Heh. Games used to make you replay the last mission over and over after beating the game. They didn't even acknowledge you had beaten the game. Infinite loop of fighting the last boss until you decided to start over. Perfectly acceptable behavior back in the day, but now it's basically a crime against God. Who said there won't be anything after finishing the game? I would be willing to bet quite a considerable sum that post game Nohr will get a world map. Hell, you may even have a world map from the get go, just not have freedom with the map. But I'm 100% certain they want replayability, so there's no doubt in my mind they will have lots of things to do post game on both sides.

You're choosing multiple characters over others... As vincent says. The characters will vary between the versions, you'll likely see both sides characters in the story, but you'll only get to play with the ones of the side you have chosen.

I'm not sure if more restocks will be happening anytime soon, I don't follow those often enough to know details of restocks. I always preorder mine immediately so it hasn't been an issue yet. If nothing else you could probably buy a limited edition off of ebay after the game releases, but those tend to be much more expensive so...

I agree buddy. There's more people who would have no issue with homosexual relationships in games (they already exist in the West all over) than people who do have issues. In Greek Mythology Pegasi were an extremely popular mount for all warriors. Males, females, Satyrs, you name anything with upright feet and a butt and they would have rode one. I'm Greek so warriors on a Pegasus would be a really cool thing for me. Peg Knights with swords though would also be a nice addition. Agile swords make more sense for a Riding unit as fast as a pegasus is. Lances would be harder to swing at such speeds. Though it's a game so it's my own fault for thinking practically lmao. So I'm really hoping for all gender restrictions to be lifted is my main point.

Haha this! I'm hoping if the whole game actually does remind me of a Roman Battle it should be Romans vs. Carthaginians in Ateneo Now THAT would be one hell of a FE battle.

It reminds me of a classical Roman Empire taking over whatever they want to, at least for now. Hopefully there's much more depth than just that, and I'm sure there will be. Just need to wait two more months to find out!

I don't really have high hopes that the characters will be all that complex. We have two sides to a game, and both are full sized games I guess, so they might be taking short cuts to get the game done quicker. I really hope not, but I'm definitely not getting my hopes up too high.

^In most places in Japan it isn't even illegal to discriminate homosexuals in public. There's only a few civil governments that ban discrimination over there, the only ones I can think of is Tokyo and Osaka. But unfortunately it's safe to say that Homosexuals rights, while they do exist in a few places, aren't held in high regard. When I lived in Osaka, one of my cousins was constantly ridiculed everywhere he went for being openly gay. He pressed charges against one guy who was extremely vulgar, and even though in Osaka you aren't allowed to discriminate against gays, nothing was done. Though I guess I shouldn't try to start a political discussion here, and that wasn't my intent, I just felt it was unlikely to see such relationships in the game because of Japans current view on the matter. While unfortunate, it's how it is atm, and sorry if this is something I shouldn't be talking about mods, definitely not trying to start a bickering contest.

Pegasus was the first Pegasi if you will, born when Poseidon wanted to create something beautiful for Medusa, Medusa at the time was not a Gorgon though mind you. Everyone reclassing into everything doesn't make sense, but specific characters who are suitable for the class, whether through personality, body type, etc. then yes, that makes sense and would be a great addition.

Well the only thing I could suggest for Amazon is to have the game sent to a friend in Japan, then have that friend send the game to you. But that can only be done if you have someone you really trust. Some people might try to screw you. Luckily for me I have a cousin who lives in Osaka, so I always send him money and he sends everything to me. Playasia is usually the way to go, you just might not be able to get the limited edition.

I'd guess May's Direct. It's pretty much exactly a month before Japan's release for the game, so it would make sense. If there's nothing in the May Direct, then I'd say we are likely not getting any new info until about a week prior to launch or maybe no more info at all. But most likely there will be info in May's Direct, plus marketing campaigns the whole month following the direct.

No problem :) I've always enjoyed translating things, and FE is my all time favorite series, so this would be the ideal choice to dedicate the time to! Episodes won't be extremely frequent though I warn you, translating takes time. But I'm really hoping to have at least 1-2 episodes a week. Definitely. I'll be making a Let's Play thread as soon as the game comes out and have regular updates regarding translation progress for each episode. As well as grabbing ideas from forum members to make the experience better for everyone here.

Kamui will use the sword because Kamui is a Dark Prince who uses swords, and who also happens to be a manakete. The sword is Kamui's for a reason. Let's find out what that is in a couple months time, not now when we 0 info. edit: let's not forget that the iron bow we saw a thief using had unlimited uses as well, so it's possible that the Yatogami isn't even unlimited uses outside of casual mode let's say. Though very unlikely that it isn't important enough to warrant it having unlimited uses. I see some of you have already caught on to that though.

Importing first, so on my New Model JP XL. I have an eye condition that makes my eyes really bad with computer screens, tv screens, and any sort of screen really.. So I need the biggest screen possible. But I'll likely get a capture card so hopefully I'll be playing it on a 24 inch computer monitor.

And we're assuming that it isn't possible to have more than one page of info screens? It's entirely possible... They've been in every FE Game to date.

Okay, if you buy one version of the game, you only get that side of the game, and have to buy the other side through dlc. I'm assuming when you buy the dlc you can either have the choice available in chapter 6, or when you start a new game have the option to choose your side. And if you buy the edition with both games already on it, you'll just have the choice at chapter 6 like normal. There's going to be a choice for you to choose sides at some point in the game no matter what once you've got both versions obtained.
