  1. I hope Amazon.de ships them earlier than Thursday. I can't wait much longer!
  2. In Germany Fire Emblem Awakening is currently the number 1 preorder title. http://gonintendo.co...story&id=200107 Also, at least for German users, they started to show FE:A advertisments on youtube (can't say for myself, I block those things).
  3. Here are some small and large differences I noticed between the German demo and the US version of FE. 1. When Lissa says "Hey, I've heard of this! It's called amnesia!" they changed the speech bubble to a "screaming" bubble. 2. After Frederick says "We're to believe you remember milord's name, but not your own?" they added a speech bubble and Frederick says (translated) "If we all just were blessed with such a handy, selective memory." 3. After the avatar says "B-But it's the truth." Chrom says (translated): "Listen, it doesn't matter. We can't let you stray around on the fields of Ylisse." Chrom already mentions Ylisse before the MU asks for the name of the country. 4. In English the Avatar says: "Wait just one moment! Do I have a say in this?" In German he's even more afraid, saying: "I-I'm getting arrested? But I didn't do anything--" :D 5. In English the Avatar says: "What will yo do with me? Am I to be your prisoner?" Again he's way more afraid in the German version, saying: "I guess I will be enchained. Or maybe you're even executing me?" 6. Lissa is angrier with her brother. Instead of "I am NOT delicate! ...Hmph!" and "Ignore my brother, please. He can be a bit thick sometimes." she says: "I am NOT delicate! Jerk!" and "If you like, you can ignore my big brother. He is an idiot." 7. After the prologue fight Chrom says: "Besides, I believe his story, odd as it might be." In the German version he already loves the avatar and says: "...Whereat he can be a friend on top of that." 8. When Lissa says "Dark meat only for me, medium well, and no salt in the soup, i simply..." she has her happy face. In the German version she strangely has her sad face and says: "Very good. I want a king-size bed and two haunches of..." Also when she says "But, Frederick, it's nearly dark!" she has her desperate face in the US version, but a happy face in the German version. 9. Shortly after this she says: "Yeah, well, "stern" is one name for it. I can think of a few others." In the German version she says: "He'd better hunt geese and make a fluffy pillow for me! Hmph..." 10. German Lissa strikes again. In English she says: "I'll pass on finding firewood, thanks." "I think I built QUITE enough character for one day." In German she says: "Can I ignite Frederick then?" "Whatever... I'll gather wood if he builds us a nice shelter out of it."
  4. Maître Stratège according to the official site.
  5. I don't know, I actually really like the "Elfen" prefix in the German version. "El" sounds stupid in my ears, especially Ellight.
  6. Funnily enough it's still Robin in the German version (despite saying otherwise on the homepage).
  7. What is weird that all non-English European version got the same changes. It makes sense to change "Cherche" for the French or "Panne" for the Germans (don't know why they didn't change "Stahl" as well), but all changes are applied to all languages (besides English). And "Lon'zu" or "Daraen" are just a strange changes no matter what.
  8. Looks like the earlier design of Kjelle instead became Say'ri.
  9. It's strange they region-lock it now. I can see all other Fire Emblem related news just fine on their Facebook channel.
  10. It certainly would be a challenge. With pair up and Rally Skills you should be able to get +20 in key stats, so roughly 6x total. The best enemy units still have 70-80 in stats, but combined with skills, dual attack and shield it could work.
  11. Is it possible to beat the "The Strongest One's Name" DLC without having the Limit Break skill?
  12. I guess they will do something similar to the (non-English) European version. E.g. in German the translation of "Dread Fighter" would be hilariously silly, so they either use something different or even use the original term "Demon Fighter", which can be translated just fine.
  13. I doubt anyone who is overly concerned about spoilers would actually watch a trailer about the DLCs.
  14. The 3DS and 3DSXL have exactly the same resolution.
  15. Translation? Edit: How is this support even possible? Morgan's hair color indicates Tiki is not her mother.
  16. Both are wrong, it's 0.67*(0.46+0.1)=0.3752 (=> 37.52%) that Luna will activate.
  17. Question about Slow Burn "Hit rate and Avoid increases by 1 each Turn, up to the 15th Turn" What happens on the 16th turn? Will the unit keep the +15 Hit and Avoid or will there be no more bonus at all? And Question about Underdog "Hit rate and Avoid +15 when user's Level is lower than the enemy (promoted units count as Level +20)" Is the internal level considered for this skill?
  18. It's +Hit, +Avoid, +Critical, +Dodge (=Critical Avoid)
  19. Yeah, we haven't confirmed anything yet. To confirm whether the game uses 2 or 1 RN to determine hits/misses either the developers have to tell us or we need to use the "law of large numbers".
  20. Don't worry, serenesforest.net has every info you need: http://www.serenesfo...al/truehit.html Btw. is it possible to explore this question by using battle saves in casual mode? Or is there no way to easily influence the RNG like you could in the GBA Fire Emblems?
  21. I already love the project. Too bad I also have to wait two months before I can contribute anything. :(
  22. And what would you suggest otherwise? Dual guard to always activate which would render your units invincible?
  23. He will probably realize that very quickly once he sees the boxart of the game or hears Masked Marth's voice in the second chapter.
