  1. I'm certain they'll have two different models for Male/Female, after all the outfit design is completely different anyhow. But it looks like the Kamui that appears in the CS's is generic Kamui, probably no matter what this is the case. The reason they could explain this is because Kamui can change haircut (and possibly color? I forgot what options there were when that bit was shown) at any given time through My Castle. But yea, at around 0:25 despite Kamui being mostly covered up head-wise you can still see his white hair and one of his eyes. Basically 1/3 of his face is peaking out from behind that hat. And you can definitely see Kamui's pointed ears in the Super Saiyan scene, although I thought maybe that it might be Leon before I saw that through constantly pausing/playing that scene. So damn, lol.

  2. And here I thought my English was bad lol, it seems I'm not the only one who couldn't make out the lyrics XDD

The words seemed pretty clear it's just that right at the point in the lyrics her voice gets overpowered by arrows swooshes/Garon

At that point, I hear 'something something something yours to something~'

  3. It seems to be all but confirmed that Kamui's half dragon form is his critical animation. What surprised me though was that it looked like he morphed two arms into one, and that those looked completely different from his complete transformation.

Edit: dang, missed that it was an ability called "Dragon Fang". Still surprised over the different transformation though.

Speaking of transformations, was that Kamui glowing all purple in the cutscene? I thought they would be from his point of view since he's a customizable character.

I think it's Leon, I paused at 1:07 and hair-wise it looked like him. Could be Marx though but I dunno, it seemed to happen because of the (what looks like to be) 'Elise death scene' but that could've just been because of the order they put the CS's in.

Edit: But maybe not, they did have the pointed ears. I mean I originally thought it was Kamui but I have no idea how that would work if there is customization involved... I mean the only reason it worked with Kamui and Aqua in that one scene is because Kamui was in dragon form.

  4. look at 0:56 into the video. is it me or does that look like elise's death scene?

That's what it looked like, yea. My guess is that the next scene is showing Kamui going berserk because of it. SO FREAKIN' HYPED!

Edit: Or that's Marx going berserk, I can't tell... Actually it wouldn't make sense for Kamui to appear in the CS though because of their customization options and all, the only way Kamui showed up in that Aqua scene is because they go dragon form so nvm, it's one of the Nohr brothers... Actually upon closer inspection it looks like Leon if you pause at 1:07. Hm, gah but then why do they have pointed ears?! I don't know anymore.

  5. I think it's just that Garon is a power-hungry madman like his description basically states and that his ambition guides him, clouding his better judgement. If he's trying to use you for your dragon blood/power, which would make sense otherwise why bother raising a captive child as your own in the first place, then it's probably just because he wants as much power as possible so nothing can stand in his way. Sure he needs the lands of Hoshido for his people but I have a feeling he couldn't give a damn about his people and mostly just wants to crush Hoshido for opposing them, you and your siblings probably realize that he's more or less gone off the deep end in the Nohr path and try to stop him in order to better your country.

Afterthought: He could just be using Kamui as a weapon against them, instead of actually taking the power for himself. I have a feeling he's involved in something crazy dark but that's mostly related to the way his character looks and acts, plus that scene in one of the trailers where it looks like he swings a weapon/attacks and then a dark explosion emerges in the middle of a bunch of soldiers. Perhaps he has the fire emblem and has gone mad from it like Ashnard the king of Daein in PoR?

  6. Camilla is basically a yandere who gets all the boys to the yard due to her assets (not complaining, but just saying). Hinoka, I agree, seem too plain and straightforward, but Camilla's yandere personality seems as straightforward. Hinoka misses you a lot, while Camilla is a protective yandere onee-san; it's like having Yuno as your hot big sister.

    Oh god.

Does she attempt to kill you if you choose Hoshido because she wants you to belong to her and her alone? Is this her way of 'saving' you from them?

  7. Leon's my favorite of the Nohr siblings, design-wise he's my 2nd favorite character in 'If' (first being Cyrus). I already know I'm going to love his personality, I imagine he'll put up a rather arrogant and snarky front, looking down on just about everyone but his siblings and father, but in the face of adversity his serious side shows along with his wit and cunning. Yep, I imagine he'll be one of my faves, can't wait to see what kind of conversations he has with his siblings (along with any of his other support options), I can imagine he'll give a lot of the cold shoulder until later supports.

  8. Oh, I just meant is it Garon or their mother on the Nohr side and is it Mikoto or their father on the Hoshido side that carries the blood? Garon seems likely to have dragon blood in him, but is it divine? And Mikoto doesn't look like she has any dragon blood in her so perhaps it's their father who dies in the beginning that has the divine dragon blood, but I could be wrong, maybe Mikoto can become a dragon too. That would be something.

Edit: The only thing that makes me think that it's the dead parents that carry the blood of the dragons is that both Garon and Mikoto don't seem to have pointy ears like Kamui, so I don't think they can transform or anything, but it would be cool. Perhaps Garon steals your power, or stole it from his wife through dark magics and transforms into a cursed dragon! Oh dang!

  9. My question still stands as to which parent on both sides carries this divine dragon blood, I feel like that bit of info could explain some things, or at least allow me to speculate some more as that's the only thing keeping me sane while I wait for more info. on this game.

  10. I just wonder where the dragon blood comes from on both sides of the family, there will probably be some plot reasons as to why Kamui is able to transform but it could just be that the blood is stronger in them then the others. Why? I'm not sure, just by chance or perhaps a divine being of sorts made it so? Also the only reason I bring up Aqua's mother being a half-dragon/dragon is because I have a feeling that Aqua closely resembles her mother and she looks more divine/otherworldly then the rest of her siblings, plus if their mother was a half-dragon and say Kamui's father was a half-dragon it would explain why they only have enough dragon's blood to use Dragon's Vein and not transform (as Nah from Awakening was a half-dragon but could still transform so they can't be half). Perhaps, Kamui is a bastard child between the two half-dragon parents and is actually a half-sibling to everyone, thus the third path being unlocked due to this shocking truth being revealed to the player by some unknown source that was only unlocked because DLC does that and AHHH, WHERE AM I GOING WITH THIS?!?!?!

  11. Perhaps! I think that the necklace could be the Fire Emblem, however. It doesn't make that much sense to me for Aqua to be carrying around a dragonstone in that form, if they can just give one to Kamui.

Perhaps it's her mother's? Again it's all just speculation, but I could see it as being an heirloom from her mom, something to remember her by. Plus they all have dragons blood in them, hence the dragon's vein ability. And if Kamui has so much blood that they are able to transform yet they can't control their powers then it would make sense that Garon wouldn't have any Dragon Stone within their reach.

Now I'm gonna toss out a rather unlikely theory but perhaps Aqua's mother is a dragon or half-dragon and orchestrated this series of events/knew that one day Aqua would come into contact with Kamui, and that she would become the catalyst to Kamui's 'awakening'. I dunno, I just get the feeling that there's something bigger going on here then just 'fate' but maybe I'm just hoping for that to be the case as I can't see a plot based on 'fate'/'fateful encounters' being all that engaging. (Please let there be some major plot-twists/plotting between the two nations and their leaders)

  12. There are other types of hidden weapons, probably mostly of the knife variety. For example, in one of the screenshots, Joker was shown wielding a fruit knife which he uses to feast on the blood of his enemies

^Does he peel their hearts as he would an orange?

But yea, I pictured hidden weapons as more of knives/throwing knives, though I can see stuff like kunai, shuriken, maybe something like a tanto blade or sai being included due to the ninja class. Though I have a feeling it will mostly just be knives.

  13. I posted this in another topic but as mentioned before by others Kamui can't really control his/her powers, thus the use of Dragon Stones, now I read some speculation that Aqua's necklace is actually a Dragon Stone and my theory is that the instance in where he/she transforms and attacks Aqua is the instance the player learns that Kamui can change into a dragon. Kamui goes berserk in this instance and almost kills Aqua but is brought back to their senses somehow at the last minute, Aqua probably knows of Kamui or at least underestands what he/she is and explains it to Kamui (in some way, just for the sake of the player) and then before much longer you begin to gain control of your powers and start using them in battle. I also theorized that this instance happens around the same time as that singing scene we see in the trailer where Aqua is singing out towards the river/lake, the reason I think this is because it appears as if you're underwater, the only thing that doesn't make sense is if that's the case then how can Aqua talk? Is it related to her name which means water perhaps? I dunno, this is all just baseless speculation so make of it as you will.

  14. I imagine it will be a mixture of mechanics from both Hoshido and Nohr. Such as you can grind for exp and the like but it will be much more limited then Hoshido. And objective-wise it'll probably throw in some 'Capture this point' or 'Defend this point' objectives that Nohr is said to have. I hope that if there are any instances where you have to pick between two units that it only happens once or twice, though I'd prefer if it didn't happen at all and that instead we just had some more unique characters thrown into the mix. After all I can't see everyone from either the Nohr or Hoshido side defecting for your cause.

  15. I'm mostly judging based on appearances as I don't know much about the characters to judge them based on personality:

Ryouma - Because although his long spiky porcupine hair is a bit weird I'm used to it, plus I just think he has a more attractive face/build.

Hinoka - Because I like her tomboyish outside appearance mixed with the weak and vulnerable side that we've seen of her (when she's crying into Kamui's chest).

Leon - Because I like his overall appearance and what seems to be a cold and calculating personality.

Sakura - Because, well, I liked her dress more I suppose, honestly the little sisters almost seem identical to me from what we've seen so far of them so it's a bit hard to decide on this one.

Wow, I'm a bit surprised by myself considering I'm siding with Nohr first. Huh, well it doesn't matter, as long as I have Cyrus in the end I'm happy. <3

  16. FE is riddled with nonsensical and flashy fighting though, I mean just look at any of the old GBA games or PoR/Radiant Dawn (especially Radiant Dawn). Honestly I don't mind it too much, I do think it's weird how Kamui holds their sword considering the length of it but if I liked PoR despite the fact that Mia could wield a blade in one hand that was larger than her well, then I have no room to judge.

  17. I was playing Roy earlier today, I like him a lot, a lot more then I did in Melee anyway. To me he feels nothing like Marth, especially since Marth's moveset changed a little since Brawl and Roy's is more like Melee with some touch-ups. Overall I'm happy they added him in, there's still the dlc character from the poll though isn't there? I think they're picking that one towards the end of the year. October 3rd I believe so I think people are getting upset over nothing. Last time I checked a lot of people wanted characters like King K. Rool (Donkey Kong), Banjo Kazooie (which they probably couldn't do 'cause Rare is owned by Microsoft), Isaac (Golden Sun), Shovel Knight and Inkling (though considering the trophies being added and mii outfits and all it seems unlikely).

Anyway, regarding the Amiibo I'm a bit stressed out as I feel the need to find the other FE amiibo before the launch of 'If'. Hopefully when it comes to the U.S. Nintendo will ship out some more of them. I do hope that they make Roy's amiibo compatible though, considering he's one of my favorite lords next to Ike.

  18. A bit late but I came upon a revelation, so I heard some speculation that Aqua's glowing necklace has a dragon stone in it which is the reason it is glowing in this scene. My guess is that your first encounter with Aqua is when you first learn of your powers to transform, this encounter is (probably) the scene in which she is singing next to the river and turns around surprised to face you. You probably talk for a bit or perhaps it's part of a larger scene that plays out and then leads you to go berserk as the stone calls out to you and brings forth your powers, powers which you can't fully control. Perhaps you (or Garon) has always known about your powers and dragon stone was prohibited from being within your reach because of your tendency to go berserk, however something happens this time during this encounter with Aqua that enables you to control it, or at least calm down from your rage-induced frenzy. The main reason I think that this is all part of the same scene is because it appears to happen underwater but the only thing that conflicts with that theory is the fact that she speaks to you when this happens, so I'm not really sure, it could be some sort of telepathy I suppose or just 'magic' but I don't know. But yea, that's my little revelation I came to, whether or not any of it is true well, we'll just have to wait and see. xD

  19. I have a physical copy, which means that all of my save data is stored on the cart. So how would this mechanic work?

Some forms of data are stored on the system itself rather than the cartridge such as spotpass data and the like. They could do something with that possibly.

Personally I wouldn't mind if there was such a mechanic included in the game but I have no idea how they'd implement it. Like would it be giving you a few starting bonus items? Some extra cash? Chrom (lol)? I mean what would make sense in this context? I can't imagine it being that much of a significant bonus, otherwise they'd run the risk of pissing off potential buyers/newcomers who feel like they're getting gypped out of a full experience.

  20. I want info. on:

Supports - are there romantic supports and if there is are there any LGBT supports

The blue-haired maid, Setsuna, glasses guy, Crimson, Asama and the Nohr shape-shifter

Different/new classes, especially promotions that we don't yet know about, maybe a tree of sorts

    The rest I'm not sure
