Looking at the votes on Maria's wagon, though, I think the only one I'm iffy about is Rumor's vote because it feels like an overreaction. No issues with Cagney's vote. Captain's is also fine. Hilda and Werner's were in response to Maria's hilariously bad case on Hilda, so I can at least understand that. That said ... There's a lot and I haven't actually gone back and reread D1 yet, so if I forget to reply to or mention something I apologize in advance. Just shout at me and I'll get to it. So, first off I see that Hilda's doing stuff. That's ... honestly a lot more than I expected out of them this phase. I wouldn't flip my read on them entirely, but they are a lot lower on my priority list. As to their actual content ... I don't have a problem with them not having a definite read on me yet since we were basically pissing each other off all of last phase. I know they don't seem to express suspicion of Matchstick currently, but I would like to know if the only thing about Matchstick that bothered him was the case on me. Also are you Greencapps lol As for Matchstick, one thing that I really didn't like from them last night was that they seemed to be making too big out of a deal of some of my posts and actions like they were the scummiest thing ever. Basically, blowing things out of proportion. That still doesn't sit very well with me, but I'm willing to attribute some of that aggression to not being in a good mood. What I do want to know is how they feel about me (and my replies to them) now, and if I am still their primary scum read who their secondary scum read is and why. Rumor just ... doesn't look any better than before. They give off this air of not efforting as much as they could, while trying to put in the least amount of effort while still looking like they're trying? If any of that made sense. It bothers me that I really can't tell who they think is scummy (besides Maria). In their reads post, it doesn't sit very well with me that they only have one person they call outright scummy, while the next scummiest person is still only "null scum", one who essentially had a barely existent D1. I'm fine with my vote on here. Also I keep thinking you're Manix, but I swear I'm not letting this affect my read on you The interactions between Maria and Rumor are a bit ... weird. Maria's initial post that mentioned Rumor felt more like a noncommittal read. I'm not even sure what the point of bringing up Kahl's vote on them was if all they had to say about it was "in a vacuum it looks bad but it makes sense so I don't have an issue with it". That said, Rumor's jump on Maria seems like a bit of an ... overreaction? And then stuff about "I've been defending you," and "you can't be defending me if you're okay with my lynch"? Something about this feels kind of artificial. It doesn't feel like a town-town argument, it feels like there's at least one scum between these two. Or even both. Maria herself, uh ... I'm not really impressed. Who do you think is scum? If you feel like Sally's post is bad and had scum intent, is she scum? If you thought Wally could be scum, then why didn't you vote him then? I really don't like their case on Hilda because in an anonymous game, you cannot be 100% sure who is who. Even if you accidentally found out someone's identity, it's not something that should be used against them because other players may not know for sure or have any reason to believe you. Second, just because Hilda has a similar play style to the player in question, if Hilda is not that player (and you can't say for sure they are), then comparing their play styles means nothing. Honestly, this is the scummiest thing Maria has done because it feels like instead of bringing up an actual case on Sally or Wally they're going to point to player meta to say that Hilda's play is scum. It's lazy, and not convincing. And yes, it is that bad. I don't want to vote here because last I checked they were still at L-2, but I think they just went up in my priorities. Sally's, um ... well. If you feel like scum is trying to jump Maria's wagon, then which votes on Maria do you feel are the scummiest? I mean, yeah, not all of the people voting them can obviously be scum along with her. So which ones are the worst? There's just ... something about the way they worded things that doesn't really sit well with me. I think it's that they state they don't feel good about the wagon, but make no effort to try to say which votes they think are bad. I forgot that Baroness existed until like, now. Have they posted at all this phase? Okay, I've been cut repeatedly while drafting this post and it's getting really long. I'll probably have more to say later.

Wow, holy fuck Maria is already at L-2 this early into the game. Could we a bit more careful to make sure we don't get someone to L-1 or even accidental hammer before the first 24 hours of the game? Something about how fast that wagon built up is a bit unsettling, but I'm not done rereading so give me some more time.

I didn't say that to shut down Matchstick's line of inquiry. I said that because if I laid out all my cards on the table, right now, the only people who'd still want to lynch me are either scum or dumb. There is a reason why I said what I did -- I'm not going to spell it out for you, but I'm sure you can figure it out if you care enough. Don't expect to see too much from me until much later today, I'm really tired.

My Werner read change is because: 1. He came back and explained the thought process on his vote and outright admitted to it being an RVS breaker. 2. I got over being pissed off with him and actually thought about whether I thought his early actions (and latest post) were scummy. And I decided that no, they were not actually all that scummy. I'm not dodging anything, I literally just did not think of to respond to that. There's nothing more about it. Stop freaking the fuck out and trying to paint my every single action as scummy. If you're in such a bad mood even now, get off the Internet and take a break. If you piss me off, then I'm not holding back anything I may say.

I went back to the beginning of the game when that exchange happened, and the "in my defense" comment was not referring to calling out Werner for disappearing. What I was blaming on being sick was not noticing the amount of time that had passed since Werner's post and the one right after his -- which I can see why people misinterpreted, but it's not a lie. And then when I felt less shitty I went back and compared timestamps, because I hadn't thought of doing so earlier. Either way, it's pretty much making a mountain out of a molehill. In other words we're both assholes. This was a completely pointless post!

Matchstick: I'm not getting lynched this phase, or any other phase, and I have good reason to believe that. To just reply to things as I can begin to even process them: 1. I don't know what I'm supposed to have even lied about 2. Already explained why it felt like an OMGUS, and because you don't seem to have gotten it I didn't think it was an OMGUS before I realized they were voting each other. 3. I can still be too sick to properly digest a mafia game, but not sick enough that I have to stay in bed sleeping most of the day. Sure wish I had the time to sleep all day, though. By this logic, if you're so irritated at things both in and out of the game it's showing in the game, then you shouldn't be posting in the game. 4. Something tells me you didn't actually quite read through the rest of my posts. Didn't want to lynch Rumor at that time because I hadn't properly reread them yet, had less of a definite opinion on Maria than other people I felt less comfortable about, and I have literally no idea what you're trying to say about the vote Hilda? Sally was at the time a "so far not bothered by their content but need to read further into them", along with some basic questions.

No deaths, huh? I'm happy about that, but partially disappointed since it also suggests we don't have a vig. ##Vote: Rumor Honeybottom Let's start off with this. As pointed out by Kahl at the end of D1, Rumor just doesn't seem to have scum reads. They have a couple of town reads, including one or two they felt confident on, but it also didn't feel like they were actively scum hunting. The fact that they had their vote on Captain, their RVS vote, for the majority of the day phase even when they came back after RVS -- and never actually voted their main scum read or even removed RVS vote until Kahl pointed it out, makes me feel like this slot is scum. Gives off the vibes of not putting in as much effort as they could be while still trying to look like they're doing a lot. (I'm also trying not to be biased by meta, because I suspect who the player is, but even without meta my point still stands.) Would also be fine lynching Hilda, for reasons stated last phase which have not changed, especially since it feels like we don't have a vig. Baroness is fine for now, I'm getting a better feeling about them after their exchange with Captain. I haven't had a chance to read on Sally yet at all, I will hope to do that later this phase. Wally Warbles's one content post was good, but I do expect them to exist for more than once a phase. It's hard to get a good read on them when they literally have one post of content late in the game (and I didn't even realize they existed). Matchstick and Maria I will look into more depth as soon as I can. Matchstick, I just don't get a good vibe from them and I find their content unmemorable, so I want to make sure I get a good opinion on them.

I did read your Sally case, I just can't really dissect your case in context of Sally's actions right now. Also that assumes all scum listen to their buddies yelling at them to do stuff, lol. That said, I still don't get a good feeling from his inactivity.

Oi, he may not be the scummiest in the game, but I still find his indecisiveness and lack of presence for the majority of the game scummy enough to lynch.

I'm not up to lynching Sally today, I just don't have to energy to reread her posts for the sake of deciding whether I want to turbo her over the other possible lynch options. Maria, while I wouldn't be completely opposed to their lynch, is a much lower priority than either Djimmi or Rumor for me so I'd rather lynch there when the latter two are still an option.

Anonymous games just tend to be more aggressive in general, probably because everyone is hiding behind a fake name. Me, personally? I don't enjoy getting trolled by passive aggressive players that I'd love to say more about but can't because I've been requested to keep things civil.

I've already said I'm not interested in lynching Werner at all and I'd be fine lynching Djimmi.

Okay, Kahl, I think I see what you mean about Rumor -- most of their early quote wall didn't really have a lot of scum hunting, it seems like they commented a lot on stuff that had happened but aside from saying it was town didn't really say who they thought was scum. From what I can tell, their main suspect is Matchstick, but it is weird they didn't vote for Matchstick either. Kind of reads a bit ... not lazy, per say, but not as motivated, I guess? Both Rumor and Cagney came in together so I think I read them as a unit, not as two individual players, so my being okay with Cagney kind of extended to Rumor. I suppose I wouldn't have a problem lynching Rumor either, although I'm not 100% sure I'd still lynch them over Djimmi. Let me mull on that a bit longer. I'd like anyone who's here right now to say who they'd prefer to lynch between Rumor and Djimmi. Let's at least agree we're not lynching Werner today, and I'd rather not be lynched today either. That's one tradition that can fuck off.

I mean, I don't necessarily disagree with you that Djimmi's lynch is going to give no associative reads and it's not the best option. But I'm not lynching the other leading wagons, and it doesn't seem like anyone has an interest in changing the wagon either. Kahl, your vote is on Rumor. If they're the one you'd rather lynch on D1, then convince me. Why is Rumor a better lynch than Djimmi?
