I had another Fire Emblem dream. I was a character in FE6 fighting in that tower where you get the holy magic at. I was also dating Dorothy for some reason.

This was just a random thing that popped in my head last night while I was working on a MIDI song. Who or what gave your inspiration to go into music? Do you consider this person (these people) or thing (or these things) as a major impact of your musicianship? What inspired me to pick up the violin was during a field trip in the 2nd grade, we were treated with a grant to see the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra play for the local grammar shchools in the area. Watching the musicians play such beatiful melodies and sounds of passion (cheesy as ****, I know) stirred something in me to pick up the violin and be play like them. Also, a family friend and a member of my former church was also a member of the orchestra and would play for the church inspired me as well because he was just amazing! So during my 3rd grade year, I decided to learn to the play the violin because I thought it was a beautiful instrument to play. What inspired me to play the piano about three years later was that the family friend told me that if I want to know the true background of music and it's base, I would need to learn the piano. That, and he got ****ed over in college because they made him play the piano, an insturment he never had prior training with.

Like composing music for video games. *cough**cough*

I think this'll be the greatest video game movie ever.

Well, seeing that I want to be a music composer or a game designer after college, I don't think I'll be playing Fire Emblem for long. (No, I'm not hinting at a possible future of creating or composing Fire Emblem games.)

Heroes is a good series. I really enjoy it (expect the epic failure that is Heroes Season 2). Yeah, it may borrow from video games, comic books, and anime, but dammit, at least it's good!

Speaking of which, ya seen on the news that some ignorant old bitch stated that she won't vote for Obama because he's a "Arab", which is of course is shit! The only time I find a joke offensive is when it's not funny.

What is your stance on humor and satire? What kind of jokes, parodies, satires, etc. you think find "over-the-top" and offensive? Do you think humor should be politically incorrect? Should you think their should be a limit on satire? Me, I am not really p.c. In fact, I joke about just about anything and everything under the sun. I don't care if I hurt anyone feelings because I'm just joking and my jokes and stories shouldn't be taken seriously. I be honest with you, sometimes, I like to talk and discussion about taboo subjects and joke around with it because that is how I learn from them and learn from the failures of it, and not try to overlook the taboo's flaws. I don't mind jokes about my race or religion either. I know they're just jokes. I know their funny flaws about Christianity such as nutcases as the Hillsbro Church, and "Christians" who use their religion to harass others. Why you ask this? Because I'm more faithful than religious. I don't mind if white people make jokes about blacks because I don't let something as minor as the race I was born with to hurt my feelings. Hell, I don't give a damn about fat jokes because I made myself overeat at times! I quite don't give a damn about being offended by jokes! So,what do you think?
