  1. Great auks or dodos. I have a thing for cute flightless birds that are too stupid for their own good.
  2. I'm a stupid person who manages to pass as intelligent.
  3. I personally find her to be oversexualized. IMO, a character can be sexy without being super sexualized, and Camille comes across as really sexualized to me :/ Especially because her clothes are so impractical for her being a Wyvern Knight. Even though her attire is about as skimpy as, let's say Tharja or Aversa, she's still a heavily armored unit unlike both of them. Fanservice is nice, but this kind should be reserved for dancers or squishy mages, full armor can also be sexy (Titania <3) Also, the size of her boobs combined with the lack of restriction is a big no-no for me, I get pangs of sympathy pains just by looking at it. Someone give that poor girl a sports bra.
  4. I remember reading about that drought in California, it sounded really bad :c Wasn't there a lot of forest fires involved? We have had snow two times this winter so far, on the 25th of December (Christmas Snow!) and a few days ago. However if was only a few inches, and both times it melted away after a day or so. So, we've had a bit of snow this year, but not much compared to what we're used to. It rained today. Rain in winter always makes me sad :c Snow is awesome, how can you not like snow? I mean, you can throw it at people and slide a bunch of it under their coats and rub it in their faces, what's not to love? It's also white and pretty and super fluffy if you're more into that kind of thing~
  5. I have to admit, I'm actually a bit envious- we haven't any proper snowfall in Denmark this year :c Aw man, that really sucks :c In Denmark, snow day offs are mainly regarded as something that happens in american movies, mainly because we are so used to the snow that we don't freak out over a few centimetres of white goo, and the climate is so relatively mild that freak snowfalls like this are practically non-existent. Also, we're Nords The only time I've ever gotten a day off because of snow was during my year on a boarding school. There had been heavy snowfall during Saturday and Sunday, and the roads had been closed, so all of the kids who went home for the weekend could not get back Sunday, and instead had to take a bus Monday morning. We weekend-dwellers had approx half a day off before the other kids arrived at lunchtime, and lessons started right after that.
  6. I used this guide religiously. It gave Wendy and Nino 9/10, and that's all you need to know about it.
  7. Ah, that's really nice. Do you know if it's all shops or just some of them? And if it's to Europe, too, or just the US?
  8. Wait, does taobao ship internationally? I haven't heard anything about it, and I'm pretty sure I'd notice something like this. Just how recent is it? If you want to use Taobao, you'll have to use a shopping service since you can only buy from it if you have a chinese bank account. (A shopping service is a compagny or a person who you tell what you want to buy, they buy it for you and ship it to you for a fee, usually ~10% of the price). I can personally recommend taobaospree, but I've also heard good things about YouBuy.If you consider using taobaospree, feel free to PM me any questions you have since ordering from them can be complicated of you dont know what do to :) Feel free to ignore what I said if Thor is right and taobao has begun shipping internationally
  9. Literally this. I saw a person defending this by saying this: quotation marks because this is copy-pasted from her blog "For me, coming out as kinky can be as simple as things like mentioning that I went to a bdsm munch (a.k.a. a coffeeshop meetup) the other day, or mentioning that I cant see a movie that weekend because I wanted to check out a lecture about the ethics of power exchange play or a workshop on how to make stable rope chest harnesses that can support a persons weight. And much of the time none of these are any more sexual than going to the local board game nights, or going to a lecture about making domestic partnerships work, or attending a knitting class." this is still really, really TMI, why can't she just say that she is busy?
  10. Still easier than Danish...I'm trying to learn Japanese by self study. I also really want to learn ice skating plus the art of not-procrastinating.
  11. Have you ever heard about mandles? It's like regular candles, but it's for MEN
  12. This reminds me of a picture set on tumblr which stated that "Coming out isn't always about sexuality! uWu!" While it had "I'm intersex!" and "I'm transgender!" as very valid examples, it also had "I'm kinky". Like stfu, nobody cares what goes on in your bedroom. (And if your fetish involves doing stuff outside your bedroom, you should try and find a balance between your right to have your kinks and other people's right not to be dragged into your kink)
  13. I see the dancer girl as some sort of priestess. Where she dances at the start could look like some kind of temple, and it kinda looks like she is manipulating the water. I'm hoping for her to be some kind of dancing water mage rather than an actual dancer. Anyways, she's pretty and I want to learn more about her.
  14. If my sewing skille wasn't horribad I would cosplay War Cleric!L'arachel and Elodie from Long Live the Queen.
  15. Go to Japan and powershop 'till I drop. Also: a computer that isn't absolute shit.
  16. Shampoo is shampoo is fucking shampoo. Even if it's pink with glitter and smells like a sugar rush. I've personally used my boyfriend's FOR MEN antiperspirant, and since it neither made me sprout beard or develop a barytone voice, I daresay it also goes the other way. gendered marketing is stupid
  17. Unless you are at the point where you are in danger because of your low weight, eating junk food for gaining weight is a bad idea because the high amount of sugar, salts and saturated fat can cause elevated cholesterol levels in people of all weights. Also, if you have a small appetite, junk food may fill you up so you don't have appetite for other kinds of healthy food. Keep in mind that this doesn't apply to healthy, caloric-dense food like nuts, fat fish, avocados and dried fruit, eat it to your hearts content. This article is means for parents with underweight kids, but I think it has a lot of useful advice for everybody trying to gain weight, and I can recommend taking a look at it :)
  18. Ah, I know that I most likely isn't skinnyfat, but I'm just scared of being it if that makes sense :/ I know that this is a stupid concern at my weight, but I'm just a highly neurotic person, and I tend to worry about the stupidest things... I know that you're trying to help, but honestly, this is dangerous advice. Telling people that their perception of their body size is correct is not a good idea, and can help foster all kinds of eating disorders. I'm not saying this to be passive-agressive in a ''if-I-get-anorexia-it's-your-fault''-way, I'm saying this because there might be sensitive people on this forum, there might be people who have or is trying to recover from anorexia, and a statement like yours is only reinforcing their negative thoughts. Hope you understand this was not meant as a personal attack :) Oh, I guess the word doesn't have the implication I thought it had. In Danish, we have a semi-medical term called ''tyndfedme'' (''thin obesity'') which is when a person have a healthy weight, and a healthy looking body, but a dangerous amount or distribution of body fat, and I thought ''skinnyfat'' was the literal translation of that. Whoops. As someone who always have had problems with eating too little, the best tip I can give you is to always make sure that you always make sure to have some food within your general vicinity. Take a small box with peanuts or almonds and raisins with you when you go out. Cut an orange or an apple into bite-sized pieces so you can eat it with a fork while using your computer. Eat constant, small meals instead of three large meals a day. Try to stay away from junk-food, unless you're seriously underweight gaining weight on white sugar and saturated fat is a bad idea.
  19. Don't you mean that LBM is your body weight minus your body fat ? What you wrote kinda implied that LBM is the mass of only your muscles, but a body isn't only fat and muscles, there are also skin and bones and intestines to be factored in.Also, a bit off topic, but do anyone know if it's possible to be underweight and skinny-fat? I am 165 cm and 47 kg, which gives me a BMI of 17.26, but I don't excercise (unless biking everywhere counts), and I'm really terrified that I might be unhealthy. On the other side, I really don't want to find out if I'm skinnyfat, because I'm too lazy and stressed out to work out, so I'll probably just end up eating less in an attempt to get the unhealthy fat away from my body :|
  20. I'd definitely choose to be a specialist. Sure, broad knowledge is cool, but I what I want to do is to find one little snippet of a discipline, and then just keep diving deeper and deeper into it, wringing out all of its secrets and hidden truths, and never hitting the bottom. Being a generalist could never be satisfying enough for me, since every time I learn something, I want to go one level deeper and learn more about it.
  21. Buy the most expensive, pimped out over-the-top lolita dress in existence, wear my new pimped up over-the-top lolita dress to zoo, get boyfriend to go with me to the zoo, abduct a penguin, hug said penguin not giving a shit that new, expensive dress gets dirty water all over it, get smashed in zoo, and spend the last moments of my life in my boyfriends arms on a hilltop with my new penguin friend in my lap, looking over all the animals. Simple minds, simple pleasures, eh?
  22. Yeah, that is also one of my main concerns. Denmark is not a good place for particle physics, the only jobs available for a particle physicist would be at a university or other higher education. The job opportunities for all kinds of organic/environmental chemistry, biotechnology, biology etc, and especially everything related to development of medicine are way better. There is a reason why the area around Greater Copenhagen/Southern Sweden is called ''Medicon Valley''.
  23. I am extremely sensitive to cold and my family's home has such a crappy heating system that I already now have to use two wooly blankets over my duvet at night. So yeah, unless it's midsummer and at least 20-25 degrees Celcius, you can bet that I'm wearing some kind of socks, even when I sleep. I consistently wear socks to bed. I don't care if it's 30 degrees and everything is melting, my feet will freeze if I'm not wearing socks :p
