    Hi lamia, Emperor_arden here, with a few questions on the fe4 hack documents.

     

    I've wanted to make an fe4 hack for some time now, but all I have to edit with is a hex editor in a browser that goes by hex.it

    I have been dabbling around with the documents, and found out how to make Quan into zane, and zane into Quan.

    however, if I save with this new zane alive, the game crashes hopelessly.

    in response to this bug, among others, I decided to see if there was something I could do to circumvent this.

    ive come across the eventing document, (Events.txt) and found it said the create character function format was like so: 27, character name low byte, character name high byte, X coordinate, Y coordinate, movement speed(typically 4),   alignment (02 for playable units) and then the three bytes of movestrings, which I found did not actually seem to work for playable units. I was hoping to make zane a playable character replacing Noish.

    in order to do this, I would need to have the address, as the formula to find the bytes by searching is not working. do you have the addresses for these things, and if so, would you put them in the fe4 hackdocs for everyone else to use?

    however, I wanted to say you make my day quite a lot of the time.

    it says your favorite fe isn't Thracia so, you might want to fix that.

    I may not know very much about the hack itself, but I did play it for a long time. however, I picked Logan (which I still think is the superior choice, dont judge) and found that there were things about the game that just was not well balanced. the mage general fight was a cool concept, but due to his capped stats, it was very difficult to keep units alive. there was one boss with 10 move, one of the members of the senate wasnt even promoted, the king had non-capped stats, which was disspointing, and of course there was the meme of "conquer: 1/72 turns" map which was the map with he bolts with ten move, I believe. as for the story, the senate felt like a last minute change. also, the crit lance has 10 uses, and cost over 6000 gold.

I just found a comment above mine that has all the hacks in a dropbox, so nevermind.

    in addition, Dalsin (from thracia) may have just been me, but had capped defense and before promoting, and had 16 skill after promotion, with 20 strength. I gave him the leg ring, and the wrath scroll, and he one rounded Gomez.

    I dont get why people prefer mercenary's. there faster, are the only uses of shamshir/wodao and crit more than any other class. (except berserkers in fates) they also dodge tank quite well. P.S.: Dalsin is op.

    I tried to speed up the naglfar tome, but it looped the animation infinitely.

    in Version 1.3 I fond that the speed up button breaks some animations, such as the fire spell. PS. I got trolled a few times: got Erika with mercy got some people with filler ability nice thighs. LMAO.
