On the plus side, Dark types can Spike block Klefki now.
It doesn't affect stuff like Spikes. Spikes target the field and not the pokemon.

Wait, you can evolve Pikachu into Alolan Raichu with just a Thunder Stone and nothing else? I know that the Normal Raichu can be evolved by using the Thunder Stone on the Pikachu, but I do remembered that they said that Alolan Raichu changes by eating a lots of Pancakes that formed into the Alolan Form.
Is there more evolution requirement than just using Thunder Stone for the Alolan Raichu?
Nope. Just the stone.

So, unless I'm missing something on the move set list, how does Zygarde learn Core Enforcer, Thousand Arrows, and Thousand Waves?
I believe you need to get all 100 cells.

Alolan forme only run is going to suck...
By the looks of it.
Exeggcute can be obtained from Poni Wilds and Exeggutor Island, and they both seem to be main game.

Mount Lanakila has the highest leveled wild pokemon before a jump up to Poni Grove's 52-55.

Going off of the Wild data, it's on the third island and the wild stuff are around Lv30. So there's no way it's the victory road.
Mount Lanakila has level 42-45 pokemon.

Isn't Poni Meadow on the fourth island, and the Mountain on the 3rd?
Mount Lanakila I believe is the Victory Road.

Pretty much. Apparently Charjabug does work well enough throughout the game, provided it has an Eviolite. I'm gonna have to skip out on giving my Charjabug Eviolite though, as Crabrawler will need all the help it can get, as it evolves even later.
I think the Mossy Rock is in Lush Jungle. May be wrong on that though.
And yeah the Icy Rock is somewhere on Mount Lanakila.

So, how do you evolve Charjabug into Vikavolt? The evolution method list that's been going around is very vague on the matter.
Vast Poni Canyon. It's also the spot for Magnezone and Probopass.

252+ Atk Choice Band Araquanid Liquidation vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mew: 339-400 (99.4 - 117.3%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
The base 40 speed went from "oh great this total shit" to a necessary limiter.
Since it also gets Entrainment, what mons would enjoy it?

It registers them as seen, so you know where to catch them.

How do the QR codes work and what do they do?
You scan them to register them as seen in your dex to be able to find them, and after you scan 10 a day a rare pokemon appears for ~an hour somewhere in the region. I don't have a list of them, but they are pokemon outside of the Alola dex, including the gen 2 starters and the fully evolved gen 5 starters.

Yep. Have fun trying to catch them though. Even at that low level they would be pretty powerful.

So I made a pastebin on what pokemon are called from SOS battles, mon by mon.
There were surprisingly less instances of mons calling mons of another species than I thought there would be.

It can't. There is no way Pikachu, Cubone, or Exeggcute can evolve into their evolved forms Kanto forms.
