172:03 hours 188 times used (sometimes I turn it up just to hear the music) 0:54 average playtime I played it a lot, yet it feels like it gave me less content than other titles in the series. Hmm... it's very time consuming, and it's not even my favorite game (not at all actually, it's probably my least favorite). It's not a bad thing but the time I spent on it makes it look like I love the game, lol ;; I do have some major problems with it but it's still good fun. Still... everyone seems to have long play times even if they don't love it. I guess it's mostly time spent on grinding/getting skills/grinding supports/whatevs because that's how I doubled the time in my second playthrough. I do plan on playing one final playthrough on Lunatic with super babies and dread fighter Owain

Since he's a rather gloomy looking Warlock, I'm sure he'd say something corny and dark such as "Lull into the darkness..." or even "I hope you choke on flux...".

Hey, in my male playthrough I paired my Avatar with Lissa too. Cheers. ... it's great to have Owain as a son.

Aw man, personally I'd like to have the rest of the Greil Mercenaries since I like them all so much... except, you know, I only use legacy charactersand bonus content characters in the Hubba tester ;; Lol. The usual complaint is that they're just Avatars blah blah blah... in the end, I prefer to use the game's original characters. As for maps... I'd like something tricky and anal from Radiant Dawn, like chapter 5. But I guess it's not the same thing without the Dawn Brigade. Then.. I'd go for the bridge too. It'd be interesting to see it in Awakening, and how it ends up playing.

Ah... I don't have LB unfortunately. The only DLC I plan to get are EXPonential growth and the maps with the DLC classes, but thanks for the suggestions :) I'll keep this in mind.

I don't know how much the "Est" archetype "fun" could work in a game like Awakening, if you grind. And Donnel is just not worth it in a no-grind playthrough... he's not just hard to train, he also doesn't live up to the rest of the cast with his fewer reclass options and lower caps... what were the people at IS thinking?? But he is a nice dad for the girls at least: I personally can't put Nowi with anyone else for my moral reasons ;; To make him more of a competitive character... I'd probably give him the cavalier class, so he can get Luna, Aegis, yadda yadda... and maybe even Discipline to make up for his weapon skills problems (well... since he gets to use lances again those wouldn't be much of a problem anymore actually). Wyvern Rider would give him all those breakers and carrier, and combined with the Hero's axe breaker then he'd have all the breakers ('cept tome)... neat-o.

Hmm... should I remove Luna to make space for Swordbreaker then?? I def don't want to remove renewal since she always gets damaged... :(

My main idea was to make her a Falcoknight because I like sturdy Falcoknights, but then I saw her STR cap is 39... also she still is weak against axes :( But that 50 SPD cap looks nice. Should I go with it?? Using staves would be pointless for her since her MAG isn't spectacular... I was also thinking Wyvern Lord because it's an excellent class and she might be a speedy one (I know they're usually slow).

I have a question regarding Frederick!Cynthia... if this is the right place. What would be a good class for her?? I've read to go Paladin with her but I'm not sure. She has Pavise, Aegis, Luna, Renewal and Galeforce.

Zelgius is a pretty sad character, other than being a really weird and dangerous person that really loves fighting. I'm pretty sure he wanted a serious fight with Greil, but got none since Greil was now too old to fight back properly and thus got trepassed by Alondite. Anyway, if defeat=death, then he wanted to kill him anyway. I think that... he agrees to Sephiran mostly out of love and despair: he had no one else to turn to, what does he do? Go with the person who says he understands him the most and accepts him for who he his. Their relationship is a bit sick: Zelgius never questions Sephiran's doings, and his devotion is really extreme. I wonder what goes on in his mind... I'm truly thinking he's desperate for family and affection. He's my one of my favorite villains but... he's a weirdo. ALSO PART OF ME CAN'T GET OVER THE FACT THAT UNDER THE BLACK KNIGHT THERE'S A BISHIE ;_;

Naw he's pretty great as a unit, and his devotion is very cute and makes a good husband for Sumia, but... his support and marriage with The Avatar were disappointing for me... due to all that talk about eating meat ._. I know you can't always have good marriages and supports in this game due to the giant amount of them, but I expected that their dynamic would be more interesting: he still is someone who doesn't trust anyone at first sight (unlike Chrom), and The Avatar is a perfect, weirdly dressed, amnesiac stranger that he totally wouldn't trust. If the support talked about building his trust, about his devotion to Yilisse and about his life as a knight, maybe I wouldn't have been disappointed so much. But instead... you marry me because I made you eat bear meat??!TT____TT (OFF TOPIC: Morgan came out well though, and the first time I saw him I felt a warm emotion in my heart somehow: it might be all fake, but I felt like, since he was my virtual child, that I had to protect him. I always like Morgan anyway (due to this reason), but when I got Frederick!Morgan..... it was the first time and... ;_;!! My Child! Not to mention he has my same hair color...)

Hottest: Vaike. He's a pretty funny dork but also very very hot... Doesn't help that the Warrior outfit looks NICE on him... if it weren't for those silly goat legs... he gives me the same feelings that RDBoyd and RDIke give... ARF ARF ARF. Cutest: GREGOR!! Well, he's probably my favorite male character... but man his personality is really adorable and tender... ;_; It helps that the guys around him all look so young: he stands out a lot over them, and makes him more unique. Plus, many say he's ugly and old, but I think he's quite handsome. Handsomest: Laurent. His looks are truly beautiful... one of my favorite designs in the game; they perfectly match his smart and studious personality. His (Japanese) voice is also so low toned and peaceful... ooh Laurent is just too beautiful to look at. At the moment I cannot think of other Fire Emblem characters that give me the same feeling. It's a type of stunning beauty that goes well with brains (UNLIKE THE ONE FROM HIS FATHER). I still find hot/cute/handsome/whateva some other guys from the game (like Brady, Owain, Inigo etc), but I think Awakening misses a really important type of cute male character... someone like Lowen would fit well along the others hmhmhmm... also I wouldn't mind if it had more manly guys or some guys which are between bara and bishie. Frederick seems to be the type but after marrying him he gave me the biggest disappointment of my life. Too bad... he's hot ;_;

I think I agree with everything you say! Probably my main problem with him, other than having everything given to him for granted, is that he just goes... "Lol war ended I'm going back to my country see you suckas"... but that's probably just bad writing, IMO. Also Emmeryn' suicide... nobody cares about it anymore after chapter 9, and it all becomes even more meaningless when you find out she is still alive (and she can't have supports with her siblings either!), and Chrom doesn't really seem to change nor develop after it: he just jumps the avatar loving bandwagon like the rest of the cast... :( His continued preaching on "WE CAN CHANGE TEH DESTINY" also gets very boring and repetitive. I want the story to tell me more things, not just 2 morals repeated over and over. As a unit, I'm sure I can make him decent but I have to grind both him and his wife ATM ;; He has always very low defense and resistance and that's a no-no. So yeah, I don't like Chrom, sorry... But I like Inigo as his child and Olivia as his wife, if that's a plus: not because I disrespect Olivia but because I think he can be a very nice and protective husband to her, and also seeing Chrom with a male child who wants to be a dancer... it makes me laugh evilly, seeing how close-minded he seems, hohoho.

Hi! You can call me CrimeanRoyalKnight and I really like Fire Emblem, but I haven't played many of them. By myself I only played Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance and Awakening, and I watched my sister play Blazing Sword and Radiant Dawn. I also played the early chapters of FE12 and Genealogy of the Holy War, and my sister is intrugued by Thracia 776. As you can see she is the better player, but I still have a lot of fun discussing about this series! My favorite games are PoR and RD due to their world and story, but I also enjoy their gameplay a lot(even if PoR is baby easy), and my most favorite character is probably Kieran, even if there are still many wonderful characters in the whole series. My favorite classes are mages and mercenaries, but I also like paladins and pegasus knights. I hope I can have fun around here =) Peace out!
