Hmm. Interesting. I feel like there's some characters and franchises that are screwed, like Ness and Earthbound, so that sucks. And I'm just guessing that King K. Rool cannot be used because his only Switch appearance was actually on Smash Bros.? Darn it. Well, anyway. I've highlighted every newcomer who has never been in a Smash Bros. game before in bold text. For one newcomer (Andy), if you don't know who I'm talking about, I mean Andy from Advance Wars. I think where the other newcomers are from is pretty obvious, right? For Pokemon, I checked every single Pokemon game on Switch to make sure all of my Pokemon picks were in them, and they are all indeed in at least one of the Switch Pokemon games. Tawna over Crash himself, Cortex, and Dingodile? Bold move.

My AHR summoning was successful enough. I didn't drop a ton of orbs on it, but with my free summon and fourteen more I got my first base Edelgard, another Attuned Peony, and Wind Tribe Claude. Not a bad time summoning. On the New Heroes banner with Attuned Caeda and Ascended Merric, I got both of them plus two Yuliya's, and a bunch of off-focus 4-star-special-rate characters (Minerva, base Claude, Brave Eliwood, a couple others).

Hana got good art, at least. Still not one I'm terribly excited about, but I'm not upset about it either. She's fine, this is fine, it's a kind of "whatever" for me.

As a Subaki fan, I would actually like to see him get something. Anything. A Resplendent, a TT+ alt, something. It feels like he'll join Arthur as the most forgotten Fates retainer. I'm sure Setsuna will get something at some point simply because she has certain assets the men don't have.

Somehow, I completely forgot about Navarre, which is kind of silly of me considering he's one of the Archanea characters people actually know. At least a little bit.

Tiki could be any color they wanted, couldn't she? Red or Green, the two likely color candidates, she could fill them. But that's also the same for Celica, Lyn, Micaiah, Lucina, and some others.

I ended up getting both Ascended Merric and Attuned Caeda, so I'm gonna call that a successful banner for me and stop spending orbs on it. Luckily, I didn't spend too many and still have a decent pile, but I still spent a little more than I meant to. But, hey, Caeda and Merric are two characters I actually really like, and for Merric specifically this is the first version he's gotten where I feel he was really worth it to spend some favoritism orbs on.

I of course expect it to be someone I really like, such as Lyn, because I just dropped some orbs on both the AHR banner and the New Heroes banner with Attuned Cadea. That's how it usually always works, right?

Just about time for another round of "Guess the Resplendent". Now that we're done speed-running the CYL 2 winners, there isn't much of a pattern. To me it feels like Maria, Catria, Cherche, and Camilla are all decent guesses for 3/4☆ units, since they've all gotten alts within the last year or so, or Laslow since we got Inigo last year. Linus and Michalis got an alt last year, they could be candidates if they go the GH route, or for 5☆ units we could see--dare I hope--Ayra.
