And by redone I mean the whole 3DS Treatment, rebalancing, etc. This would be a great time to do it and for those who don't have an Ambassador 3DS, it would be a great way to introduce those who may have only played Awakening or Shadow Dragon (or FEif when it comes out) to one of the older titles in the series. Originally released on the Game Boy Advance in 2005 (In 2004 in Japan), it has a few things that were later used in Awakening and FEif. Among them a traversable map and Skirmishes (Awakening). Like FEif, Sacred Stones was prettymuch two games in one: After a certain point in the game, you will be forced to chose which royal of Renais to play the rest of the game as your main Lord. Depending on which you chose, you faced different foes and when you got certain characters was different. The clear difference being regardless of which Lord you chose as your main, you still got the other one permanently later on. Sacred Stones stands as the game that introduced branching promotion paths and introduced pre-promoted units: The Recruit Amelia (promotes to Cavelier or Knight), The Journeyman Ross (promotes to Fighter or Pirate) and The Pupil Ewan (promotes to Mage or Shaman). These reasons are why I think a Sacred Stones reboot is possible. That and both campaigns could fit on one 3DS game card even in 3D. What do you guys think?

They last the entire duration of a single battle and yes. If you don't have any, sometimes you'll see 'em for sale from wandering guest Avatars or Wandering Merchants.

Got it on 3rd attempt. For the 3rd attempt I brought in two Guest Avatars with LB, Pavise, Aegis, Armsthrift and GF (Female) and Ingis (Male). The Male was a Sniper and the female was a Swordmaster. Never went to the Throne the entire map. After the first round I just juggled them around the fort in the bottom-left corner. The Sniper + Towering Bow came in handy for the Enemy Snipers with Longbows. While the enemies were busy trying to kill mine My AvatarxChrom took them out one by one. I lost my Guest Avatars in Round 5 (200,000G to recruit them both again ^_^) though my AvatarxChrom's HP never went below 50. Still had two unused Forged Brave Lances left over though. I'd say if you have Guest Avatars or Avatars from your other save files USE THEM! The money needed to recruit them again is trivial compared to losing a permanent unit. Plus their stats are superior to the Spotpass Teams. By all that's holy...I'm just glad I only had to do that once xD

...Katarina will forever be out of my reach. I avoided it like the plague for 3 weeks because I was afraid of it. Then I spent the last two weeks grinding Skills for the Guest Avatars I picked up from Anime Boston 2013 (All the ones I recruited had both Pavise and Aegis and GF for the female ones) filling out spells, stats and Limit Breakers as well as getting Forging Weaps/Tomes for the team. I went in prepared to lose units (my main file is Classic so....yeah) and made it to the 5th round with Chrom, MU x Miriel, Lucina x Brady and Donnel x Cordelia remaining (The X between names is to let you know they were married as well as paired together). Everyone else died left and right starting with the 2nd round. This is the Route I took during this attempt and no it wasn't my first attempt. It's just the furthest I got: 1st Round: 5 Generals + 2 War Monks 2nd Round: Fliers + Berserkers 3rd Round: Snipers + Bow Knights (lost most of my team here) 4th Round: Fliers 5th Round: The Pain Train Right now I'm just trying to figure out how to last through the 5th round or at the very least, have most of my units past the 3rd to better my chances in the 5th. I didn't bring in any Rally Bots or use Skil Gaius' Confect/etc. either. I wasn't expecting to get as far as I did to be honest. Donny (Hero Class) prettymuch carried Rounds 3 and 4 by himself. I also discovered prettymuch anything on the Throne = untouchable and parked Chrom there after Sumia went down xD All I can say is DAMN. And Apotheosis/The Strongest One's Name is easily the most ruthless and unforgiving challenge in the history of Fire Emblem. I doubt any other can top it in terms of the sheer brutality.

...Damn. *Finally puts down his 3DS after 5 hours of failed TSON attempts* I never expected my A-Team to get ripped apart on just the first round of Generals and War Clerics/Monks. I bought every DLC up to now and so far 90% of my Army has all attainable Class Skills as well as Iote's Shield, Limit Breaker, and etc. I used Tiki Tears on the attack team and yet it did nothing to stop the slaughter. Paviise+Aegis was a very good idea but having Lethality and Counter nulled more or less forces you to triple the Self-Heals (Lifetaker + Renewal or Sol + Weap that grants health per attack) just to deal with the +Skills the enemies have. ...To those who fondly remember Very Hard Radiant Dawn and Hector HM thinking "never again": Buy this DLC. You wion't regret it. To those who have never played the game on Lunatic +:

I've sent BPD a couple tweets requesting the actual numbers by law enforcement agency of everyone involved in what was probably the largest manhunt in U.S. History, Even though the FBI and later the U.S. Military was involved in the manhunt, major props to federal officials and Watertown PD for allowing the BPD to take point when it all started Thursday at midnight. The feds could've easily just said "Fuck it we'll handle it" or just called in the Marines but they didn't. Major props for allowing the BPD to lead the manhunt =D

I got the idea from playing Awakening as to how they can explain it story-wise: Chrom was the first in Fire Emblem history to become aware of the Outrealm Gate, an interdimensional portal to other worlds. After Chrom meets heroes from other Fire Emblem Worlds Old Man Hubba comes up with an idea to settle once and for all which world has the greatest heroes in history: A Tournament! Heroes from Fire Emblem 1 through 13 decide to answer the call for reasons known only to them as well as try thier blade or magic against a hero from another world. Even Ylisse's legendary Tactician is getting in on the action ^_^ My thinking is the action would be as small as 1 on 1 or as many as 5 on 5. The venues would be various places from each continent. As for the roster, it would easily be over 150 plus more if they allow players to import rosters from other games ala Pokemon-Style. Mounted units would be allowed with their mounts and to be fair Clerics/Priests are promoted to an advanced equivilant. Archers/Snipers would also have no range restriction. A few personal faves of mine: Binding Blade/Sealed Sword Percival Zephiel (As his unique King Class) Lillina Roy Blazing Sword Karel Hector Guy Raven Sacred Stones Valter (arguably Fire Emblem's equivalent of The Joker) Vigarde (Undead) Marisa (obvious) Joshua (how DARE they not include him in Awakening's Spotpass Team?!) Path of Radiance Ashnard (Unmounted. Personally would've preferred Awakening Ashnard with a sword) Black Knight Zelgius Lethe Tibarn Radiant Dawn Pelleas Michiah Sephrain (Using the name Lehran) Edward Awakening Walhart (Must have Wrecking Ball along for the ride XD) My Unit or Morgan (As Grand Tactician. Player selects Gender) Lucina Chrom I'll leave the rest to your imagination. I will say that a conquest mode should be thrown in, allowing players to relive battles from various worlds within the Outworld Gate. One light storyline could be The Grimleal seek to revive Grima in another world and it's up to the player to chase after them and ensure history stays the course.

Anyways, if Nintendo decided to release Holy War (4), Thracia 776 (5) and Sealed Sword (6) in the US how should they do it? If they were to do it I see them having four options based on how Nintendo's ported the first four Super Mario Titles (1,2,3 and Lost Levels) as well as The Game & Watch Gallery on the Game Boy/Game Boy Color: Straight to Cart/eShop Port: Just releases the games together on a cart but a few months prior on eShop. No aesthetic changes aside from localization. Estimated price being $30 or if Nintendo decides to increase the profit and sell them separately on eShop, $10 for 4 and 5 each and $20 for 6. Ambassador Past & Present: A Little something for those with Ambassador accounts to feel special about: 3D remakes of 4-6 are released as a bundle on eShop/Cart but Ambassador members can buy the original ports from the e-Shop for next to nothing several months before everyone else gets them at regular price. Going with the pricing listed above that would be $5 for the bundle, $3 for 4 and 5 each and $5 for 6. Modern Game + Unlockable Classic Version: The most likely route if I had to guess. 4-6 get Modernized ala Shadow Dragon with a bit of Awakening mixed in. Aftfer fulfilling certain preconditions the classic versions (just localization) are unlocked. Players with Fire Emblem Awakening can also import their Avatars in the Modern Versions of all three games and be able to export artwork to Nintendo 3DS Camera. Estimated price being $40 all three games bundled together. Super Deluxe Version: If they really wanted to say "Sorry for the wait", LOL. You get All three games together Classic and Modern. Included with the NA version is all the DLC Japan got (or would get) plus an unlockable Fire Emblem 7 (Classic) thrown in for free along with the option of exporting Art to Nintendo 3DS Camera. ...And all four versions would be billingual English/Japanese.A working title for the bundled games I'm thinknig is Fire Emblem Chroincles or Fire Emblem Legends. References to The Original FE (Marth) and maybe RD/Tellius would be thrown in as easter eggs. Since I'm on the subject of bundling Fire Emblems...oh nevermind xD

Personally I don't get the appeal with the XL Models (DS, DSI and 3DS) personally but that's just me. I'll need to know how much the bundle is before I go out and preorder it. I preordered Fire Emblem Awakening last week but if the bundle can be preordered and it's under $215 I will do that <3

...Right. The 2.0 is because I made a thread about doing this at Anime Boston 2013 earlier this year. back then I had no idea WTF I wanted to do but now I have a better idea. With the traffic news of Fire Emblem Awakening coming to the US will bring to the forums I'm hoping I can getsome advice filling in the stuff I might need help with. Ok so here's what I've got in mind for the panel: Planned time for the panel will be 30 minutes. Spend a few moments going over each main Fire Emblem Title. Mention appearances some Fire Emblem characters have made in other games (Super Smash Bros., etc.) Go over trademark mechanics from the Fire Emblem series (perma-death, What the Fire Emblem is in each game, etc.) That's prettymuch it. Just the basics. I could probabably easily extend it another 30 minutes by throwing in a test your knowledge test at the end but being honest my knowledge of the early games that never got an official US release excluding The Sealed Sword (FE6) is pretty limited. And I'd get called out on it XD Thoughts and tips welcome ^_^

Basically the theme of it is friendship is so powerful not even death stops it. I also wish to stress this came from a dream I just had and unless evidence is produced saying otherwise, assume it to be fiction. In the dream I just woke up I was at a hospital's children's ward visiting a little girl. This girl made international headlines not for herself but her room mate, who is her best friend. The thing is her best friend is dead. Not brain dead but actually dead. The surviving girl and her friend were involved in a boating accident and the one who survived couldn't swim. The one who died could swim and managed to pull her (the one who survived) to safety before she ran out of energy and drowned. Before she expired the girl who died said no matter what happens to her they'll be friends forever. Rescuers arrived a short time later but they were too late to save the girl who drowned. Crushed, the surviving girl refused to leave her friend (even though she herself knew and understood she was dead) and convinced paramedics to take her friend with her to the hospital. At the hospital the dead girl's death was confirmed. The surviving girl's family (who adopted both girls from another country) didn't have the heart to tell the surviving girl the dead girl's body was going to have to be taken away so they worked out a deal with the hospital: As long as the surviving girl was in the hospital she could stay with her dead friend. In addition, the family will pay for the dead girl's stay at the hospital. An undertaker and a makeup artist work on the dead girl's body to maintain a life-like appearance. Afterward they put her in the surviving girl's room. Unless you knew she was dead you'd think she was still alive and just sleeping. Even though she knows her friend is dead she's happy to share the room with her while "they" recover. In regards to age of the surviving girl I'd say between 8 and 13 or at the very least old enough to understand the finality of death. One could also argue this is just her way of coping with her friend's sacrifice. What I want to know is if anything even remotely similar to this has ever happened. Considering I just dreamed it, I doubt it actually happened so I'm hoping for a similar story.
