People have no control over the shape of their nose. I think smaller noses look better than "hooked" noses. People don't have control over their natural hair color either, but it's socially acceptable to have preferences by that either. Either the mods here can't edit other people's posts, or they don't know that they have that power.
It's just discretion. If mods edited other people's posts a lot, I'd be reluctant to post knowing that someone's going to fuck with it and possibly change the meaning.

Hey, thanks. I forgot to save this last time I saw it.
That looks like a pretty poor job of photoshopping. In the bottom row, at the third tile from the left, you can see some crappy borders for a ways. Top-left tile has some crappy borders, as do some more tiles in the top row. And some tiles on the left side of the board have crappy borders too. And some tiles on the right side have crappy borders as well. The In Jail tile looks a bit fuzzy....

I'll agree with you that that was kind of a "....wat" event for me, but it sure didn't "completely destroy the credibility of the story." I'm getting the feeling you're using a lot of hyperbole.Yes, as long as it does not completely destroy the credibilility of the story. (i.e. Seeing Jeremiah killing Lelouch's minions was alright, but it turned out completely stupid when directly after that, he pledged his allegiance to him.)

Things usually get worse before they get better; and yes, even if Obama is invading the White House in a little over a week things aren't going to get good in the economy for a while. I'm holding on to the hope that we won't find ourselves in the lows we saw in the Great Depression, but I'm certainly not expecting the economy to improve overnight either. The economy is one of those things that takes a while to repair, you know?
We're already in a recession, though (meaning things have already gotten worse). Do you have any evidence that things are going to get worse still?

Then why talk so confidently about things you're not even sure you understand? >__>Actually I couldn't take the the series seriously after 10 episodes, so I wasn't even trying to understand the characters anymore. :( -
Even if Code Geass' world is slightly different than ours, it's still designed so that people who die should remain dead. Now look at how many people came back to life without any given reasons: Mao, Jeremiah (which is a fine example since he came back to life at least twice [i actually forgot the count]), Marianne, Nunally etc... (I can't even remember them all since it's so common) I seriously hope that they won't bring Lelouch back to life in a third season, because that would just make R2's ending meaningless.
Please, dude. Where do you get off being so sure that the writers had originally killed off Mao, Jeremiah, Marianne, and Nunnaly? How do you know that their perceived deaths weren't planned from the start? It's a common plot device. I hope you don't roll your eyes when paramedics revive someone after their heart stops.

So I wasn't the only one bothered by that. I chalked it up to me being a giant sap or something, but it's true that that was totally out of character for the show--Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann's last few episodes were absolutely enthralling, and the final battle was undoubtedly the most entertaining fight I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing in my time of watching anime.About the only thing that ruins it for me is that in the very last, final few minutes, the creators decided to pull out of nowhere a death for Nia, which led to a marring of what could have easily been on of the most perfect anime endings I have ever seen. It's like they intentionally added the scene to introduce a teary fairwell that was completely unbefitting of the series. You don't utterly destroy the entire reason someone has been fighting AFTER THE FIGHT IS WON.
the other major deaths weren't so unnecessarily cruel.

You could have just been luckier, you know. The way random mode is, just becuase it's there doesn't mean it caused it. On the other hand, there is the very small chance that most of his skill and speed-ups were in that 5% range of the band. Who knows?
Wait a second. Gatrie's skill problems are only due to his weak base. 55% growth means it's going up pretty reliably.
