  1. Insert John Cena saying "Are you sure about that?"
  2. Considering that like half the furniture left is like <20k, more is an inevitability.
  3. True. Having 3 Eagle braces and the +10 Hit brace makes Perceval so much easier to train. Hell, this is his second deployment outside of 6-m and he's 15 Thunder skill now. Also, I now have 6 pieces of furniture: Treasure Chest, Porcelain Vase, Coffers, Sword Mount, Art: Revival, and Tapestry
  4. You know, I was already proud of Sylvis. She crippled numerous bounties without Maim or Apeiron. She got several good levels. But this was a whole new level. I was trying to have Czene injure Riddle with the Bolt Knife I picked up in 5-1. I was using Esteban as human bait to get Riddle onto a cliff tile to set up Mercy Percy strats (no rank for lightning orb yet tho). But then something absolutely insane happened. When Riddle entered Sylvis's Overwatch range with the Apeiron, she landed the hit on the cliff tile, procced Maim, and crippled him in one shot. Sylvis, Czene, Perceval, and Esteban are now my designated Cripple Squad. These 4 have been getting shit done.
  5. Some sports are alright. Nothing can be as bad as ADHD, The Sport.
  6. That's almost hilariously impossible to imagine, lol. I don't think I'd really have one. Unless there exists some alter-ego of me that adores GBAFE and despises KagaSaga.
  7. True, true. Though if were keeping track to say who did more cripples, so far, it's a toss-up between her and Esteban. The two of them have been crippling so much stuff, it's amazing.
  8. I think I sold some bags. Sylvis also popped off and crippled both Valentin and Gariad... Without proccing Maim.
  9. I bought the Treasure Chest in Chapter 2...
  10. You learn many a cursed thing in a run where you try to optimize furniture purchases.
  11. There is an actual argument for buying the Coffers early, though: if he equips only Gram with his base stats and the speed booster, he'll have exactly enough AS to be able to proc Adept. Not a big deal but it's nice early on.
  12. What do you mean, an extra ?% sword growth rate on Reese isn't a priority, when the guy has only gotten like 1 point of sword skill since I bought the thing? What could you possibly be insinuating???
  13. I don't usually have a horse in these insanity races, but this is as worthy of a threat as saying you'd delete the old Super Monkey Ball games.
  14. He knows I wanted his damned silver coin. Reese must get more money for his furniture. I'm already at like 5 pieces and 25 thousand Denarii, but I need MORE.
  15. Oh right, Berwick people, you might find this funny. I was playing 7-main last night. On turn 6, this happened (spoilered for size): Kind of a weird spot to exist. The next turn, he went back up into the fog. But then, at the end of turn 8, he did this: He came back. At this point, he's just being a creeper. Dunno why he's doing that to the generic guy in Vester's squad, or maybe he's just taking a shit. I continued with the map as normal, and on turn 20, after having Volo do his event (I did it again lol), Dean reached the forest tile 4 up-left diagonally from Lebrus's above position, after I saw him run up again on turn 10. Lebrus was never seen again.
  16. "Ah, Dracoknight spam, your timing is uncanny! And by uncanny I mean COMPLETELY CANNY!"
  17. I've finished Dark Deity. Story was really meh, all of my enjoyment came from the cast and one of the villains. The other two villains sucked though. Gameplaywise, most of the maps were just sorely uninteresting. Chapter 19 was pure HELL and was honestly one of the worst maps I've ever seen. Ch23 was pretty neat though. The best way I can put it, the game feels like a small but noticeable improvement over Awakening in terms of gameplay. It got steamrolly towards the end, but the weapon and class system were both quite good. A follow-up game could absolutely further expand on these mechanics and also help make the maps more unique and interesting than just rooms where ya kill enemies 90% of the time.
  18. I have the anti-NSFW filter on so it's not too bad. There is some incredibly spoilery stuff in a couple places though, so be warned.
  19. "I'll enjoy these lewds when hell freezes over!"
  20. The sad thing is, there are good ideas in here! The weapon system is interesting, along with the class system. Just... the bland-ass maps, the fact that every single enemy has crit for the entire game, the Awakening / 3H tier inflation... they all really drag down the experience. The lack of terrain isn't a good sign, but you can make good maps without real terrain beyond passable/impassble (look at Berwick Ch15). These maps just aren't good anyway. I think a DD2 could improve a lot on these problems, and I'm going to finish DD, but it won't go high on my list, that's for certain.
  21. I'm getting into Ch18 of DD now. Yeah, most of these maps are either bad or uninteresting. Not to mention it has pulled the same trick twice, where after you complete the main objective it suddenly becomes an Arrive map in some other place but it doesn't matter since the map is already cleared out and any threat they may put in is ten miles away and/or incredibly non-threatening. Way to not waste my time or anything, guys. Also, the enemy quality is starting to spike. Hard. Even my most accurate units have like 50 hit on Tricksters, who have 1~2 range (even if the enemy ranges don't fucking show the 2-range). The only semi-decent maps so far have been Ch5 (the portals mechanic made me actually use my brain), Ch13 (the river terrain choice is odd but it tries with having an actual side objective) and maybe Ch15, which, well, isn't a good map, but it's neat. Beyond those though the whole game has suffered greatly from the disease of every map feeling like a room or series of rooms of just killing enemies and little else. And from the brief snippets from the Excelblem video, it looks like it's about to get far, far worse. Ch14 already rivaled HSoS Ch11 in its pure shittiness (ch14 at least isn't escape all, but HSoS Ch11 actually has reinforcements that can be a threat), so I can only imagine how bad some maps will get.
  22. I was having some fun with Ch13 of DD, and then Ch14... God, that map was terrible. You kill enemies for two turns, faceroll to the top of the map, and then spend at least 10 turns walking all the way back to the bottom to end the map. And from that video, doesn't look like the maps are gonna get much better from here. Oh boy...
  23. Ah, ouch. I'm curious what softlocked you- did a unit with the door key die?
