It feels really weird that my vote is the first one of the new day since the last vote of yesterday was also mine...

I definitely agree that four seems like a likely number for the (presumably) final batch of DLC characters we'll be getting. I personally think Wolf, Isaac, Dixie Kong (I'd say K. Rool, but that Mii costume...), and maybe Balloon Fighter (I'm dead serious). But the characters I WANT...well Lyn of course :P

This...is perfect. When I started this two years ago I wasn't really thinking about it. Too late to change it now, and it's more fun this way.

Oh yeah, if a character is in both 6 and 7 then I always take into account their character in both games. You get the full package character-wise that way!

Well shame on you! Seriously though, I've never really tried using Dart except to build his support with Farina. I guess he turns out okay, I mean he's never died lol. As for Canas...he's awesome man, ya gotta make some room for him! Lucius and Pent are probably the best magic-users (not counting any healers), but Canas is great.

Dozla power! But yeah, I like all of them, but I had to go with Dozla. Also, there was another topic like this made here, so if anyone wants to go to that one instead, there ya go. The prepromotes I generally use are Dozla, Stefan (unless I've trained up Mia), occasionally Karel Seth and Geitz, and all the Awakening characters since there really is no bad Awakening character. And then the ones you're kinda forced to use, like Gotoh.

I was going to wait until later to make this list, but as I was looking through each character...I decided to do it now. So here it is! For the longest time, I had no idea which of them was my favorite. I like all of them in terms of character, and as units I'm kinda neutral on them. But now, after however long, I have to say...Dozla is my favorite. He's such an awesome character! All of his conversations make me smile, he's such an awesome and jolly guy! How could you not like him? And his design is cool. Again, I like them all, but I gotta go with Dozla. Now, concerning Gonzales. I was not originally going to include him in this list, or any other list. He is the only playable Brigand in the GBA games, so there really wouldn't be a list for him. However, Brigands have a lot in common with the Pirate class, they both promote into Berserkers and they can both invade villages and they both of course use axes. Plus, Garret starts out as a Berserker and there's no way to tell if his starting class would have been a Pirate or a Brigand, so it felt unfair to exclude Gonzales. He isn't included in the main list since he starts out as a Brigand, but to include Gonzales and since Brigand is similar to Pirate, I found a way to get him in there. NOTE: 1: A character's starting class determines which list they go on. For prepromotes, what would have been their starting class in their game determines which list they go on. For example, Renault is a Bishop, but his starting class would have been a Monk if he wasn't a prepromote, so he goes on the Monk/Bishop list. Yodel, on the other hand, goes on the Priest/Cleric/Bishop list, he is a Bishop but in Binding Blade Monk was not a class so his starting class would have been a Priest. 2: If a character is not playable in the main story, they are not included. Priscilla is my favorite of the bunch. I like her design a lot, and I love her stuff with Heath. I like the others as well, but Priscilla beats them all. I like her a lot. I'm surprised Raigh doesn't have more votes, I hear nothing but good things about him. Right now he has the least amount of votes.

I like them enough. I like Barst, he generally turns out good for me. I like Bartre, I have yet to get a bad Bartre, and I like Garcia and Geitz. I'll say Dorcas is decent, but he's generally hit-or-miss for me.

Canas is definitely my favorite of this bunch. I like his design a lot, his monocle is awesome and his overall design (his purple hair, outfit, etc.) is just really cool. I like his character a lot too, he has great conversations with everyone he can talk to. I wish he didn't have such a tragic ending. Ah well. There's no "denial" here. I don't deny when one of my favorites isn't a good unit. Renault, for example. He's my favorite Monk/Bishop, but you know what? He is FAR from the best unit. There are very few units that are generally considered bad that I argue are good, Bartre being one of them. I didn't forget about RNG either and I don't give two flying craps if you believe me or not, and honestly I don't expect you to believe me. In fact I'd be surprised if you DID believe me! Doesn't change the fact that I've always gotten a good Bartre, though. Believe it or not, I don't give a donkey's dirty rear end. It isn't me "trying to use my personal experience" and I laugh that you say "ANOTHER case" like I've done this before. We're going to have to agree to disagree, we're never going to agree on this. I like Bartre and will argue in his favor, that's that. Agree or disagree, that's your choice and your right to hold your own opinion. All I can say is that the more people condescend to me, the angrier I'm going to get, I can't even say "yeah I had a good Eliwood once, it was pretty cool" without someone telling me "WHY U USE ELWOOD NOOB HEKTOR MUCH BETTER IDJIOT!" I have seriously had more than one person start a conversation with me just to tell me my opinions are trash, I'm getting really sick of this bullcrap. EDIT: I will say though, I am sorry for my own anger and attitude, I got angry and carried away with my words and that was wrong of me. People always condescend at me, so I tend to take things in the worst ways. I am sorry.

I'm selling Bartre as a good unit with cold hard facts, not even you can deny that more than fifteen playthroughs with a beastly Bartre is just "personal experience." If this had happened in only two or three playthroughs, then yeah, just luck and that's all. But no, this has been consistent, every single time, literally every single time I've played the game. There is literally no way it's just luck or "lol just personal experience noon." You think I don't know there's a reason the fanbase asserts "personal experience means nothing"? I know full well, and like I said if it were just a couple playthroughs and not literally every single one, then yeah, I wouldn't argue for Bartre at all. I am so sick of people telling me "personal experience noob" and treating me like I'm an idiot. Yeah, I like Bartre. Yeah, I'll defend him as a good unit. No, it is not just personal experience. I'm tired of everyone telling me how wrong I am.

I missed the "at base" part, but even so he's always doubled consistently enough, plus there are Speedwings.
