    THANKS GUYS I LOVE hi yes oops my schedule got messed up so i no longer have a study hall and since i am takin several ap's it usually takes four hours to finish my homework every day (+ the hour of studying i do on bus rides home)...... add that to all of the other things i gotta do and some days i barely have time to even get online any more : ( i'd stay up every now and then but the stress has gotten to me to the point where i am havin dizzy spells and trouble walking a lot of the time and i do not exactly want to worsen that with less sleep. sry but thx for understanding however i am here occasionally because i do need an outlet for.......things........and also i might make it a habit to shitpost every weekend because AHHH

    THE MOST TERRIFYING THING ABOUT CHECKING THE WIKI PAGES OF MY OLD FAVOURITE UTAITE IS THAT I'VE BEEN AWAY FOR SO LONG THAT THEY TOTALLY COULD HAVE RETIRED thankfully (or...unthankfully ;~;) kain and aho no sakata and senra and nayugorou and yorukichi are all still there...........and in fact my only one fave who is no longer active is hitori ; - ;

    w-wow acacia i wish i could express how much that means to me (and also probably to hatt, on his behalf) thank you very much (also i was going to say this earlier but thought it would be kind of unwelcome or awkward (?), i really enjoy seeing your posts talking about the progress in the games you're playing tbh. i don't get it and i'm sure that several other users don't either but it matters to YOU and it's nice seeing so much detail in them because you clearly enjoy writing them)

    man this track used to be on yt but since it isn't any more i just have to resort to linking the crossfade I JUST LOVE HITORI'S COVER OF TOKYO TEDDY BEAR SO MUCH AHH AND THE WORST PART IS THAT I DON"T EVEN REMEMBER WHY I LIKE IT BECAUSE I NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO THE FULL VERSION BUT SHE SOUNDS AMAZING EVEN WITHIN THIS TINY SNIPPET I ALWAYS LOVE THE EMOTION SHE POURS INTO HER WORK ;-; also the entire gimmick of the princess for princess album is that it's a bunch of female utaite with somewhat tomboyish voices (which is why they're drawn as androgynous men on the cover) and all of them have two solo songs on the album. most of them have one song with their regular, higher-tone voice and one song with their lower, more masculine voice BUT HITORI IS A GOON AND SHE JUST DECIDED TO RECORD BOTH SONGS IN HER RYOUSEIRUI VOICE BECAUSE SHE'S LIKE THAT (which is probably why she's the most clearly male-looking on the cover) AND SHE ALSO USES IT TO SING "UNDER THE DARKNESS" WHICH IS THE FINAL BONUS TRACK ON THE ALBUM WITH ALL THE GIRLS SINGING iirc the only song she uses her regular voice in is her group song with 96neko and toriko, but even then it's still considered the "male" counterpart of yamai's/usa's/wotamin's song and i really do think she would have used her male voice anyway if it were just her own song lmao i love hitori also appreciation for the art

    THANKS HATT wow i had no idea the interview thread had lasted that long either......also thanks for reminding me, i meant to say this a while ago but we haven't talked in like 20 years: THANKS FOR TAKING OVER THE INTERVIEWS FOR SO LONG, IT'S A VERY LOVELY THREAD THAT BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER AND IM HAPPY THAT YOU ARE WILLING TO HOST IT HAHA YES AND U CAN DO THE SAME WHENEVER I TALK ABOUT HITORI MAN LIFE REALLY HAS A WAY OF WORKING OUT HUH

    OH I WAS GONNA SAY THIS EARLIER BUT I FORGOT something really cool about hitori is that, because she became an utaite before utaite culture was officially even a thing, she didn't really think to create an alias for her singing persona but her earlier uploads were all titled with "hitoribocchi de" or "i sang ___ by myself" because her variety of voices easily confused listeners into thinking that there were multiple people singing so she just kinda naturally became known as "hitori" (but written differently as the actual word "alone" for obvious reasons) i think it is a very cute story, her name really represents who she is as a singer i think

    MATRYOSHKA, ANOTHER CLASSIC VOCALOID SONG ok this is one of those songs where she uses a heckton of voices which makes it an adventure to listen to (but obviously the main one is her male one and wow it suits the song so well im shook) anyway because of the meaning of the song (insanity, delirium, etc) i think her silly antics somehow play very well into it????? especially the cuckoo and buuuuru buruburu buuuuuru buruburu buuuuru buruburu meshing altogether at once at the second "anata to watashi de rendez-vous" verse i also feel like the song that best exemplifies her male voice besides her tokyo teddy bear cover (which is on an album) and her eh? ah sou cover (which she sang only a small part of) not related to the song but i think the birds are really endearing too

    ok first of all invisible i was very EH with this song at first, honestly. it was one of the first i heard from her and again im not really into edgy songs like this?? however i was eventually captivated by her singing style and now it is one of my faves ALSO THIS WAS THE FIRST COVER OF THE SONG THAT I ENCOUNTERED AND WHEN I WENT TO LISTEN TO OTHER VERSIONS I WAS REALLY CONFUSED BECAUSE THE SCREAMO WASN'T THERE AND THEN I REALIZED "WAIT THEN THAT MEANS THAT SHE'S DOING THAT HERSELF" queen. anyway why i like this song, i really like the voice she uses to sing the verses?? like most of the time she either uses a clearly female voice (like the little supporting voice also in the verses) or a clearly male voice (like in the pre-chorus and chorus) but this one is in a feminine range while being sung in a masculine way....it is very tomboyish and i am in awe @ how she managed to pull that off bc wow. even during the higher notes near the end she still keeps her ryouseirui voice steady also i love the ~emotion~ (or something, idt thats the right word but u know) w which she sings during the chorus and bridge and also her harmonies

    y-yes MARCH 2013 IM FAIRLY SURE (or at the very least, the first half of 2013) it has been a while ;-; i don't think i could ever be loyal to any kpop person for that long lmao
