Pretty much the entire reason I like the game boy ones was because of the intensely beautiful sprite work. You try doing sprite making sometime. It's really bloody hard.

Heh, that was me. And the reason it did that was because of how horribly the FE:SS link arena is set up. Also, I only had it for two characters because those particular codes were like 20 lines long, which is really painful to input by hand.

Roy and Marth were not starters, and unless you knew how to unlock them, it would probably be a while before you did. Therefore, your statement confuses me. Also, who cares who the starters are as long as the characters we like are in the game somewhere? I think they announced Snake and Sonic just to make the point that they are introducing non-Nintendo exclusive characters also.

I like stuffit expander, personally. It unzips basically everything that is a 1 part archive. If you have archives that are more than 1 part, then you are downloading waaay too much stuff.

Heh, for AWDS, I've never finished a link battle because the battery always dies or someone shuts their screen. And, no, we never have more than one charger on hand. XD

Clearly, guys, the problem you are all having is that you can't see mercenaries, hired soldiers, being moral, valiant champions of justice. I mean, everyone knows that mercenaries are supposed to fight for justice and good, not just the person who pays them the most. Kind of reminds me of the air pirates in Skies of Arcadia. Pirates of justice.

Oh, I thought they used duct tape. And, like, most of the weapons that have cool name in anything from Japan are based off of the mythology of somewhere (usually the Denmark Sweden Norway region)

I chose Ephraim simply because his fat butt horse has a fatter butt than hers does.

Heck, why do you need anything else after you unlock the devil's arms? Unless you are like an OCD completionist, in which case, all the more power to you. Considering that the average play through is about 50 hours, that is pretty impressive.

I hate forums, I will be playing as fox. Even if he DID get nerfed. CHANGE IS BAD!!1 (no new characters for me, thanks). Although, from the new comers, Lucas and Captain Olimar are high on my list.

He only took most of them. No PK flashing for Lucas. Did any of you actually play Earthbound? It was trippy. They should definitely put Poo in to have a Mother 2 representative present.

Not that I want any of you to kill me, but the two games are similar from the standpoint that they are turn based strategy. And they are both awesome series. And I think the thread title is a little to long for its own good.

Well, not to start a flame war, but compared to those people on youtube and/or Ryan, you do suck. But I do too, so it's all good. For the record, I'm not better than you at anything EXCEPT Smash Bros. (and maybe life.)

Personally, Ganandorf has like the worst throws in the game. It's really pathetic. But he's still my favorit character as far as being fun to play with. Seriously, I would be willing to bet that they keep everyone from the original excepting Ness seeing as he has been "replaced" by Lucas. I never played the N64 one that much and therefore don't use grabs a ton. Besides, everyone I play against sucks enough that there is no point in playing the game until my hands bleed just so that I can wavedash. And to dredge up old topics, I am glad they took out the up-tap jump because it pisses me off. As far as actual spikes, no one wins versus Falco. Meh, Marth and Roy both annoy me because (for me at least) their range is too long, they are waaay over powered (they can seriously easily kill you with less than 50%), and their aerials are hard to time. Plus, they have no long range attacks, and everyone I know (besides myself) plays with them as one of their best 3 characters (that may or may not be exaggeration).
