  1. Got that one done. The Forrest scares me though D: . Maybe tomorrow, if you don't have it by then.
  2. I really like Lily's Poise. It's a really nice utility skill on a lot of the Conquest maps. It also just looks so...tranquil (for whatever that's worth).
  3. Don't worry, I'm not losing any sleep over it or anything. Just wanted to let you know about that block in the road. In any case, I took a day off to polish off those pesky statues, but Warding Blow Jakob is now up. If you like coming up from the right side (for w/e reason), watch out for Midori, she's on Hold, but does actually have stuff in her inventory.
  4. I've got that up now. Looking to have that one ready soon (edit: done). If nobody else gets Warding Blow Jakob up by tomorrow I can probably do that one then. I don't have a Wyvern Talent file lying around though, so can't do Mozu with Lunge .
  5. Put that up. Castle Code is 01682-08530-92196-33393 .
  6. I'm a little confused, are you looking for classes/skill sets for Lunatic Conquest or for postgame (such as it is) and/or online battle? I'm guessing you're not opposed to Logbook-ing skills since your Avatar's running Hoshidan Unity. For storyline Lunatic Conquest...if you're not opposed to making a few swaps on that Optimal Pairs list you're using, Azura!Percy can take Rally Speed & Rally Strength pass downs, and Offspring Seal to Wyvern Lord for Rally Defense. Alternatively, you can pass something else from Azura and Heart Seal him to Falcon Knight for Rally Speed if you don't want to lose your Songstress for a few battles, which isn't too bad given that Offspring Sealing him to Wyvern Lord gives him a Lance rank. That's basically be a somewhat less grindy Rallybot than the Laslow solution discussed above, trading Fancy Footwork for Rally Defense...though you can always just use Laslow too. I'm currently at the tail end of a Conquest run using Master Ninja Camilla!Soleil. A word of caution: it's a LOT of time/grinding to get it going, and won't fully come online until very late, but I'm loving the results. Her set is Replicate (passed from Laslow), Trample (passed from Camilla), Sol, Shurikenbreaker, Shurikenfaire (yeah, that's 4 Lv. 15 skills...she's not finished until Lv. 19, but with her Str she can get by without Shurikenfaire until then). The worst part about that is the Replicate pass down; Trample's not too bad since Camilla levels easily. You could conceivably get it done after Ch. 20 with the right conditions. Again - I'd really only recommend it if you've got a ton of time on your hands. My personal playstyle is really grindy =P . For online battling...I guess Nohrian Trust, Master Ninja Midori + Skillbot Kaze (Master Ninja or Swordmaster)? I think that one's probably common knowledge though. Unfortunately I don't have personal experience with the Conquest units in online battle to say more.
  7. Just wanted to drop a thank you for that tip about the staves. I went into the run blind and my team (bar a few characters) were not super-well equipped to handle the chapter. The reminder about the existence of Entrap & Freeze really made the difference.
  8. Lucina!Morgan starts as a Tactician, and Lucina can only pass Aether...so since there are no Seconds Morgan wouldn't be able to get Galeforce. Of course the assumption there is that no-Galeforce is a problem.
  9. My 3DS log reads 461 hours & 54 Minutes. I was actually introduced to the game by a relative, and have an indeterminate number of minutes logged on his 3DS (nowhere close to what I have on mine though).
  10. For Ch 24, I usually cover the forts on maybe the left third of the map, and let the rest of the reinforcements come. On the upper half, one of the forts is right on the edge of the danger zone of a 2-range Wyvern Lord that will continuously spawn until a couple turns after the Boss starts moving, I stick a Bow or Wind Magic User there. All I remember about the lower half is that it'll spawn a Paladin and a Wyvern Lord...usually I have some sort of Galeforce combination there to deal with them.
  11. Having used "Gale-rilla Warfare" to bring -Def Avatars through a few Lunatic+ Runs, I'd say you'll probably find it effective. My last one was done with Apotheosis in mind, and used Sumia, Cordelia, Lucina, Lucina!Morgan, Chrom!Cynthia, and Stahl!Severa during the main game. I've never managed a strict no-grind, but from what I've read you can handle it a lot better than I can (patience is my main issue ). I've been trying to get around to a -Def no-grind myself...but I wanted to see if I could work out the issues in a more aggressive Ch 5 clear first (see? Patience issues).
  12. Interesting...I think I usually end up giving Chrom that guy anyway, to grab him a level by the end of the map.
  13. Are you on regular Lunatic or Lunatic+? You should be ok with -Res for the former and quite possibly on the latter as well...sorta depends on how you play it. I'd definitely say you'll want to give the Avatar more Prologue kills for Lunatic+. As far as ch 2 goes...I usually start something like this (regardless of mode) and go from there. [spoiler=Possible Ch 2 Start] Virion => Sully. Avatar => Chrom. Stahl => Lissa. Vaike => Frederick. Have Chrom move under the mountain and switch, attacking the Barbarian on the mountain with Thunder. Have Sully move behind Avatar and separate Virion out onto the mountain. Have Frederick go above the Barbarian on the mountain and attack with the Silver Lance. Risky move, this, but it has a good payout next Player Phase. Move Lissa under Avatar, switch, transfer, switch, separate down. It ends up looking like... https://d3esbfg30x759i.cloudfront.net/ss/zlCfzSkUsDk8gOz7T4 (wasn't letting me post the screenshot as an image). I doubt this is the best way to do it, but works for me in many cases.
  14. Trained Micaiah a little too much in Pt. 1's earlier chapters ... made Ch. 9 a super-fun Black-Knight-Fest, but sorta hurt when 3-6 rolled around =P . Also made quite a mess of the support system...didn't use it nearly as effectively as I could have...but eh, first playthrough.
  15. Congratulations! Would love to try that out sometime, still not sure I feel ready for it =P . In the meantime, what are some common (Vanilla) Lunatic Challenge runs?
  16. Regarding Kellam - you can have Chrom pair up with him after talking. Normally what I do is have Chrom recruit & pair up, then move Kellam over to Frederick, trade the Javelin to him, transfer Kellam, and have Frederick go into the range of the Archers & Soldier for poking. That should leave you able to clean up on the next turn. If Frederick can't double the archers with a Chrom pair up you might also consider pairing Chrom with him for extra Dual Strike poke. If you really need the Iron Lance, both Kellam and Sumia come with one.
  17. Polished off my 2nd Lunatic+ run (and first proper run ever with a Female Avatar)...just for the laughs I decided to tally up all the turns as the campaign details rolled...ended up being 666. I kid you not. On a totally unrelated note, Avatar had something like 776 battles and 468 wins, almost double what my Male Avatar had in his Lunatic+ run...guess that's what Galeforce does to you...
  18. That should be pretty solid for vanilla Lunatic...good luck on your run!
  19. Lunatic+/CLA (Male Avatar) Lunatic+/CLA (Female Avatar - in progress) Empty At the moment I'm pretty much using the Empty slot to backup the Female Avatar run, when I'm about to do something incredibly dumb that could backfire on me (e.g. summoning Risen at Breakneck Pass...got to get them Fliers leveled ).
  20. Going into Lunatic+ Chapter 3 with an inordinately RNG blessed +Mag/-Def Avatar: [spoiler=Picture] The Def procs were pretty nice, but the real kicker was the Event Tile Celica's Gale in Ch. 1...Chapter 2 got wrecked.
  21. From my experience (granted I've only had one experience, with another in progress), past the early game Lunatic+ isn't so bad. Backlines can laugh off Aegis+/Pavise+ when the Dual Strike rates start getting more reliable, Bows and/or Galeforce negate Counter (and Vantage+, if they've got a 1-range weapon), and good positioning stops Pass. Nothing you can do about Hawkeye, but honestly in the later game those guys are probably going to hit you anyway. My trouble is with the early game, because I suffer much from this: Particularly no deaths, and no Outrealm Gate (not mentioned, but it is an artificial restriction...though I'm fine with doing skirmishes). I also have some troubles with throwing together new strategies on the fly in the early game (I find it easier later, when you have more fun stuff to work with). But it's still doable, just about. tl;dr I hate the early game, but I personally find that to be the worst part, and it's not so bad that I think Lunatic+ as a concept is unbearable.
  22. I laughed way harder than I should have at that picture. Anyways...I think one of my favorites would have to be when Chrom says "Finally! And good riddance!" at the end of Chapter 2. Not because it's clever or anything, but because it's so......dang..........accurate.
  23. Aaaaaand DONE! Lunatic+ was an enormous pain, and I'm quite happy to be done with it. Special thanks to Interceptor, your guide really helped me out (particularly with Prologue, Ch. 3, and Paralogue 2). 2 Observations I had about Lunatic+: a) -Def in this mode is not something I'm keen on working with again. b) Galerilla Warfare OP.
  24. I know it works, but I've never seen a FeMU do it, thus my question.
