gets "worse" in drafts, though he is obviously still very good. I think his part 1 woes are exaggerated. 1-5 is a feeding ground for strike, while 1-7 and 1-E are seize chapters, where his 9 move helps a lot. I'm pretty sure he can handle the left side of 1-8 in four turns as long as he can one round the enemies, which will require the energy drop and/or S-strike. He's obviously excellent in 3-6 and 3-13 with an abundance of 1-range, while his only real pitfalls are 3-12 and part 4. Also makes excellent use of the energy drop/dracoshield. 8.5/10
  9. Yes, but an extra unit in 1-1 and 1-2 is still a big deal and can probably shave a turn in each. This is assuming you only get one of the two, which I believe is standard.
  10. Aran: I don't know about you guys, but I see one of Eddy and Nolan's big draws as being able to save turns in 1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4. Aran loses out on the first two, and is less capable of speeding up the second two, which is one strike against him. Later on in part 1 and part 3, he easily preforms at the same level as Nolan/Eddy/Zihark, but still has to deal with a painful speed growth. 7.5/10 Meg: Aran except much much worse. She has to deal with a lot of extra problems, namely poor bases, poor movement in 3-6 (and lower movement all around), a low starting level and a crippling T2 speed cap. Gets as high a score as she gets purely for being a DB unit. 3/10

    The worst pokemon

http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/unown Always good for a laugh. Also, at least Spinda can do something with contrary, assist and a team of pokemon with V-create, draco meteor, superpower, etc.
  12. Most: Suprised nobody mentioned Sigrun. Captain of the holy guard, level 19 promoted, and she gets those stats? Plus, 10% Defense and more insultingly 25% speed growths as a falcoknight of all things. Least: Haar. Epic bases.
  13. Missed Sothe, but everyone rated him how I would have anyway. For Ilyana, I'l say 7.5. Great availability, but you'll need another DBer for part 3. Probably wants a wing at some point, and would like the the bargains spirit dust, but she preforms well. She'll want resolve in part 4, but fortunately you'll have 2 by then. Mage speed caps suck as always...
  14. Well considering he said he had a 360, but a not a PC.... yeah. By underrated, I'm referring to the fact that when everyone, at least in my experience, discovers you have an Xbox, they instantly assume you're an FPS fan. Heaven forbid you enjoy the large amount of good single player games on the console. Also, it has Tales of Vesperia in english, which was enough to sell me, at least. Also, is there anything makes the PS3 version of FF13 better besides graphics? Obviously the PS3 version looks a bit better but it's not like you're really suffering playing it on Xbox.
  15. Awesome RPGs for the 360: Mass Effect 1 + 2 Dragon Age Origins Tales of Vesperia Skyrim And IMO FF13 was fantastic but you've already played it. Can't go wrong with any of those. Xbox 360 is seriously underrated as an RPG console.
  16. 4/10. Now, don't get me wrong, I like Laura, and I'll gladly use her, but she has serious flaws in draft. First off, she's not really contributing anything until you promote her besides healstaffing, something which is massively devalued in RD thanks to healing items, and this basically mandates a massive BEXP dump at either 1-6 or 1-7. This will give her good speed and magic, but polarize her other stats thanks to the nature of BEXP. She ends up with solid speed but horrendous durability. Also, the resources she desires massively overlap with Micaiah. She wants a dracoshield and she wants a robe but most of all she wants resolve, so you can't have both resolve killing everything at the same time. And the bexp dump will make it harder to level out Micaiah to bring up her speed near the end of part 1. And Micaiah is forced. Abysmal speed caps (15/23/31) continue to hurt her. 1 turning 3-13 is neat and all, but there are a lot of ways to 2-turn it. Physic spamming is cool, but Miciaiah does that too and once again is forced. Weak endgame with low speed cap and weak weapons, plus competition for the SS rank weapon don't help her case either. Wind affinity... she has a lot of issues. Be glad RD drafts aren't (usually) played on hard mode, Laura.
  17. The question is, what systems do you have? GBA/SNES Emulators, and what else? Assuming you have a PC, Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 don't take much to run, and they are amazing games. For GBA, I don't know how into Pokemon you are, but those are always a possibility and if you're the type whose already finished the series there's a pretty excellent hack called Pokemon Light Platinum out there. Also, while it's not an RPG, I must suggest Super Metroid if you have an SNES emulator.
  18. Nolan: 9/10. As others have said, he's functionally identical to Edward and a top choice.
  19. 1.5/10. No amount of resources plowed into him will give him a good enemy phase, and his growths suck on top of that.
  20. I think she's worth a solid 8/10. Thani and auto A support are big pluses. Speed is a downer, but resolve makes her usable if frustratingly reliant on luck. Also, as a side note, I don't think I have ever seen Sothe activate guard and protect her.
  21. As far as I can tell, yes. Mordy can smite an undrafted Lucia regardless of whether he was drafted or not. The only situation in which you would incur a penalty would be when an undrafted Mordy smites a drafted Lucia. Honestly, it doesn't seem like a great execution (For the same reason, it's a lot harder to get a drafted Laura to the arrive point in 1-2) but that's how the rules are written.
  22. Beating Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in sub 45 minutes. (Final Save point at 42:30) It was an awesome speed run.
