I'd like one similar to the handheld games where you go around catching and training pokemon and beating gyms and the elite 4. I'd also like to see them all in one game for once
-
Aran's alright. I only use him in part 1, sometimes use him in part 3, rarely use him in part 4. not one of my favourites
-
why is sothe forced for the endgame.
Killer Poleax replied to Fenrir's topic in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
it's pretty annoying how forced he is in this game, especially in part 4. -
Fiona has about the same availability as most of the CRKs and she starts at a much lower level than them Tomahawk and Urvan have the same weight but you can't throw Urvan (still pissed that it doesn't have 2 range like Wishblade) Wishblade is 1 wt lighter than a spear Matrona gives the least exp out of all the staves

best: the first boss in FE10. it takes 3 unpromoted units to kill him worst: FE8 first boss cause Seth can own him easily and Eirika can kill him easily too
-
I think they go for the dragons cause the spirits can double attack them
-
I would like to see FE4 and 5 on one disc for the Wii. I haven't played either of them and I think it would be really cool. of course if Nintendo/IS wants more money they'll release them separately

Most difficult final boss in the series?
Killer Poleax replied to Haar the Pirate's topic in General Fire Emblem
the fire dragon and Ashera were hard (for me) the first few times. I'll go with Ashera for hardest -
Boyd's base HP is higher or equal to most 2nd tier HP caps. if he gets an HP transfer, his base HP will be higher or equal to all 2nd tier hp caps (except Warrior) and a few 3rd tier hp caps Lucia & Geoffrey and Marcia & Makalov don't get a +10 bond support bonus with each other even though their brother/sister

cool, good luck to you! I totally agree with that! too many characters are shoved down your throat in this game, especially when you don't even plan on using them. I always bench Sothe & Sanaki so I don't have to deal with them
-
I'm assuming you're all talking about Boyd on hard mode but he can be really awesome on normal. if he gets a speed transfer and a speed levelup he can start doubling as early as 3-2. if not just give him a speedwing and he can double in 3-2 and doubles for most of the rest of the game. I know it's different in hard mode but I'm just throwing in my 2 cents :) (I've played a lot of normal mode) and about other characters: I don't really think Haar and Shinon are broken. Haar cause he has a bad speed cap and growth so sometimes he doesn't double and Shinon cause most of the time he can't counter on the enemy phase. also Ike isn't too broken until he gets Ragnell. he still can't really kill much with wind edges if you need him to counter ranged attacks also agree that Astrid (horrible bases and little playtime), Lethe (cat gauge, kinda bad bases) and Tormod (no availability) got screwed the most. I also agree with all that stuff that Queen_Elincia said except the last part. ShinonXRhys, I've done that before, mostly cause I didn't know who else to pair them with. I use Rhys mostly for healing though

aren't there only like 5 mages in 1-7? approx what level did you have her at going into part 3?
-
usually I don't until they get to lvl 20. only the characters with forced promotions that I don't like using or ones that I forget to lvl to 20. besides the main lord type characters, I've only done it with FE10 Gatrie when he capped his speed. I might have done it with Priscilla one time cause I couldn't wait for her to get to 20. if I have an extra seal I'll promote Laura (to 2nd tier) in part 4

Best/Worst in the Series: Round 41
Killer Poleax replied to NinjaMonkey's topic in General Fire Emblem
best: Rout, it's so fun. I usually rout all enemies whenever I can worst: survive, sometimes there aren't enough turns to kill all the enemies -
Shinon has the best Skrimir's is good the Crimean soldier "Form up! Surround them all! Don't let a single one escape!" also the Begnion soldier "Listen up, lass. if you don't want to get hurt, don't struggle." Ranulf's was good too except in the River Crossing cutscene he talks too soft Rolf's is funny. poor guy hasn't hit puberty yet, and yet he has a 75% strength growth :o Zelgius' and Sephrian's in the memory scenes were awful. Mist's sucks as well. why is her voice so high? and Dheginsea's is funny/bad.

yeah it's not hard if you don't mind boss abusing her for many turns. Fiona is really hard to train without that. she's underleveled, gets ORKOed by lots of enemies for a while and her strength is horrible so she needs to have her enemies staring death in the face for her to kill anything
-
that's a good team. I would say take off Heather but I don't know who should replace her. Heather's pretty weak. she has a hard time killing things. maybe replace her with Tanith

What is your fondest memory of playing FE
Killer Poleax replied to Ansem's topic in General Fire Emblem
besides finishing FE7, 9 and 10 for the first time, in FE10, first time I had Boyd able to double attack in 3-2, then he went on a killing spree for the rest of the game. that was just awesome -
Fire Emblem 3 remake for the DS
Killer Poleax replied to Suichimo's topic in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
I'd prefer 4 and 5 to be remade for Wii if possible cause I don't have a DS (not planning on getting one either) -
Well, I just beat the game...
Killer Poleax replied to Adam Smasher's topic in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
I love part 3. it's my favourite part of the game cause I get to use a full team of characters I actually want to use I also hate 4-3 cause it's a desert and only fliers and mages are good on that map. and the bishop with elsleep usually puts Haar to sleep on the first 2 turns so Micaiah has to stand by and heal him. I usually give Nullify to Naesala so he doesn't get killed by crossbows. I don't think there are any thunder sages there so Haar doesn't need it -
it works for the DB too? cool! but I usually give my DB ranged weapons going into 3-7 cause I want them to attack my GMs Sothe, Micaiah and Volug don't move in 3-7 it would be fun to face all those characters in 3-13 but only on the last 2 turns like the GMs. it wouldn't be that bad then. when the GMs charge up the fort, Soren is the only one that doesn't move

congrats to you! that's exactly how I felt after my first few playthroughs. some chapters are quite hard the first few times and just like Mekkah said, Edward's part 1 kills do add up. he usually sneaks into the top 5 even if I don't use him in part 4 or endgame
