Peach can't deal with speed. Falcon destroys her because of this. I don't know how Marcina does against her since approximately six people play her. She offers great movement options with the use of float and also boasts low risk hit confirms from float. In general, dair is the number one attack to avoid, but nair and bair are scary too. Her turnips aren't very scary simce you can plqy with them too or avoid them altogether, as they are slow and don't give much damage if they hit. DO NOT EDGEGUARD HER FROM THE FRONT NEAR THE LEDGE. PARASOL HAS INSANE BKB AND DISJOINT AND WILL STAGE SPIKE KILL YOU AT 0. I miss her wobbling.

marth can use his movement amd down tilt to aggressively rake stage control amd stuff, which is the most important thing at the end of the day, but most of his attacks can be punished if he whiffs. of marth up tilts a shield, it's an easy shield drop punish for the other character.

Pikachu is different since multiple people can get results with him, unlike Zelda. Zelda has few players who get results with her, and the only top player who gave her the light of day was Nairo, who quickly dropped her since she wasn't good enough to beat other top players with (this is also why Nairo rarely plays Robin). Tournament results aren't solely how characters are ranked, either (japan's lists are actually based on this though). Players can look at characters and see what they struggle with and evaluate how well they do against others, usually expressing it in numbers. For example, Sheik vs Ganon is 70-30 in Sheik's favor. This is because Ganon is slow and has a hard time hitting anyone, which only becomes harder against Sheik, who can dodge his attacks easily, throw her attacks out with minimal risk, needle camp him, and destroy him off-stage. Sheik also ironically gets more off stray hits than ganon since she can lead a forward tilt, grab, fair, or almost everything else into a combo that brings Ganon offstage to a point where he can't get back. Ganon has to get about 4 or 5 hits on sheik (sheik will only be hit by ganon's safest attacks) to take her stock, as opposed to Sheik's touch-death on him. Top players are aware of how characters do against each other though thinking about things like this. Their opinions vary, but that's due to how much harder/easier they think certain aspects of different MUs are (like Zero may think Sheik is 80-20 against Ganon because in his exp against other Ganon experts he has that hard of a time landing hits). Rinse and repeat for all the MUs in the game and then rank the characters by who wins the most MUs and you have a tier list. if you actually believe pika is s tier, and you have knowledge of esam's placings with pikachu and pikachu's abilities, then you probably don't understand top level smash or any fighting game tbh. if you don't know, then that's fine. my point was that even if you say something that to someone like any top smash 4 player would be insanely incorrect, it doesn't really matter since you just put your opinion out which you are completely allowed to do. that wasn't my point at all but i don't feel like explaining

if you can't win with a character, then the problem could be that you have no compatability with that character. you can have radical opinions, sure, but pikachu is NOT f tier, and puff is NOT a tier. if pika was f tier, he wouldn't have consistent (i'd underline this word if not for mobile) results. if puff was anything other than garbage, she might have results from a player other than Hungrybox. you should just be honest with yourself when you ask yourself, "is X charavter actualally this good?" if you do, then at the end of the day that's fine and sheik, pika, and other traditional high tiers are still considered high tiers. oh, and anybody should be open to others opinions for stuff like this, since saying "i disagree with you because X" accomplishes nothing and you might as well not have said anything in the first place (unless you never said your opinion before, but again, debating leads to growth which is much more important for anything).

yes. no. most of his attacks have good frame data but terrible properties since they're treated like items, which means you can hit his attack and then hit him. oh, and he's not as dedicated to playing keep-away as in brawl, which is nice. i still dislike fighting him though.
