  1. Hardin also appears in one of the BS chapters included in FE12. Anyway, not only those character have art from FE12. They're all ONLY in FE 11 and/or 12, besides Marth and Hardin (and Marth has FE12 art anyway, so Hardain likely will follow suit). That's why I think it's pretty obvious that isn't a FE3 list, it's a FE12 one. Edit: Now I get what you mean, yeah, Hardain won't have out of game character artwork in FE12 for his days as an hero, so it's likely Emperor Hardain with FE12 artwork too.
  2. That's just an ally unit, not a confirmation that he's getting a spotpass version. The character is called "Prince Marth" though, rather than just "Marth", and has a differen mugshot, so it's very likely that he'll be a spotpass unit too.
  3. Personally, I hope they do include the archetype characters in the eventual FE1 Spotpasses. They don't need multiple complete groups of Pegasus Sisters, but having the three original ones, alongside other "originator" characters, for the eventual FE1 team would be nice. Edit: Also, I hope they include a guest manakete later, maybe they could even turn one of the dragon Laguz from Radiant Dawn into a manakete to give us some new options...
  4. Technically, we saw enemy unit Leaf. Enemy Units don't seem to need to match the Spot pass version perfectly. Sigurd Spotpass is a paladin, but he's just a Social Knight in the Roy DLC (Although he's a Paladin in the Leaf DLC chapter too).
  5. The actual spotpass content still is releasing FE4 Gen 1 characters, hasn't even started any other ones. Those lists above have the enemies and npcs from the Leif DLC chapter. Those lists don't have official names. I'm pretty sure the Achanea one is closer to a FE12 list than anything else though. Only 2 characters there aren't remake-exclusive.
  6. Alm and Celica are with Marth's army though. They seem to be red units according to the picture available.
  7. That list looks more like a FE12 or 11/12 list rather than FE3. Aren't the only past characters there Marth and Hardin? Every other one is exclusive to the remakes or even just to FE12 itself. And for Hardain and "Prince" Marth, maybe they'll have two different versions. Anyway, I hope Cain and Abel make it to a proper FE1 or 3 list. So far, they haven't included a single pair or red/green social knights in this game...
  8. But that's just because you don't want DLC at all so you wish it were bad. It's nice to see that there'll be some unique gameplay and battle content for the characters after the underwhelming revelations regarding Roy's and Celice's DLCs.
  9. They don't have custom classes. Marth has one, but Roy and Leif just have the standard classes. Also, I guess the Micaiah DLC confirms that the classes of the actual DLC don't match the ones used in the previous DLC chapters. Too bad that might mean no soldier Ephraim. I hope they at least let him keep that class even as a playable unit considering how they aren't giving custom classes to them... Edit: Alm's DLC also includes a new class (male-only), Magic Warrior. That's why it costs more than the other ones. So, I guess the future for the DLC isn't so bad. It seems like that rather than giving us more people with custom classes exclusive to them, the costlier DLC might bring new classes to be used by your party members.
  10. But Mercenary Roy will be unable to use the Rapier. I hope they let him reclass into Lord, even if it's just a pallet swap of Marth's or Krom's classes. Anyway, I'm surprised that they actually turned Ephraim into a soldier. It fits him better than anything else, but there's no playable soldier in the game...
  11. A generic Leaf with his own portrait. I guess this strongly suggests that even DLC characters will have spotpass versions too. Wait, what's Ephraim's class there? I thought soldiers weren't in this game? Also, Eliwood was a social knight, but Celice was an unmounted unit? Anyway, Roy's model looks really cheap. They didn't even give him his bandanna and cape. It's just a recolored mercenary... Meh, forget what I just said then. I don't think the DLC units will get spotpass versions in this case. They'd be basically the same thing. Also, according to the Japanese FE13 Wiki, Roy's class is just the standard mercenary one, no mechanics change at all, unlike Marth's Starlord.
  12. The artwork seems to be mirrored compared to his in game portrait.
  13. Have you gotten any spot pass characters yet? I'm kind of curious about their appearance considering the lack of in game screenshots or videos featuring them. The guest enemies and allies in Marth's chapter only have unique hair colors, with their clothing color depending on the faction (red for enemies, green for allies). So, does every spotpass unit in your party ends up with blue armor/clothing, following that pattern, or do they actually have their own personal colors? I mean I guess many would be generic blue anyway (especially looking at the FE4 cast), but some should have other main colors.
  14. Hm... Is there any footage at all of the spot pass characters as player units? I'm kind of wondering now if they have any personal colors in their models aside from the hair. As enemies in the DLC stage they all seem to be red and gray, and ally Ike wears white and green. So, the spotpass units on the player's side would be all dressed in blue? Is there any image or video confirming or denying that?
  15. Not only Roy DLC is based on the mercenary look, Alm and Ike also are mercenaries in Marth's DLC chapter. It's just the most straightforward swordsman class, so I can see why they're using it for the main characters with unique classes that are just about straight forward sword fighting. I don't think they'll have those classes if they become actual DLC though, rather than just spot pass units. Most likely they'll get unique classes too, just with the model based on something else and I don't think they'd use mercenaries twice, the reusing of assets would become too obvious. I could see them using the Hero design for Alm, minus the shield, while Ike, like I said before, would probably be based on Krom's Lord class.
  16. They might use Krom's Lord outfit as a base for Ike's redesign. Marth was based on masked Marth, after all. So, they aren't above making DLC based on special classes. I'm just talking about designs though, not the classes themselves. Marth's class is different from Masked Marth's, so I don't think Roy is going to be just a "mercenary" in spite of using that design. The DLCs seem to be at least getting their own personal classes. It's still a bit cheap though, thinking about it. DLC characters have no voice acting, no cut-ins for their criticals, no supports and even their "exclusive" models seem to always be based on in game models, even if only partially. I actually have no complaints about the spotpass characters. Those 120 units being in the game is a very good bonus to me even if they're just generic units, but the actual paid content being limited like that seems somewhat disappointing.
  17. I just checked the Classes video again, and it seems like Roy's redesign is almost entirely based on the mercenary class. Belts, shoulder pad (even its shape) and boots/pants match up perfectly with the in game 3d model of the mercenary class. Of course, Roy has a cape too, and a different head. I thought his design resembled something from the game itself, but I hadn't realized how close it was to it.
  18. if they do get DLC versions, not just spot pass, I'd expect them all to have unique classes someway, not just generic ones. Ephraim and Eirika likely will take after their promoted classes, not their base ones, so horse riding lords with some other new Lord type classes. Same goes to Eliwood. Ike... I can't see him getting two versions, like I said in the other topic, everyone is getting redesigns anyway, so this wouldn't be FE9 Ike and "Fe10 Ike", it'd be "FE13 Ike" and having a second "FE 13 Ike" doesn't make much sense. I think Micaiah is more likely to take the FE10 spot even if she wasn't the actual main character. Of course, that's all assuming that they do go and include all those other characters as DLC. They might just stop after Leaf, unfortunately.
  19. Regarding the earlier discussion about whether we're getting FE9 Ike, FE10 Ike or even both, I don't think it'd matter. Everyone seems to be redesigned for this, so this would be "FE13 Otherworld Ike" (if we get more than these three initial announcements, of course). Anyway, if they do attempt to include at least one lord per game, I'd think that Micaiah would take the FE10 spot, even if Ike was more of a main character than her, considering how he'd get an FE13 version thanks to FE9.
  20. From what I've gathered: The DLC chapters have dialogue and story. Every single guest there has pre-battle dialogue and death quotes. For the Marth dlc, Marth/Krom, My Unit/Ike and Alm/Liz have talk events in the map itself. Spotpass units have a quick introduction and also pre-battle dialogue if you choose to face them. Neither DLC nor spotpass have supports though. Anyway, regarding the design changes... The new Marth, in spite of having a new class and his own model, still clearly was redesigned to match [spoilers]'s model. Yet, he's a Starlord, his own class, not just
  21. Keep in mind that the white and green clothes might be because he's just a neutral unit. The actual spot pass Ike we get later might have at least a blue tunic over white pants, even if it's still the generic mercenary model.
  22. The title of the chapter seems to imply that the girls are possessed/controlled by something.
  23. Are there any news yet regarding supports/bonds and the spotpass and DLC characters? I don't expect the spotpass ones to have them, although I'd like to be pleasantly surprised (still, they'll end up gimped if there are no supports), but it'll be disappointing if the paid DLC characters are standalone and have no interactions at all with anyone...
