    The letter swapping was really obvious. I wonder if they will do the same for the English names, but what could Cordelia even be changed to? Coralide? Diraloce? Loracide? L'Arcidoe?

    I'm glad that Marx is winning, but sad that Leon is battling for second with Odin. Come on, Leon! You can take second so that the Nohr brothers can be the best duo! I would love to give Lazward a vote as well! I'm literally forcing myself not to because I always supported Inigo in the Awakening polls, so I want to try to give my attention to some new characters this time. My inner Inigo fangirl is screaming, though. Sometimes we have to be devious for the sake of the best male characters

    That's because Camilla is the only girl Fates needs. I see a lot of male character love, especially for Jakob, Silas, Leon and Marx. Nishiki has his following as well.

    I can't really judge her as a unit because I haven't played the game and I refuse watch streams or read most spoilers (I want to be surprised as much as possible), but in terms of design I honestly think she is kind of homely looking. She has a giant forehead and a weird looking hairstyle. I also really hate those blade things on the arm. At least she has a nice chest, I guess. Her personality sounds okay, I suppose. Edit: I also forgot to mention that I appreciate that her outfit is pink (I love it when girls get pink outfits), but I feel like the orange scarf cape clashes with it too much. It should have been red.

    Lol what? Of course there aren't any sex scenes. I know that there is a chunk of fanservice in the game, but it doesn't suddenly become an eroge because of it.

    I don't see why people are saying "welcome to anime" since there are so very many anime titles without any fanservice. I think it's more appropriate to compare Fates to ecchi anime specifically.

    I plan on making my avatar look like this because it actually looks like me a decent amount this time. Same hairstyle (I even do the braids and clip them back with a cute clip often, and I have my bangs cut a bit longer at the corners), the only thing that keeps me from doing a complete self insert is the eye color (not counting the pointy ears of course). The other hairstyle with bangs works well for a self insert too. When I'm not playing as my insert, I'll probably make a character with black hair because it looks really pretty on the hairstyles with the bangs. I'll name her Madeline or Aurora (I plan to name my future daughter/s with those names). I have to say, red and purple hair look god awful on the Kamui because of the color of their clothing. Green looks a bit awkward too, but not as bad as the above two.

    I think that Nohr stands a chance because the royal siblings seem to be much more popular than Hoshido's royal siblings from what I've seen. It also looks darker and edgier, and people tend to like that sort of thing.

    I think that Ophelia is worse than Nyx because Nyx at least has solid panties on. It does look a bit awkward, but that aside it seems to be showing both the vagina bone and part of the pubic region (the very far side of it). It also doesn't look like the panties cover the edges of the lower...parts completely either.

    There is also an anime character archetype where more "mature looking" female characters act flirty towards both genders simply to go with their design/humor rather than their sexual preferences (it's one of the few big sister archetypes in anime). Fire Emblem does try to include more of these archetypes in their games now to produce more sales, so there is a chance Camilla could be a part of that archetype.

    It's no secret that a certain character gets almost all of the spotlight when it comes to design complaints, but how come people never seem to complain about the more risque designs? By more risque, I'm talking about the characters who actually have some of their vagina visible in their character designs. Ophelia, who barely has any of her body covered to begin with, even has on transparent panties. You can see the sides of Charlotte's vagina pretty clearly. Yet when fanservice is complained about these characters are often overlooked. I even see Ophelia get a lot of praise! I have seen Charlotte get some complaints at least, but they are usually over her breasts or bare stomach rather than the much more obvious thing.

    I find it hilarious that so many people are whining about Camilla being fanservicey because her boobs jiggle or because of the bottom half of her outfit when Ophelia and Nyx have on way less clothing than her. Ophelia's panties are even transparent! Then you can actually see part of Charlotte's vagina in her outfit. Orochi's design is almost in the same boat as Charlotte's, but the cut isn't as extreme. I can't even take the posts that link to Camilla's one second boob bounce or mention of Camilla's "inappropriate panties" as the examples for game fanservice seriously anymore.

    I saw a video of Camilla's skinship on sankakucomplex earlier. They made her blush way too red, She looks like she has a fever rather than her looking embarrassed.
