SSB4: SSB for Wii U and 3DS, maybe the NX and also your toaster!
Comet replied to Shin's topic in Super Smash Bros.
they only compared her to brawl meta knight's usage rates. if you read the rest of the quotes, you'll see that it's not a problem about bayonetta being overpowered (this was meta knight's issue), just annoying to fight in all aspects, which is worsened by the massive amount of people adopting her as either a main or secondary.- 24,957 replies

Which Smash Bros game do you like the most?
Comet replied to Busterman64's topic in Super Smash Bros.
hm, how to say this without starting a fight with our local (you know who you are) melee for having the deepest mechanics and most intricate neutral, as well as hype combos that aren't just air dodge reads (anybody can do that) or footstool applications (anybody can do this too). i'd be less harsh about this but smash 4 has a 10 frame buffer, so it's harder for me to classify anything as impressive. oh well i didn't try. all the smash games are great, i just like melee more for the stated reasons. -

[SSB4] Newer Patch discussion, Mewtwo wins a major tourney
Comet replied to Jedi's topic in Super Smash Bros.
techs have 20 frame buffer, so it's not that hard. that said, gonon can still cover anything, not on reaction though. -

ganon's jab comes out a little bit faster now and has less cooldown (amount of frames after hitboxes go away). wizard's foot has more damage, side b's grab box is larger. all smash games except 64 run at 60 frames per second. i think ganon's jab is now 28 frames long now, which is slightly under 1/2 second. -

if the other person is dumb enough to get hit by a really, really late down aerial, then yes, it combos i thought the only thing about finishing touch that was changed was its knockback growth? i guess that makes confirms into it when it KOs fewer though -

screw this patch. sheik will still be the best and will only tale lonher to kill with. cloud will now camp more and kill later. zss now has wprse damage output, therefore it takes more effort to kill with her despite her already risky moveset. same thing for meta knight (japan found a new kill confirm already, but dair chains definitely won't work on every character). other characters getting minor kbg changes is barely a buff for them at all, it's like giving a homeless person pennies. a few low tiers got relevant buffs like (slightly) improved movement and landing lag, but that doesn't make up for what happened to the high tiers. basically, a step toward brawl. -
Green's Plan to (Hopefully) Improve in Smash 4
Comet replied to CooledEvergreen's topic in Super Smash Bros.
^^^^^^^^^^^ You can find a good player occasionally on For Glory, but Anther's Ladder is much more efficient and better. You can even chat with your opponent about stuff so you can ask for critique and the like. you can ask yourself why you do things, what you think/feel when other people do things, what the opponent wants, what both your goals are, etc... hit up training mode to practice pivots and stuff to incorporate into your game. it'll be hard at first, but you'll gain more options in the long run. -

aside from 2 stocks, i like it. lylat over dreamland is weird as far as i know (or i'm not knowledgeable with what's common), but it makes sense. and quality of staves > quantity. i don't like miis having customs since nobody else gets them. just my two cents. -
this thread was in my dream. i'm unsure of how i should be feeling about that.

for clarity, his acceleration increases, not his weight. the faster acceleration does help him survive longer against vertical knockback, at least. we all know the best part about limit is the faster short hop autocancel up air though. -

ZSS's grab is also fairly bad. @whoever knife was responding to: you weren't even right about what you said about melee, not to mention smash 4.- 24,957 replies
