Yeah I was leaning towards a promotion, thanks for the advice. Anyways, time for a turn count update! Chapter 5x - 7/46 turns Chapter 6 - 6/52 turns Chapter 7 - 10/62 turns Wow, this level is a pain without a mounted unit...but I'm kinda getting used to that by now Chapter 8 - 10/72 turns Finally some useful units I can use, too bad they don't really help with the turn count in this chapter because they start so far away. Also, I messed up because I forgot you couldn't shop before this chapter, so Artur didn't have alot of lightning left and I almost had to solo the whole thing with Eirika D: Chapter 9 - 13/85 turns Went Eirika's route, now I get the rest of my units early. Kyle is still kinda weak so this chapter took a while even with a cavalier, hopefully promoting him will speed things up. Also got Artur to 20 but unfortunately I missed the first guiding ring, So I have to wait till I clear next chapter before I can promote him.

Well Artur is 20 already but I was thinking of promoting Kyle early so he can clear stuff faster, he's my only mounted unit for now and I think I can save some turns if I make him a paladin.

Probably not the best place to ask, but is it better to promote your units early or get them to 20/20? (this is my first draft if you haven't figured that out yet :P)

Managed to get Zihark as well for his sword.

When you're playing the first chapters with lyn can you get support conversations? If not can you atleast build up some points to get quick supports in eliwood/hector mode? Or do you have to wait for their tale before the whole support thing starts? oops double post....dunno how to delete it

Same here, I played the original FFT and something happened to my memory card and i lost my saves...couldn't be bothered to restart the game so i gave FFTA a try but that one sucked, then looked on the internets for similar games. Found FE11 and it wasn't bad but not awesome. Then tried the GBA and GC FE games later which were awesome.
