  1. From this image its pretty clear that Pegasus Knights are essentially advanced classes you unlock in the intermediate tier. Same BST as Paladins. So no need to transfer to Wyvern Rider to keep up between levels 20-30.
  2. That's the thing, there are other gremory's who are essentially stuck as one. Lysithea can be a solid gremory, but she can also be a great mortal savant. Levin Sword + Hexblade combat art makes her an amazing magic sword unit. In addition, I am more than willing to bet that Thunderbrand, the relic weapon for her crest is a variant of the Levin Sword.
  3. I honestly think Lysithea is one of the best Mortal Savant candidates. However, she can easily get away with being a Gremory with a Sword specialty too. She gets double WEXP in battles, so she still gains 6 WEXP even in a class that does not have a proficiency. Most people only get 5 when they use a class with proficiency, so this is significant. This also makes her an amazing dancer, since Dancer can use magic and has a proficiency in swords. 6 WEXP for any magic, 10 WEXP for any Sword Attacks. Honestly she is just an amazing character in general.
  4. Was Cyril's strengths and weaknesses revealed yet? I just know he is good with an axe from a preview I read, and from his description he can use bows. Yes, the monastery people (Professors / Neutrals) essentially become students. The linked video shows them in the instruction screen : https://youtu.be/uDE3wClZQJk?t=176 Makes me think there is no real reason to recruit other students from other houses other then your personal likes/dislikes of their personalities.
  5. I'd say the main concern is that there is honestly no reason to not take the mounted class over the unmounted one. If you really dislike mounted classes, you could just dismount. Why use a Bishop when you can use an unmounted Holy Knight? Why use a Warlock when you can use a unmounted Dark Knight? The only classes where this does not present itself is Assassin and Hero.
  6. Hanneman and Manuela's strengths and weaknesses. Hanneman seams like a solid Dark Knight or even Bow Knight. Manuela seems to be built to be a Dancer, but can also probably be a good Holy Knight or even Falco Knight. Pretty good bases tbh, if this trend of professors/neutrals keep up there is probably no real reason to recruit anyone outside your house except for just liking a character. Hanneman's personal skill is Rally Magic, Manuela personal skill gives Crit Avoid +10 to adjacent allies.
  7. Not yet, but just from his description he said he learned archery from Shamir, so I assume at LEAST Bow.
  8. Maybe making Bernie a Falco Knight would not be a bad idea. You get a free archery student (Cyril) who can probably be a bow knight. This allows for: Edelgard : Great Lord Hubert: Dark Knight Dorothea: Savant / Dancer Ferdinand: Great Knight Linhardt: Holy Knight Bernadetta: Falco Knight Casper: War Master Petra: Wyvern Lord Byleth: Professor? Flayne: Gremory Cyril: Bow Knight This allows you to use every Master Class with minimal grinding for recruitment.
  9. Holy Knight requires A in riding....it requires C in lances.
  10. Easiest Route for Bernadetta is definitely Bow Knight. I am still racking my brain on if I should make Ferdinand a Great Knight or a Wyvern Lord. He has strengths in Armor and Riding, but is that enough to offset the fact that there are 0 classes that specialize in Axes AND Riding? I'd like to avoid using an Armored Unit as much as possible. I am honestly just annoyed that Paladins end up nowhere in the Master tier.
  11. So Flayn's strengths are Lance and Faith, like I suspected. Her weaknesses are Armor and Riding, which sort of kills her ability to be a Holy Knight....seems like a solid Falcoknight or Gremory though.
  12. https://imgur.com/a/8iJZb6Z Here is an album with all the master classes, requirements, and class skills
  13. I suspected there was an error in Byleth's strengths. In the treehouse footage, Byleth only gained 2 WEXP for using a lance, meaning its not a strength either. It is possible that Byleth unlocks more strengths as the story goes on?
  14. I just know that most fire emblem have 2 "class showcase" videos. It is possible that there are more story unlocked classes that are not character exclusives.
  15. He likely has a personal "Great Lord" masterclass that uses a Wyvern if the thani leaks are to be believed. May not have to worry about Lances at all.
  16. No no I am just using the terminology that SoV used for the overclass of Paladin lol
  17. I suppose "Gold Knight" could be considered a unique class like Dark Bishop. It would be weird if it was though.
  18. Its already confirmed for Dark Knight to be C or higher in lance, B+ or higher in Reason, A or higher in Riding
  19. I really don't like that a certain event in the game is dependent on an RNG stat...
  20. There is no paladin equivalent master class as far as I can tell
  21. Great Knight: B+ or higher in Axe, A or higher in Heavy Armor, B+ or higher in Riding That is insane amount of investment. Will great night even be worth it?
  22. Levin Swords exist in this game, there is no reason not to give Lysithea one.
  23. I do want this just for the gameplay reasons. A good story is a plus, but not the reason I play fire emblem. Having access to all the characters would be great, allowing min-maxing to the extreme.
  24. Levin Swords are in the game, so having a magic sword with combat arts as a back up for spells is definitely going to be useful.
  25. Really? I thought it was revealed pretty early on that if you unlocked a budding talent it reversed to a strength?
