  1. Well, my Ironman has gotten particularly wild. I mentioned before my odd luck with Defense growths, but Faye has also gotten magic TWICE. I have no clue what the hell is happening. The saddest news: Derrick failed to use his Imperial LSHield+ and got crippled by a horseman in 10-2. They had no mercy on him, and he met an early retirement. Also, I guess this means that Derrick will always survive, thus his dying wouldn't need to literally end the game. Plus, he has a scene with Luciana where she comes very close to figuring out his identity. I'm hoping you don't have to see it, because it'll be entertaining for people who haven't played the game yet to see the full reveal, Chapter 10 was a hot mess. Ward ended the pure Ironman, and Kramer got fucked by RNG. Leon died because I'm a dumbass and bumrushed him to his event in 10-m without checking the houses with Czene. Izerna failed a 95% holy and got crit. But Chapter 11 was a much different story. 11-m went surprisingly well, with the aforementioned defense level on Alvina. No deaths here, and Perceval continued to be epic. 11-m also went smoothly, but I ignored Morrow because I didn't want to risk dying to the leftmost ballista. I managed to reach the top cliff part by turn 10. Vadrius died on turn 16; it would've been 14, but I decided to meme and feed the kill to Czene. Level 8 with 96 XP. The only sad part is that Enid is still at 3 magic at level 15. I'm gonna deploy her in 12-1 and get her that last 34 XP so she will be guaranteed to promote. I do not want to face 15 without the Pallas Leia.
  2. 5 more deaths until Maoza! I'm almost guaranteed to at least get the Hide charm, too, which could be really funny on Dean. ORKO'ing Tankeval. Very fun meme unit. He could deal like 45 damage to the Firewyrm pretty reliably in 10-1, with Windstorm and Dawn Charm.
  3. Berwick PMU? I did one not too long ago, was incredibly fun. Saphira killed the final boss!
  4. Yeah, pretty much. 5 more deaths until Maoza Wolf, at least. Also, Dusk Charm Faye and Dawn Charm Perceval are actually pretty good. They've put a lot of work in.
  5. My Berwick Ironman's really gone to shit today. Ward died early in 10-m because he failed to shield 3 times in a row with like 85% chance, ending the "true ironman." I'm still going to continue the run as a soft ironman with rules akin to Ruben's. I finished 10-m, but it was a goddamn mess. Kramer died to an enemy who landed a 30%, adepted on 15%, and crit on 18% on the second hit. Leon just got destroyed by a crit from a random crossbow guy in the very bottom who was camping his event. Then, 10-1. No promoted Enid, and I forgot to bring Aegina, so Perceval and Sherlock mopped the floor with the wyverns. However, on the top right, Izerna failed to land a 95% hit with Holy, and got killed by a 6% crit. Managed to get the Raze Etoile on Faye, who did get two strength levels, and escaped Thor before he could chase me. Oh, and Perceval leveled defense... AGAIN. That's 2 3%s in a row. This game, I swear.
  6. Unless you decide to go for full civ requests and/or recruitment beforehand, your ranking is almost guaranteed to suck. Don't feel bad about it. My first time was pretty similar to that, but later runs were much better. Heck, I got nearly full Tactics in my PMU, which was incredibly chaotic (such as a solo of 1-1 with Christine).
  7. Ayy, nice! Also, 15 was leagues harder for me my first time, lol. My first run took like 47 turns, but I've since managed to reduce it down to 19. Reploids's LTC managed to get 6 with Brymranger + Miracle Charm Volo strats. What would you say your favorite maps in the game are? Also, glad you liked that second reveal. Perfect
  8. No deaths in 12-m? Nice! Good luck with 12-1! Luckily, Perceval doesn't need to hit anything to trigger his event. also don't forget about the tulsa circlet
  9. He still has not missed an attack yet. Somehow. He even crit funny G Man! After landing the first hit!
  10. I have discovered a meme in my Berwick Ironman to surpass Dusk Charm Faye: Dawn Charm Perceval. Even with his base wind skill, he can get 84 hit on Windstorm due to the +17 hit from Dawn Charm and +7 from Enid (3 from Charisma, 4 from support). My Perceval also got Magic his first level, so he can basically deal the same damage as Dire Thunder if all attacks connect. Enid failed to hit 4 magic before Chapter 9 ended, currently level 12. That means 10-1 will be the Aegina + Perceval hour. Uh oh. Oh, and Percy got defense. Somehow.
  11. What did FE9 do to you? I don't remember the game having that many edgelords...
  12. PoR supports are actually feel like conversations and can be somewhat interesting, while a lot of the GBAFE supports I've read feel so, so empty to me. Granted, I'd probably rate GBAFE as my least favorite games in the series, so I'm hella biased.
  13. TRS does the evil cult thing really well; the Gerxelians are pretty interesting, and the lore behind them is pretty cool. Too bad a lot of that lore comes in Kaga-style exposition dumps at the end.
  14. Oh, right, that happens if you don't meet Perceval's requirement.
  15. I adore that mission, for quite a few reasons. Particularly how it uses the mechanics to actually feel like a stealth mission without getting absolutely destroyed by ballistae, instead having the Wormwood mage just north of the sacrifice site. Also, the tension is so consistent throughout - rarely a dull moment to be found.
  16. There is Berwick Redux, which is a rather meme-y "balance" patch including things such as Derrick having Flyer type movement with like 40 base LShield skill and 50 base Axe skill. Balance patches for these games are never my cup of tea, though, so I've never tried it myself.
  17. Dean should be able to tank a ballista bolt. You could also shoot some arrows at him to try to weaken his shield, but a good swing of the Hammer ought to kill him pretty reliably. If you can get enough might before them, bodkin arrows might be able to help. Earthblaze, too, as it should deal some damage even with that nasty fire resistance.
  18. 12-m is a pretty good map. Don't bother with talking to Pentland with Alvina unless you want to try to get the bottom ballista to shoot maybe 1 enemy. Just kill them with Larentia or something. Also, Larentia can get the coemel pearl, so Axel isn't a must. 12-1 (some people call it 12-2 for some reason) is probably my favorite mission in all FE/Kagasaga, but it has a very high probability of kicking your ass. Kinda like 9-m, which happens to be my second favorite map in the game.
  19. This just reminded me of a fun fact: of the three 90-hit PRFs in this game, Owen can (theoretically) use two of them. However, his best chance to cast them is 35% - and that's if he's at level 30.
  20. Oof. Yeah, he's a pain. I'm gonna try to kill him with Dean Vengeful + (hopefully) Pallas Leia in my ironman, using a Miracle Charm on Dean in case Thor gets a crit.
  21. Do you think you'll try to get Faye captured in 2-2, or have Dean murder Chaos? I did the latter way, and it's very rewarding. If you use a Broadaxe with Muscle Brace and some good ol' Commander aura, you can get Dean to have >100 hit on Vengeful proc. Speaking of which, I forgot to bring any fire or wind magic in 9-m, so I had to plant Dean in the chokepoint and watch him eat 29 damage Gigas Knight attacks to proc Vengeful and kill the dastard.
  22. I just saw this while scrolling back, and Faramir's definitely edgier than Volo. And that's including Volo's tendency to steal money from corpses.
  23. Oh, yeah. 11 Strength, 10 Def, 13 speed. 24 sword skill, 28 MShield. It's insane. His HP is lower by 2 though, so their totals are actually even. This is at level 14.
