  1. Sort of here, mostly feeling like shit. Theoretically I should be around to check the game up until deadline, but I'm not going to be doing full detailed analyses or multiple rereads because reading certain people's posts is just making me angry. PEDIT: Dammit stop pinging me We're six hours before phase end, and our wagons are basically Djimmi leading with three, and Werner, Rumor, and myself all tied for second wagon with two votes. What the hell is this. Of these four options, I'm happiest to lynch Djimmi. I'm just not really happy with his content, and lack thereof. They haven't returned after being prodded, and their ED1 stuff was lackluster even for ED1. Aside from their vote on Werner, I think pretty much everything else they said about players was noncommittal and "it can go either way". Not lynching Werner, I don't find him scummy anymore. I'm really don't have a problem with Rumor yet, so I don't feel as good about lynching them. And fuck lynching myself -- even if I want out of this game, it'd just be a phenomenally stupid idea. Don't have an issue with the Captain. Their posts are reasonable and seem townish enough. Feeling a bit iffy on Matchstick, but that's mostly because they feel unmemorable and aside from their vote on Werner I couldn't tell you what they thought of anyone else. Wouldn't lynch Cala before several other people. I'd like to hear from Baroness before saying anything else about them, since I'd already stated my current thoughts on them. Naturally, since my vote is on Hilda, I'd like them lynched the most but I'm not sure I'll get any support on that. Sally's previous post made me realize I might have an idea who Hilda is. I'm trying not to let this get in the way of my opinions, since I could be wrong, but if they are who I think they are then I don't think their stubbornness is a town tell. It's non-alignment indicative, and could be coming from scum. Will consolidate on Djimmi if the current wagons do not shift.
  2. I'm going to bed. I'll most likely be here around deadline, but I can't promise that something may not come up. Regardless, I'll be around before phase end either way.
  3. You're being ridiculously unhelpful, essentially saying you're not going to play, and dismissing the effort of people who actually care about the game. How is this not a reason for me to get frustrated? Are you trolling?
  4. Then why the fuck are you even playing this game Seriously. This is fucking awful. Why the fuck should I just "give up" when I'm plainly being told that you're not going to participate in the game. Why should we keep you around with that attitude?
  5. Oh, right, I was also going to comment on Baroness, who seems to have disappeared. Considering there was something I wanted them to answer, and a reread made me less okay with them, this doesn't sit well with me.
  6. Is it sad that I didn't notice until reading the most recent posts that Djimmi has been absent since the early stage of the game? (Or that Wally Warbles was a character/player in this game?) Sally: Don't think I have much of a problem with them so far (their most recent post confused me for a bit, though). I need to ask, though: is Werner your strongest scum read right now? Your vote is still on him, and I get that you didn't like his emphasizing the RVS-break as a town move, but is he the one you want lynched most right now? I just don't seem to get very much conviction behind your vote right now. Djimmi: Thought that their ED1 stuff was inoffensive, if kind of short. And now I notice that he ... really hasn't done much since the first half of page 3. Vote on Werner and an explanation why, very noncommittal comment on Captain, and a bit of a flip-flop on me. Also another noncommittal comment on Dr. Kahl. Yeah, I'm not too happy with this slot here. Wouldn't mind lynching. Maria: I can't say the empty unvote bothers me as much as it does other people here, but I'm not really sure why they did it to begin with. I'm just not sure what to say, I felt good about this slot at first, but actually reading them again I'm not sure why I felt that way. They seem to have less reads that I recall, and most of it seems to be on Carnation and Rumor, the former of whom they unvoted despite apparently not completely dropping suspicion. Low priority. Also: I'll need to look into this later, when I can be arsed to reread again. Werner: Still peeved at them, but not a priority anymore. Null-town. Hilda is still bad and their absence doesn't make me feel any better. Vote stays.
  7. I am scum reading Hilda. That is why I'm voting them. There's a difference between new players not knowing how to give opinions, and new players giving excuses to not give opinions. Hilda falls into the latter. I don't buy that they read through three pages and absolutely nothing stood out to them. The comment about "this is a Prims game" is because people have an annoying habit of letting new players slide with weaker content, or a reluctance to believe that mods would roll (many) new players as scum. Reading through the thread again. Some things that I'm noticing now that I didn't yesterday: - Baroness really does seem nitpick more than I remembered. I may have mentioned this briefly, but their asking Djimmi about Captain's vote and how they're voting the same person (and then getting me involved by saying my vote was similar to Djimmi's, what do I think about him) and overall just semantics stuff makes me feel like they're focusing too much on things that don't matter and it's distracting. Maybe trying to make too big of a deal out of something that may be nothing. Right now, I'd say that I feel slightly worse about them than I did before. I kind of suspect I know who Carnation and Rumor may be, and I'm trying not to let that bias taint my reads. I can't really say that I have a problem with either of them right now, don't have an issue with Carnation's vote switch either. I sort of agree that Matchstick does also feel a bit "under the radar", since for the most part I remember them posting but can't really recall what they've actually done (I'm probably not one to talk, but shrug). Will probably return with more thoughts on other players in the game later in the day. Unfortunately I'm not all that better and the headache is just as sucky.
  8. Fair enough, but they seem more interested in not giving opinions. The level of effort (or lack thereof) they're putting in says more than their lack of opinions.
  9. This is a Prims game. New people are not exempt to being scum, especially after that all-new players scum team. Okay, I actually misread your post and thought you said you didn't find anyone else overly suspicious because you were keeping my vote. That was my misinterpretation. But that just brings up the new question: WHY didn't anything stick out to you? Why didn't even one thing cross your mind? What do you think about Werner, and all the people who were voting him, and discussions on people who were voting him that crop up? Do you think what Werner did was scummy or noteworthy in any way? The fact that nothing stuck out to you at all, even if you may be new, is really concerning. Also, I don't think you know what an OMGUS is. It's not just voting the person who voted you. If you don't understand terms, you shouldn't use them.
  10. Okay, so first off: when people keep on asking me about my vote on Werner then it's kind of hard to not keep on explaining it. Second of all, did you miss the part where I said I literally cannot parse anything in the thread and won't talk about anything I can't understand? I'm not asking people to give me a pass because I'm sick. But don't act like I'm not talking about other things for no reason. If you don't believe I'm too sick to read properly, or think it still looks bad, then say that. Don't be all "he should talk more about other people" like I haven't already said why I haven't done so. ##Vote: Hilda Berg Really? This is such a lazy reasoning. If you're going to say you don't think anyone looks overly scummy so far, then at least state why you find me scummy or any thoughts that do stick out. Reads like lazy parking of RVS because that person's getting a bit of heat and they don't want to actually make a proper read.
  11. Holy shit, I did not realize Werner was already at L-1 ##Unvote I'm going to sleep.
  12. FFS, how many times have people complained about purposefully acting scummy to get out of RVS. Maybe one day people will stop doing this and fucking over other people's reads. Not to mention that once the deed is done "it was just a reaction test" is literally a reason anyone can give at that point in the game. Yes, a game being inactive after 24 hours is a bad thing. This game is also difficult enough to follow without someone purposely fucking around with my reads. Also, I've ditched games with nary a word as scum before. I've seen other people do it as scum before. It's a valid strategy, and not as graspy as you seem to believe it is.
  13. Well clearly I'm having trouble with this reading thing right now otherwise I wouldn't have asked in the first place.
  14. I'm trying to read through the thread again, and the main thing I've gleaned from it is that Matchstick's vote on Kahl doesn't seem to have a discernible reason. Or at the very least, I can't find it. Why is Matchstick voting Kahl again? Will probably need to reread Kahl as well, I just find myself skimming over their post.
  15. I didn't realize until now that this was apparently a thing. I don't get what the point of saying you like who I voted, but not the vote itself is. Either way, you have a problem with my vote so why does the first part even matter? Also, your whole "Djimmi and Captain were voting Werner but for different reasons" and "Beppi's vote was similar to Djimmi's so it looked like sheeping" is kind of reaching. Sometimes, people will independently find the same person scummy for similar (or even the same) reasons, and we'd just broken out of RVS. It wasn't like there was a plethora of interactions to look at. I get that my not posting thoughts on the rest of the game at the time could be seen as suspicious. But I didn't give my reasoning for my Werner vote just to have it be dismissed for being sheepy. For the record, I don't find you scummy for the time being, but this just feels like Grassbridger-esque nitpicking.
  16. Being sick isn't my answer for pushing Werner as vanishing. Being sick is why I'm not reading through the thread again at this point to see if anything else sticks out to me. Werner's vote comes off as an OMGUS because saying that Sally was obscuring their post with RP is already stretching it. I'd have likely considered it as an attempt to break out of RVS, Elie-style. But with Sally having voted Werner, it just felt like an overreaction to an RVS post. It just doesn't feel like a joking RVS overreaction to me, it feels like it's trying to start something. The "scum intent" in being excited to start and then leaving is that they can say that they contributed by breaking out of RVS, and their comment just feels a bit like someone trying too hard to give "I meant to break RVS all along" vibes. I also understand that sometimes people have to leave in a hurry, and admittedly I didn't look at time stamps when I made the initial post. But I did look at timestamps now, and the next post after their "now we can do something productive" post was only about twenty minutes. If I don't assume that Werner disappeared for RL reasons, being eager to start and not being around when discussion starts shortly afterwards just doesn't look great.
  17. Tried to read through the thread. No one else or nothing else really sticks out past the headache and stuffy nose. I'm having a hard time really comprehending anything right now, so if you want me to read through the thread again you'll have to wait until I'm feel less like shit. Until then, I'll just point out what actually strikes me as off.
  18. Kahl and Captain: It's just something that struck me as odd. Werner's vote against Sally seemed pretty dumb to begin with, but it took me a while to realize that Sally had also voted for him. That in addition to their next post altogether just feels weird. I'm not saying voting against someone who voted you is always an OMGUS, but just the way that it was done felt like it to me. As for calling them out for disappearing when it's only been an hour ... in my defense I'm really congested right now and don't want to be here and I'm having a hard enough time keeping track of who is who with all these strange names. Either way, unless they come back and explain they had to leave without any notification, it always feels weird when someone is like "cool, now we can get started" and then vanishes without saying they need to leave.
  19. I don't have a problem with their vote. It would've been nice if they'd explained their vote a bit more initially, but I don't see it as scummy.
  20. ##Unvote ##Vote: Werner Werman Their vote on Sally rubs me the wrong way. Not so much that they blamed RP for trying to obscure a point, but it feels very reactionary, kind of like an OMGUS. Also, when voted by Captain says "we can do something productive now". And then promptly disappears. Comes off as someone who's trying to back off a suspicious post in a "that was just a reaction test" kind of way but doesn't actually stay for discussion.
  21. I don't know the game, I don't know this character, so I'm not going to even bother roleplaying. ##Vote: Hilda Berg Because Hilda is a terrible character. Worse than Sonia, even.
  22. Rip me: Insert scene of Kratos saying goodbye to Lloyd.
  23. Bout 20 minutes left is he at L-1 so we can safely hammer?
  24. You know with how Faye has been playing I feel they want to get lynched and I'm gonna guess vengeful.
  25. Yeah he mentioned hitman there, but I don't see any mention of him mentioning Vengeful?
