Shadow Dragon was my first. I got up to chapter 7 with everyone in my army death expect for Marth, Merric, and Hardin. With marth being so weak throughout the playthrough. Since he was the lord I rarely had him fight to protect him. I couldn't beat the chapter so I quit fire emblem altogether. I came back a few months later to give it another shot, and I beat the game with Draug, Gordin, and Cain as my only deaths.

I actually like this theory quite a bit. And to add to it, i'd also like to point out that the characters hair seems to be turning white just like Walharts.

The neckalce looks nearly identical to the Falchion's handle as well. I think with that in mind, and the fact that one side looks very eastern based, this may be a prequel or even a sequel to Awakening that takes place on Valm. I really hope that's it. I would love for them to fill in the Tiki/gemstones/Medeus plotholes.

-Bring back the dismount feature. It actually made me think and plan ahead before rushing into chapters. I honestly feel it's a feature that should have returned a long time ago. -Let us visit/wander around villages like in Gaiden. -Don't go with the "Just this once... EVERYONE LIVES!!!" route. I couldn't stand how characters Gangrel and Emmeryn came back in the end. -No more anime trope style characters please. -For the love of god, give the Mu a smaller role. -Remove Marriage system -Actually make the magic look good. Don't make all spells just recolors of each other.

Back in the day, people said the same thing when it showed Emmeryn's tear fall down and it showed Akaneia for a split second. I remember quite a bit of people saying that it didn't mean much, and it "didn't even look like Akaneia" for a while. While I for one, agree that this probably means nothing, I can also see why others think it does look like FE7's opening. But we'll have to wait and see for now.

I actually thought something pretty similar myself. At 1:25 the world seems to be messed up which could have been caused by the scouring. I'm kind of hoping the girl is Artemis though. But that's only because I want a game set in Anri's time so bad...

I mean, they get a support in fe12, but that's just about it. And that's after the two of them get engaged. I never really understood how the two of them fell in love with each other in the first place. In fe11 they literally only speak one time to each other over the course of the game until the epilogue where they make Caeda seem like such a huge character. If she dies, Marth even goes on to say that out of everyone, she's the one he wanted to protect most, but it seems she was the one protecting him. I get there are some hints in that game, like how Caeda asks Ogma to protect Marth, and how Marth gets jealous when Caeda flirts with Roger, but the fact that the two don't even interact in game just bothers me. It just feels like the game is telling us that they love each other, but never really shows us. While instead, it the game goes out of its way to show both Marth and Caeda becoming close to other characters. Throughout the game, Marth is constantly having intimate conversations with Nyna that anyone could mistake for love, while Caeda is often times shown flirting with characters like Jake, Roger, and having a very close bond with Ogma. Not only this, but outside the main games, this kind of stuff happens even more. In the manga adaption Marth is hinted to have feelings or at the very least seems to be infatuated with Minerva not only do to her fighting prowess, but because she reminds him so much of Elice. Minerva in turn, is also hinted to have feelings for Marth as shown when Michalis asks Minerva if she has romantic feelings for him causing her to just walk away. In the extra chapter in fe12 where you play as Oguma, after completing the chapter there's a scene where Ogma is sitting by a lake telling Caeda about how she changed his life for the better, and that even when she goes off to marry Marth in Altea, he will allways protect her. This moment even causes Caeda to break down in tears saying stuff like "Ogma, even after i Marry Marth, I want you to know, that you will always... i will." Ogma then interrupts her from saying something she would most likely regret and tells her it would be alright. Honestly, to me Marth and Caeda just doesn't work all to well. The only evidence I really ever got of these two was from some scenes of the anime and manga, but never the game itself. Does anyone else feel this way.

First off i'd like to say i'm not fure if this is the right area to post this or not. I assume it would be since my question is about the son, BS Fire Emblem and Thraccia 776. Well I just found out about the song, but i'm not quite sure what exactly the lyrics of the song are suppose to mean. Some people I talk to say the lyrics are meant to be from Elthin's POV about Leaf, while others say it's meant to be from Camu's POV to Nyna about Marth and/or Hardin since the song (due to my knowledge) appeared in BS Fire Emblem first. To me the idea of it being about Camus/Nyna would make more sense considering it did originate from BS Fire Emblem first with the title "Akaneian fanfar", but the fact that it was first released with the Thraccia 776 soundtrack has me wondering. Can anyone enlighten me on what the meaning of the song is really about?

Actually in Awakening it's mentioned that the person who renamed the continent was Alm's successor, not Alm himself. Michalis could have easily become king after Alm was killed in battle, or stepped down from the throne.

I just feel it would make sense that Cherche would name her after a hero of her own continent due to the fact that Minerva really didn't do anything that good during her time on Akaneia. In fact everything Minerva done was the opposite of good. Even she admits it in her support with palla. She done nothing but faught amongst her family, threw Macedon into war, and sparked rebelions all because she failed as a queen. However with Michalis becoming ruler of Valm, the people of Valm could easily consider Minerva some legendary warrior just because she's the brother of Michalis and they wouldn't know of the mistakes she caused. But that's just my thought on the subject. Also about Gaiden not having wyverns, I didn't think of that. That actually makes me think Michalis becoming the ruler over Valm could be even more plausible. Macedon was most known for its wyverns even having their special forces be called "the red dragoons", so with Michalis becoming ruler it would make sense that he would bring wyverns with him or even create an area on the continent specifically for wyverns to live.

Michalis' ending in FE12 states "Accounts are conflicted about Michalis after the war. Some said he ruled over Macedon once again, while others claimed he departed to conquer another continent." I think the the other continent could have been Valentia, and here's why. Cherche in Awakening is from the continent Valm which is the future version of Valentia. Her wyvern is named Minerva after Michalis' sister Minerva which she confirms in the dlc. Why would she name her wyvern Minerva, when Minerva was someone who was from Akaneia? It would make more sense for her to name her wyvern after a hero of her own continent, Valm. Well Minerva might actually be connected to Valm. While Michalis' ending is him (possibly) concurringValentia, Minerva's ending is that she finally made up with Michalis and the two of them returned to how they use to be. Maybe Michalis ruled over newly created Valm alongside his sister Minerva, and that's why Cherche named her wyvern after Minerva. Thoughts?

I know that, but i'm talking about after his death. He set the seal so only Linde could use aura, and that only women could use light magic. Why?

I know Aura can only be used by Linde because Miloh set a seal so that only she could use it, but is it ever explained why only women can use light magic? There's even a scene in ths game with merric wondering why he can't learn it with Linde telling him it can only be used by females. Why is this?

I remember the ending to Shadow Dragon changing depending on if she was alive or dead in that game. Does that same thing happen here? She a huge part of the ending cutscene so I think it would wouldn't it?

No way! I'll stick to the handheld games thank you. I hated the GC and Wii fire emblem games. I tried them both and just quit after the first few chapters because the characters and stories felt to unappealing. They just felt to "unfire emblem" like. Although I just got done beating new mystery of the emblem for the 2nd time. (Best FE game eva )

Personally I want A prequel of the akaneia saga showing off the adventures of Anri, Artemis, Ordwin, Iote, Cartas, and Marlon. It would be really simple to. Anri is the playable lord of the game, Artemis would play the nyna type role to were she appear every now and then to give you advice and such, and you could even recruit Ordwin, Iote, and Cartas along the way. Also that way we would get to see the death of Miloh, Garnef going into madness, the era of dragons, and more. If that's out of the question I wan't A sequel of awakening... and if that happens... PLEASE bring back Medeus and Garnef! Especially Garnef. I liked Garnef so much that I wouldn't even mind if he does something like kills Medeus and he ends up being the final villian. xD

Sorry if I missed something, but does it ever explain exactly why The whole continent (and the countries for that matter) changed it's name? It just doesn't make sense to me why they would change all the names. I know it's 2000 years later but still...
