tl;dr I don't think they thought Batter was vengeful, and their gamble did not succeed. And I think toshio bringing up the phantom vote implicates him. Anyway, how are your thoughts coming along Nagito?

Pedit: Toshio Case before definite gg happened: To elaborate, here's what I think happened: 1)Gameplan on Beast sub in was to make as much noise as possible and 'bus' toshio before jumping to lynch-bait (me). Part of this would've been at the end of the post Toshio linked Beast voting the Questionably ethical doctor. 2) Beast screws up but doesn't notice that he didn't vote Toshio. He claimed to have shotgunned the whole thread, so assuming he did, he would've known that his prior self had no vote d3. We can assume he thought he voted because of the unvote marks. 3) Ouma townreads beast. This is important. 4) The ML on Endeavour goes off. 5) Scum nightkill batter. Why? Because they know he's not a power role assuming Toshio is telling the truth, and they most likely realize he's going to go hard on beast if left uncheck. They do not kill ouma because she is townreading beast and thus more likely to defend him on Mylo the next day. 6)Batter shoots Beast. Gaston wins this game is unranked ie scum's plan falls apart. 7) Toshio not aware of the lack of the Beast vote cites it as Wifom.

And to clarify about why Ouma being 11th or 12th is impossible, Crowler, the Town Mayor Wannabe, was 10th. Preaching to the choir, but hey, may as well entertain myself.

That's impossible. Ouma would've had to have been 11th or 12th in order if someone went 6,1 with her. We know 9,10 were not dupes.

That combined with, like I said, it looked like Beast bit off of toshio's reads. Any objections to going after Toshio first?

easy game easy life. I had a post about how beast's unvote and Toshio's misunderstanding was a scumslip but this makes it a 1v1.

The fact is, if you look at votals, Beast wasn't voting anyone at the time of his vote on me. So, why did he unvote?

I still think Toshio is suspect especially after he 180'd right onto me over the other 3 when I tried to get him to claim on L-1. Another thing that bothers me but might be able to be explained away is this: Now toshio, in his defence, did point out the post where he thought Beast voted him, and truth be told, it could be a misunderstanding. Here's the part that's interesting. Take a look at the post Beast made when he cased me: Does something seem out of place to you?

Funny I was just thinking about that. So you think the D1 Rick/Ouma was more likely to be faked than Mello's incident and Omar's play? I'm at a crossroads because I still can't shake suspicion off of Toshio right now.

OK, that does check out. I'm just puzzling at pick order right now, because for Toshio to be second and Nagito to be 3rd, 4th would've had to have had 2, 1+.Which makes sense, I guess. I'm probably overthinking it.

I think the role gets NKed regardless if it's town-aligned. Assuming I know it exists. Re: tier list: You literally poed me yesterday so I didn't move up the list at all apparently. Not feeling like moving this vote tbh, but I want to see what @Omar Little and Mello think.

Actually that's not entirely true, there's another reason why they could want to hit vengeful. They could hope for a misfire and then amn it when town probably NLs for potential MYLO. Then, on Lylo, they bus the amn and win. It's risky, but if they pull it off it's near-autowin. 4/2 becomes 3/2 becomes 3/1 which then goes to 2/1 because Vengeful which then goes 1/1 NK.
