Those Valkyries are bitches man. I honestly forgot how bad they were, they doubled everyone that wasn't Fly Thwomp, Imouto Thwomp and Emo Thwomp, though the slowest ones failed to double Sex Thwomp.

And I think the only ones with notably bad skill are Lord Thwomp, Sex Thwomp, and Elithwomp (though his isn't that bad) IIRC.

I would consider it, but Horsethwomp can double more things and has way more Res + the sentimental value, I've been using him for like 20+ chapters so I'll stick with him to the end.

I dunno, I just kinda ignored it, the druid battle sprites are your average Druid sprites rather than Sophia's from FE6, it's only their map sprites.

I guess Linus is a pimp, what with all the Valkyries and female Druids around him.

Having started Chapter 2, I forgot to include the common exception of Vanessa rescuing Ross turn 2 so you don't have to constantly rig dodges for him.

Edited the OP, hopefully phobia was the only one who's done it so far and thus hasn't had any problems (since he drafted Vanessa).

All right folks, unfortunately due to lack of inspiration I'm postponing or possibly ignoring Ch28 Pt.2 supports altogether. I just can't come up with anything remotely interesting to comment on for the final supports, and I'm getting busier too since midterms start up again next week.

On the last episode of FE7: THWOMP, we were trolled by status staves and Bolting before finally defeating Sonia! Unfortunately, this chapter isn't looking to be any better :(

IIRC, Maxime is given bonuses as if he were a normal enemy as opposed to a boss in HHM, leading to his absurd stats. The same is true for Fargus in EHM (though thankfully you don't fight him.)

That would explain it LOL, his stats jumped up like 5-7 from his Normal Mode stats, which is a bit much.

Working on Chapter 28x now, it's probably gonna be another 2-parter due to it exceeding the image count due to the final supports.

Ok...After talking to Phobia it appears that my VBA is doing something that he has no idea how to fix.

Sequence of events:

1) I mapped my Insert key to take screen caps. Nothing fancy here.

2) Load rom. Duh.

3): Press insert.

4) A window pops up, asking me to select screen capture name. The default name is that of the rom, every time.

5) I change the name to something like ROMNAME_1, and save it. Red text pops up saying "Screen Capture".

Now, I asked Phobia how to get rid of the step 4. According to him, step 4 doesn't occur at all. It automatically does that.

"Maybe check out Options>Emulator>Directories? Mine doesn't have any set up and just automatically saves the way you're saying..."

Can't find anything helpful there. Checked out all the options under Emulator, nothing looks relevant. A quick google search doesn't give me an epiphany.

What exactly am I doing wrong?

What VBA version do you have? Maybe that has something to do with it? No idea if it actually makes a difference :(

Hey everyone! burgerkong back for a regular THWOMP update!

Just as an FYI, I just beat the game today, so now it's just sorting through screenshots and brainstorming witty one-liners till the end!

We've only done the actual draft itself, but the LP will be starting soon.

With that announcement out of the way, let's get started!

On the last episode of FE7: THWOMP, we traversed the unnecessarily-complex Black Fang fortress and got the Fire Emblem from Jaffar Lite. And now we save Prince Zephiel, the HARBINGER OF DOOM. But really, we could have just all lived happily-ever after if we just let Zephiel die and Luna crit'd everything to death, but hindsight is 20/20.

Phobia and Elieson has IMO best teams. However I think that Elieson has more skill.

LOL well when Garcia and Lute are first picks you know that we aren't exactly tryharding here. I would've picked Vanessa if I really wanted to try to LTC (though I ended up with Tana 3rd pick somehow, so there's that...)

Elieson's team is indisputably the best. Franz is rape, and he has Ross AND Artur for more earlygame destruction and Artur for lategame warpskip. And he has Forde and Amelia cuz extra Paladins wynaut.

Phobia has Vanessa, but Boulder and L'Arachel are the worst Warpers (Boulder has crap range, L'Arachel comes way too late).

My team is probably a little behind Phobia, since my turncounts for earlygame will probably suck without mounts but I have Saleh for warpskip and both Kyle and Tana for mounts by Chapter 9.

And poly...well when you 1st pick Lute, 2nd pick Gilliam and 3rd pick Joshua you're clearly not going for LTC :D
