  1. I will plan on making Gerome a sorcerer for post-game, since it really seems like the best set. I have a set designed on his giant movement but it really depends on if you want the ability to move twice if you get a kill or the ability to heal via Renewal. Many people say Galeforce though so sadly Kjelle will have to take it. Lon'qu is probably one of the best Dread Fighters in town. Also, inherit Deliverer and Rally Spectrum, they are awesome.
  2. It's one if not the best game series that Nintendo has, and I fricking love competitive play. Who else wouldn't? Anyways, since when did the fliers suck? Wyvern Lords are amazing here just like in FE10 (although not as great) and the Pegasus Knight classes have more variety than ever.
  3. Conquest is an amazing skill, once you get Res.+10 and Limit Break your Ephraim/Walhart will (at least in theory) become an amazing, perhaps almost unbeatable tank. I'm not sure if they would need Sol/Renewal or not but if they do once you wait for DLC Ephraim go get him and start kicking rears.
  4. I don't really know a way to tell tbh, I guess it's one of those chapters that has a huge transition between Hard and Lunatic, which I would expect no less. I think I'm getting to into myself though, I should be expecting a challenge rather than a cake walk, and I'd be an idiot if I didn't.
  5. The majority of the enemies are Wyvern Lords and Griffon Riders, coupled with some Snipers and Swordmasters, right? If that is the case then it seems like the Snipers will be the only major threat since on paper it seems like Lon'qu can just dodge and kill every flier. I suppose it's best if I try it for myself though, things on paper don't ALWAYS work when put to the test. Once I get MUxCherche a from B to S I will be able to try it out for myself. And me still being on Chapter 15 gives me a little bit of time. Since I feel safe to say that MUxCherche is the most optimal choice, I think I should bring this to note since Henry honestly seems like he'd be good if it wasn't for his Speed, which I have attempted to fix, well I think, idk. Oh crap I also just realized I only have 4 more chapters for MU to gain Rally Spectrum in the first place which means 9 more levels. Welp time to MUxCherche duo Sidequest 4.
  6. Gerome would be fine over Morgan right? Waiting until Postgame so I have time to turn her into a wonderful cry supporter with Rally Strength just seems great. Whereas Gerome will have nothing he would NEED to inherit and thus can use him from the get-go.
  7. I guess it's that I I have to give Morgan Rally Strength, which would be almost impossible to do, but it was more like MUxCherche in itself since my Sorcerer set doesn't need Galeforce. Ahh, well. Plus 2 is better than 1, but you might be right.
  8. I heard that Rally Spectrum makes chapter 19 that much easier, so it's really hard and frankly unappealing to just not recruit Morgan and his other child. Also, Dual Support+ is pointless on (my) Gerome, right?
  9. I actually realized that Gerome's caps are very similar to others, so I suppose it doesn't matter in the end that matter. It's either Gerome or Owain for me, and tbh, Owain could probably use the inherited Galeforce when it really doesn't have a good slot on this set. The MAIN problem is with Owain though is that I can't let him inherit Galeforce if I have to obtain him before chapter 19, since Lissa would have to level up 20 more levels and it's safe to say I can't do that in 4 chapters. (Chapter 15-18 and Sidequest 4) I suppose it might be possible to get an S support with somebody else entirely though within 4 chapters, but I really shouldn't pair him with Miriel, Sumia, Cordelia, and maybe Tharja. Olivia is already married though so yeah she's out.
  10. From Chapter 15 onwards, if I were to give Henry 2 Speedwings and pair him up with a Swordmaster, would he be able to catch up? That would bring him up to 21 speed after promotion, incase you're not sure. It seems like a tank would be really beneficial since my MU still has 9 more levels to go before he can reclass to a Sorcerer while gaining Rally Spectrum. Also, while this may seem off-topic at first, but a Sorcerer Gerome with Astra, Tomefaire, Vengeance, Anethema, and Limit Break should work fine for postgame right? The reason WHY I'm asking this here is because this is the exact same file I'm using for my postgame, so if MUxCherche is going to suck then no way in hell am I sticking to it. I do need a pairing though soon since I want to be able to have a child with Rally Spectrum by Chapter 19. Probably asking too many questions on this thread and I apologize, I'll make sure I post something informative once I figure out methods to beat chapters that people find hard past 1-5.
  11. Is Walhart outclassed by the soon to come in a month or two DLC or the other way around? I mean, 8 movement with access to all three of the weapon triangle weapons is great, but at the same time DLC Ephraim has way more class choices. But if both were designed to be broken horse-riding/general tanks. (Res.+10 and Limit Break included) Who would be better?
  12. If a unit has Galeforce, good. If it's not, it's really not a big deal. It seems like many sets don't really need it. Heck, some really useful skill sets don't even require Galeforce, and it wouldn't make them better. Laurent is a prime example of this but even if you managed to get a Sorcerer Gerome or Yarne.
  13. 1. No, just like any other skill. 2. Yes. Perma-death is always active.
  14. It uses the internet, but not wifi. So no online. Just Spotpass goodies which does the job.
  15. These are the ones that I am aware of. ChromxOlivia (Good modifiers and turns Inigo into a godlike unit) Lon'qu/MUxCherche (Offers some good classes and both offer good mods) SullyxGaius (Access to Thief, Wyvern Rider, and Pegasus Knight is nothing to mess with) Lon'qu/StahlxPanne (Both offer good classes and Lon'qu gives a ton of speed) HenryxMiriel (Makes Laurent an insanely good healer but perhaps Ricken is better idk)
  16. I might upload a lolzy video showing this sometime this week, but I found a method to dance abuse Olivia to 30 in Paralogue 13 while saving 2 of the villagers. Since I got Olivia to level 30, should I reclass her? And if so, Dark Flier or Swordmaster? (Those are the best two for her atm iirc)
  17. Got permission to do VirionxPanne. VirionxPanne (CBAS) C B A S
  18. I promoted him at 15. Which is my fault though, seeing as how I promoted Lissa and Lon'qu first, perhaps I should pair MU up with Cherche myself since I bet the boosted range and the fact that if I need to heal somebody I don't waste a turn for MU. I doubt it actually matters though, I think it's just the fact that you basically MU soloed it.
  19. Wait who did you pair MU up with? And how did you manage to get MU to a level 15 Grandmaster and then a Sorcerer so quickly to nosferatank chapter 16? I'm still on chapter 13 (the level itself is easy but the problem for me is that I'm trying to stall it through so I can get Olivia to dance abuse so I can get a decent Lucina and I'm having troubles doing that) and MU is only a level 3 Grandmaster. Then again, I have been using Lissa, Lon'qu, Panne, Frederick, Chrom, and Libra, but the level difference is that huge?
  20. Stick to Hard and then do Lunatic. Lunatic is a fricking mess if you don't get used to the mechanics of this game. Trust me, The Doubling system is unfortunately ABSOLUTELY necessary for Lunatic mode. However, don't be afraid to play Lunatic mode your second play-through, it's fun.
  21. Actually, I don't think it's a complete joke, but this mode was overhyped. I honestly think so far this mode=FE10 Hard Mode, or maybe slightly harder, but not that much harder. Frederick actually stays good for quite a while too.
  22. Gerome works fine. And I haven't played his Lunatic sidequest yet, but on Hard just have a well trained Lon'qu like you should have, a Wyvern Lord Cherche after going from Griffon Knight to a level 15 Valkrie, and trade a Master Seal as well as a Short Axe/Hand Axe to Gerome and you should be good to go.
  23. Prologue is easy, just make sure you use Chrom and MU as much as possible, kill the mages ASAP, and use Lissa to heal as much as possible even if unnecessary. A few posts above already give tips on how to finish the rest of the early chapters, so yeah.
  24. These simply felt more like they were taken off of an anime, and Severa is the red flag for my case but perhaps it has been blatant before and I have ignored it. Anyways, while I will admit I don't like many things about this game, it's still great. I don't think it's worth the extremely high scores but rather an 8/10, since it's still really fun and Postgame is an absolute blast. The game tests your creativity and your strategy skills and that's what I like, especially in Lunatic, even if I don't like the imbalance in between, it's safe to say this is a great buy for RPG fans. Besides I'm the most pessimistic person alive when it comes to certain games.
  25. I honestly doubt and hope that they won't. The doubling system and how this game is designed should only stay here. The system is hardly balanced from my experience and I hope it doesn't become a standard to the FE games to come. Besides, the way this game was designed wasn't Fire Emblem-ish at all. Granted that's mainly due to the artwork and some character personalities but I digress.
