Not even sure how unpopular this is, but Saizo was my favorite character in Fates. None of my friends or coworkers who play FE used him in their playthroughs and I think he's an overlooked character that should be used more often. His story is far more interesting than his initial personality reveals.

Sobble, Zacian, Eldegoss. Mainly excited for Eldegoss and honestly don't care much for either legendary. I'll probably get Shield only because my friend I plan on playing with *really* loves Zacian and I'm just kind of indifferent.

@Lord_Grima Thanks for posting this! I wasn't sure how to feel about the classes, etc. but honestly this looks far more complex and fun than Fates or Awakening (my only FE experience so far).

Originally I planned Blue Lions, but after all the recent information I'm tempted to pick Golden Deer. I'll at least pick them for my second playthrough!

I really enjoyed War Monk in Awakening, mainly because I hate dedicated healers and also am partial to axe users. The Rally Luck skill was nice to have as well! I also enjoyed the character juxtaposition of a holy monk also being able to efficiently kill in battle.

I'm getting the American special edition. I've had it pre-ordered for awhile now, but am slightly scared GameStop is going to over sell their pre-orders and I'll get my order cancelled. It's odd that they're the only place still open for new pre-orders.

Hero, by far.

Sadly archers. They're useful for Wyvern Riders and other similar units, but overall are usually underwhelming. It's sad because I loved Niles as a character in Fates, but never used him much.

I just downloaded Hollow Knight last night and am about to start playing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. I know it's an older game, but I've learned my lesson on Playstation at this point (I never play it). If I want to get any significant play time out of a game, I need to have it on the Switch. This way when I'm tired from work I can lay in bed and play all I want! I'm hoping Hollow Knight is going to be as good as I expect and that it will hold me over until Three Houses next month.

Overall I’m happy with what I’ve seen so far. I’d be happier with more avatar customization, but am happy about the apparent lack of child units since I don’t find them that useful.

Hi everyone! I finally joined the forums this morning after realizing that I have been lurking here for around 3 years whenever I want to read about something to do with Fire Emblem. I'm still relatively new to gaming as I only started in late 2015. I was playing Pokemon Go with my boyfriend at the time and he mentioned that I might like playing a real Pokemon game, so I got a 3DS and Alpha Sapphire. I was instantly in love and not long after got Fire Emblem Awakening and the Fates games. Fire Emblem easily is still my favorite game series even after getting a Switch and a PS4, so I'm really looking forward to the release of Three Houses next month. As for non-gaming stuff, I'm finishing up grad school and working full time, so my free time is sadly limited. I'd love to get to know some of you and make new friends who share some of my interests! Happy to be here.
