  1. when I mentioned scenarios I still don't like his play.
  2. oh I am bad Ok, Kratos is probably clear then as I said
  3. I didn't see any sort of numbers but I just figured this is close enough to 15 that if you figure a third of the village is anti-town/ we'd have 5 members of that. IE 9/4/1 isn't much different from 10/3/1 or 10/4/1. Slightly more scumsided but this is a low power setup to begin with before drafts and you have to factor in doctor/hooker interference.
  4. @The Batter What do you think about Komaeda's flip on Omar? (hi Nagito you cut me) I agree that Faye is Lynch priority one today assuming they don't put one hell of a defense up. That being said, voting her at this point isn't going to really add pressure and talking about it is treading water along those lines imo Re: Mello, I think the major stumbling block is again the page 14 debacle since I don't see scum ccing that since if they think crowler's lying then he must be wolf ftpov in which case I don't think scum, knowing they have a strongman, would try and lynch him on day 1, when the wolf has yet to do anything. It's depriving them of a kill source so to speak.
  5. Ok, reread Nagito. My impression is that he was active, but towards the end of day 1, didn't have any strong scumreads outside of Worst Valentine and one that solidified on Crowler towards the end. Maybe mello/Kratos suspicion (IMO). D2, I think my point still stands, but also, @Nagito Komaeda how did you go from which reads as you townreading him, to (Quotes snipped so I might've missed something) Which is weird, especially because you're attacking me on Omar mention when I did that in response to mentions by both you and Beast initially? I don't think anything's changed to prompt that switch. In fact, you yourself said (while casing me) that Insomniac is more likely to be town-sided than not. Shore, that's not a guarantee, but you've done nothing to explain the tide turn so far. Asides: I mentioned briefly that Kratos made a similar error to Mello, but looking at that again, the issues with it are: A)Titania already corrected Mello for the exact same error, specifically explaining that it seemed like a town tell. B) That was a page beforehand and he must have read past it to bring up the perceived contradiction. So this ultimately comes out as a wash at best, tell-wise. Also: feelsbadman
  6. I'm rereading Nagito's posts right now to elaborate on the read but, to talk vaguely on my first I didn't really get a townie or scummy searead from them at the time. Then, when they pointed at Toshio, who I did and sill do townread, I went down the fishing hole, only to find it be much earlier in the phase page-wise, so IMO it doesn't hook damning. Instead, Nagito's vote and accusation hook misleading (sending the town on a fishing expedition), which is where I put my vote afterwards. Still reading but I feel like I should clarify on that point. ***, On Kratos: I don't know how draft played out but weren't the picks put in at the same time, just set at different priorities? That might work against the idea that scum couldn't try to get hitman and doctor at the same time. But Batter's logic holds up that the doctor should have been on Rick, as long as we continue to assume there's a person mafia team. If there's a four person scum, he is not clear, because, well, in that case a scum doctor could've been on another PR. Like an amnesiac, for example. But that is admittedly unlikely. That being said, I don't excuse his play. As multiple people have mentioned ED1, he was overly defensive until the wagon moved off of him and onto greater things, whereupon he is right, he did not disappear as Titania said, but I would also say that during that lull he was hardly impressionable in the way his early content was. Then, there was the Eruption at the end of the day, which notably caught Rick and Nagito in it, which was a massive overreaction. And IMO some of his defenses, such as calling the cases against him weak/terrible (Not using exact quotes but that's the general sentiment), are as weak as a river stream. And there is so much wine in the water around him that the Atlantic is drunk off of it. But he's a doctor claim. So then the previously stated logic by Batter probably applies. I just can't bring myself to like this slot all the same. It would only really make sense if they were a reversed spellcaster who raises the dead, and even then I do not like it at all. So I put him on the bottom of the lynch list, as Faye still exists. *******. On Omar: I decided to comment on him because he was mentioned by a few of the early d2 posts as a possible lynch target today. He is likely clear for a few reasons: 1) He supports Mello's coordinates claim. 2) Scum are unlikely to pick insomniac because it would put on them a burden to produce content, as mentioned previously by someone (I forget who atm). 3)Scum are unlikely to pick insomniac and then miss deadline where they could prove it, as Toshio(?) said. You could call this sloppy but I think a lot of stuff thrown around has been assuming best case. That being said, I included the Lynch if he doesn't prove n2 because claiming insomniac then doing nothing to prove it, while dumb, more importantly wastes the town's time. It might be stating the obvious but given he drew the attention to himself I think it needed to be said. ***** On Faye: The slot is being actively unhelpful, Nagito. I don't know how else to put it, the first post has been found to be fishy by virtually everyone including my alter ego, and that second post refusing to cooperate after the sub in makes her the obvious lynch. If they're townie they're LVP at this point. Again, she should be lynch priority 1 today for right now but there's no point to pressure voting them right now.
  7. when I say that, I think the claim by K was after pressure was applied, so it was a form of survival strat. Crowler would be a better comparison, though he more just plain subbed out.
  8. A barn isn't exactly the most exciting place to hide in. The depths of electronic ocean, on the other hand, are quite entertaining. Re: Hopeless: The vote/unvote sorta washes away since it was policy. Your other point is you don't sea scum diving in so early? I can sea where you're going but he had about a half-hour window to compose himself before setting sail on that particular voyage. In addition, it could very well be cover to avoid a back-to-back scum drownings. Null for right now. Re: Endeavour part: claiming vanilla isn't exactly the best survival strategy. Sea: Kratos. I get that scum can sometimes provide information but I don't think this claim was calculated/focused, like a jet-spray of information if that makes sense. It was more like a sprinkler, scattered, IMO. Beast has stepped up like I said so it's Faye> Nagito > Kratos on my lynch navigation.
  9. Ok, that is content, so while I disagree on a lot of it I'm going to drop you for the moment, Beast and eat my humble pie. Go take a nap, your kingdom will still be here in the morning. Here's a semi-updated claimslist, for reference. Correct it if I make a mistake, please. Draft #/ Player/Roleclaim 1 Mercenary Kratos, Doctor ? The Batter ? (pre-10) Kokichi Ouma, Mayor ? Nagito Komaeda ? Lapis Lazuli ? Faye Valentine ? Beast ? Toshio Ozaki 9. Endeavor, Vanilla 10. Dr. Crowler, Town Vanilla - Lynched Day 1 ?? Titania Andersen, Vanilla Serial Killer - Killed Night 1 ?? Rick, Mafia Vanilla - Killed Night 1 13/14 (?) Omar Little, Insomniac 13/14 (?) Mello Missing Roles: Vengeful (Pre-9), Strongman, ???
  10. Sure, but along those lines, wouldn't it make him be more likely to be town?
  11. Beast, if you're still here, what about the insomniac claim by Omar?
  12. @Toshio Ozaki Experimenting on your own wife is hardly necessary. I'm referring with that bit to Omar thinking Kratos is clear because he made a mistake (P15) with regards to coordinates in line with the one Mello made a page earlier (P14). I actually read your bit and adapted it. To be clear I don't remember exactly why I brought Omar up except for there was a few name throws of him by Beast/Nagito/someone else around the time I started writing that wall + the insomniac thing really reminded me of kirsche last game in that it was a long post semi-invalidated by phase end. He was a topic of discussion so I mentioned him, is the tl;dr. Re:beast logic: Beast Logic is that they're not active-lurking in a scummy way? Not trying to misrepresent it, but I don't think I was calling them on activelurking. Actually my sentence didn't parse because I'm bad what I meant to say is that it was like they were avoiding those reads until semi-prodded because the 'not wanting to view things in absolutes' post pinged me because that's sometimes code for 'I'm going to float' and I've been cut get back to you on this one in a second. Other logic is nagito? please clarify. I think Endeavour is clear because if he was scum he could've tried to force a protective CC/vengeful claim and then have the strongman whack them. How vanilla plays into this is that he is volunteering information about the actual setup by claiming that, something which scum wouldn't want to do. I don't see what benefit scum would have by lying about vengeful existing in-game, is what I'm saying in other words.
  13. barnacles didn't mean to press submit but I mean that's on page 6 of the 17 page d1 if it was on like 9-11 or so I would say that's mid-day but that is still ed1 IMO. The portrayal of it without that in mind makes me think that it was during the building wagon on Crowler in which case yes, Nagito would be absolutely right that hooks bad. With it in mind, asking about the scumread and whatnot just strikes me as the state of the game moving along as opposed to anything sinister. Which in turn calls into question why Nagito framed it the way he did.
  14. Mello, if you don't sea anything about my former shellf that points townie, why aren't you voting me?
  15. this is a message from Lord Nergal my former self: ~I wasn't voting for her for flaking. Voting for someone for flaking is scummy but I'm voting her because I think she is scum~ Ok, that was relayed, time to actually play this draining game. I was going to vote Kratos because I think his Judgement is suspect and reactions were Grave, to say the least. I don't like in particular where he says mello's attempt to force a cc on crowler is null since that only serves to muddy the waters around that back and forth at best, and at worst it's drenching Mello in suspicion, especially. Technically he is right but in a low-info game like this, I don't think especially given Mello's reaction after the coordinate reveal that it was a scum move to do. Then the overreaction at low tide happened, which didn't help things. I don't think anyone wants to deal with that Light Spear. And with that in mind, I was going to go from there to put a vote on him. But then the doctor claim swam in. Batter has a point about scum meta but more to the point I don't sea the harm in letting him get nightkilled tonight. Given our site's track record on doctor lynches, better to be safe than sorry this early on (D2 when we know strongman has been used), even if they smell like seaweed and are cosplaying inferior beings. I'm reluctant to go after Omar because if his claim is true he's almost guaranteed clean assuming 10/3/1 (I think that's the numbers Batter's assuming with the Kratos != Mafia). That being said, I don't agree with the Kratos inno on mistake made because I think he had room to realize the error where Mello's is different because it's more a shellfless 'counterclaim'/commotion stirring rather than a shellfish one. ie Mello is putting himself at risk by posting the coordinates because, assuming he didn't make the error, it's him vs crowler in terms of wagons. Kratos pointing out a supposed error doesn't put as much risk onto him, as in that case it would be Mello Vs Endeavour Vs Crowler. Again doctor claim is in play so that's kind of a wash as a whole, but I don't see it as inherently townie/scummy so to speak. IMO give Omar another night phase and policy if he doesn't deliver on a night post, mechanically speaking. Game-wise I don't find him too bad. ##Vote: Nagito Komaeda. Saying that the Rick/Toshio interactions are in the middle of the day is Super Highschool Level hopeful thinking at best and I think the 'are you even still my scumread' was still about a third of the way in. The wording makes it seem a lot closer than it really was to present day, so it does not look very promising. Do you have more recent interactions to point to wrt Toshio/Rick because those aren't convincing to say the least. After Nagito I want to take a look at beast because while it is okay to not have strong reads I think locking yourself in your castle with no strong reads and a shrug I think endeavour is clear at this point given 3 vanilla flips but I hope he speaks up more. Lynch faye if she doesn't provide much more than what she has right now at the end of the day. She's had two posts and one of them was outright uncooperative. That being said voting her right now is pointless. Faye > Nagito > Beast > Kratos. I think Toshio, amoral as he may be, is town, as are (Long live the) Supreme Leader and (Hey) Batter (Batter, hey batter, batter, swing). Mello should put the chocolate bar down and post more but I still buy his LD1 actions right now.
  16. I think Faye is scum also I was explaining my thought process what the fuck does that have to do with my current vote are you just looking for a reason to find me scummy without committing to it.
  17. Hey one hour later I think instead of trying to produce content when I know I can't I think I'm going to just unplug for the night. I swear tomorrow I'll actually put out real content that isn't just me answering people or poking at posts. If you have any more questions for me just ping me and I'll answer them tomorrow. I know I haven't addressed everything but I can't concentrate and I need a little more time.
  18. Voting someone for reasons other than you think they are scum is scummy. I mentioned this here in regards to how I felt about Batter's vote on Ouma in RVS. Voting people for "being inactive," "being unhelpful," etc. is pretending to be protown while putting little effort into actually building cases on people you think are scum and that's scummy.
  19. okay okay okay okay okay I'm back. @Kokichi Ouma your tone @ me is frustrating me and I kind of wish you'd cool it. When people act that way towards me it makes me really anxious and not in a game way. I thought you were telling me that you'd asked me if I thought you were scum, because I already answered your question in this post and I thought you would have seen it. at the time I really didn't know! I just had the feeling this might not be town infighting but I didn't know how to express myself so yes I probably came off in the first place like I was waffling super hard and as Batter put it I realize that's a scummy thing to do but I don't think Ozaki is scum right now anymore. I have a cooler head now and if one of Ozaki/Kratos were scum I'd go with Kratos but I can't explain why right now other than I think his content is better. Let me answer these questions first and I'll get back to that.
  20. I don't know when you asked me but I don't think you're scum
  21. I was forcing my scumread on Batter really hard because I started out super reading him as scum, but his content has gotten better. That last post is especially really good. Hold on I really gotta take a break. I'm sorry for the spam posting but something happened outside of the game that's making it hard for me to concentrate. I have notes open in another tab and I'm gonna go back to them when I can play this game better.
  22. This is weird because I wouldn't say we had "minimal material" at this point of the game, and I don't agree with that last point either. I kinda borderline want to vote Mello.
  23. This is a scum post for reasons I explained earlier in D1 when I found Batter scummy.
