  1. ...PoR + RD being ported to the Switch makes more sense to me personally (HD remake). I more or less forced the idea but Guest Characters would only be done if it won't take away from the other characters (Awakening Trio in Fates) or it can be easily explained (Tiki in Awakening). ...Geneology + Thracia should so get a 3DS release though. They wouldn't have to commit as many resources compared to the Switch. Same with Blazing Sword + Binding Blade. Now's a damned good time to bring Mystery of the Emblem to the West as well.
  2. I am crossing my fingers until they break this gets announced at Nintendo Direct. Not just a port but a full blown remake. My eye is on the following games: - Binding Blade + Blazing Sword: Fates Style more or less but both games would be on the same cart. I think this has the highest chance of happening and personally, I actualy think they could fit both games on a single cart but can see one game being in-game DLC only ala Birthright/Conquest/Revelations. I'd title it Fire Emblem Bonds (Parent and Child, Friends, Comrades, etc.). As for guest characters, I could see some of the Child Characters from Awakening being used in Blazing Sword. Maybe four: Morgan (Female), Kjelle, Brady and Laurent could all work for the whole game. Lyn meets Morgan during her campaign. Morgan's trying to find her three friends, who she was separated from shortly after they arrived in Elibe. You get Laurent towards the end of Lyn's Campaign. You encounter Brady and Kjelle during Eliwood and Hector's Campaigns and later reunite with Morgan and Laurent. In Binding Blade it's four more: Morgan (Male), Noire, Gerome and Cynthia. You encounter Morgan early on, who is tracking a lead three of his friends. - Geneology of the Holy War + Thracia 776: Packaged as a single game, you get all three Campaigns in one. They were never released outside Japan but those who played Awakening are familiar with some of the characters. I'd title it Fire Emblem Chronicles (Three separate sagas in the same universe). They would also naturally release it in the U.S. As for Guest Characters, I could see most of the Child Characters from Fates being used in all three campaigns: Sigurd meets Siegbert (Cavalier, wields Siegfried) and Shiro (Myrmidon, wields Raijinto) early on, who were separated from their comrades shortly after they arrived in Thracia. You will later recruit Kiragi (Archer, wields Fujin Yumi), Forrest (Mage, wields Brynhildr), Asugi, Hisame, Percy and Nina in Sigurd's Campaign at the end of the campaign they meet the Kannas and send them on an important mission. In Leaf's Campaign you will encounter both Kannas, each wielding the Yato. They are looking for their fellow shape-shifting friends Velouria and Selkie as well as Shigure and Midori. At the end of the campaign the friends meet up with Shiro, Siegbert and the others. In Celice's Campaign Shiro and Siegbert learn more of their friends have been sighted in Thracia. Since there's so many of them the Fates kids decide to set up a garrison somewhere in preparation for their departure. Now that they have Sigure and the Kannas together, they can begin preparations to return to their own world. The Royals still want to be able to help the son of the man they befriended so you're given the choice of having the Nohr Kids + Female Kanna or the Hoshido Kids + Male Kanna join your forces. You will encounter the kids of the opposing nationality depending on your choice who will join your forces. If you change your mind, you can switch later. Whoever you would have missed you will have a second chance to recruit loward the end of Celice's campaign. - Fire Emblem + Mystery of the Emblem: Packaged as a single game like it was when it was originally released in Japan on the SNES (only in 3D now of course). I think IS and Nintendo would be willing to release this in the U.S. due to Marth's popularity alone (thanks to Super Smash Bros., Awakening and the DS Remake). It would be an obvious cash cow. I'd title it Fire Emblem Origins (Where it all began). As for Guest Characters they could use Ike, Lucina, Micaiah Ephraim and Eirika plus a few others from Tellius and Magvel. After the events of Awakening, Lucina used the Outrealm Gate to visit Tellius and Magvel where she met Ike, Micaiah and the Renais Twins. While she was learning more about their histories, she learned of another Outrealm Gate that led to Altea. Recruiting some of her new friends, she decides to visit the world she'd only read about in stories. Seth, Innes, L'Archel, Lute, Ewan and Marisa join the Renais Twins. Soren, Mist, Titania, Sothe, Edward, Sanaki and The Black Knight join Ike and Micaiah. All three games would probably come with some of the mechanics introduced since their time including Skills, Branching Promotions, Support Convos and possibly Pairing Up. DLC and Paralogues should also be expected. I don't think the games would need a map screen but there would probably be a base for planning between battles. If there is a MU they'd be a minor character. Would be pretty nice if they throw in bonuses for having Awakening or Fates Clear Data such as getting a copy of the Falchion or the Yato. Amiibo support wouldn't be too much of a stretch either. LOL. I thought about throwing in cameos from other games but I'll edit in how that could look per game later.
  3. Oh, of course. That's about the only thing I think both IS and Koei would shoot for anyway. They have alot of Fire Emblem games to pull characters from and render, after all. Starting with the most recent and going backward makes the most sense since unique 3D models exist for the cast of Fates, Awakening, PoR + RD and Marth + Roy. It'll be much faster for them to use the existing assets as a base for FE:W. Everyone else they'll have to make from scratch more or less. I've seen rumors in another thread the release window will be holiday 2017 (presumably in Japan) but first Quarter 2018 seems more realistic to me.
  4. Logic dictates a MASSIVE roster. It's just a question of which games will be represented aside from Fates, Awakening and Path of Radience + Radiant Dawn (all confirmed more or less). I think the finished product will have at least 50 chars with more added via DLC.
  5. ...Good question. FE 2 through 6 were never released outside Japan (FE1 came to the DS in 2007's Shadow Dragon, which made it to the U.S.). I think what will happen is the international release will go one of three ways: 1. Only known or famous chars from FE 2-6 are included such as Roy and Sigrun (Possibly) 2. Chars from FE 2-6 included but info about them is included in an in-game library (Hopefully) 3.Only Japan gets FE 2-6 chars, everyone else gets more chars from FE 7- 13 to compensate + Marth and Roy (Most likely) ...Of course there's also the liklihood the FE 2-6 cast will be DLC chars. Hopefully this is touched on next week ^_^
  6. Apologies. I left out someone else when I went back to add him in. LOL. I'll fill out my wish list with more chars from FE 6, 7, 8 and 9/10 later today. ...Fire Emblem's not the Legend of Zelda series. They had to struggle to justify some of the characters who made the cut LOL. Each Fire Emblem game has a massive roster. It is well within reason to expect at least 50 chars in the base game with more added via DLC. Maybe not everyone I listed from Fates (Corrin, Azura, and the Hoshido + Nohr Royals at least) and Awakening (Chrom, Robin, Lucina and Severa/Selena + Laslow/Inigo + Odin/Owain at least) but most of the major chars from the older games will definitely be in. I will be VERY surprised if Ike, Marth and Roy don't make it (LOL).
  7. I think a FE with world building or Sim City-like mechanics could be a main series game. This is what I thought Fates-Conquest, Awakening and Sacred Stones should have had. Nothing too complex to take away from staple mechanics mind you ^_^ I'm thinking stuff along the lines of this: A kingdom is invaded and completely destroyed. Several years later, remnants of those who fled return to rebuild the fallen kingdom. For that reason the game is titled Fire Emblem Empire. Game would would split into four acts: Act 1 is raising an army and getting an exconomy going. Act 2 is establishing boarders and opening trade routes with allies. Act 3 is taking the fight to the enemy that destroyed the kingdom. Act 4 is dealing with the true enemy of the world. Unlike Fates and Awakening, the MU isn't a major character. The MU is a citizen of the fallen kingdom born in exile. They are present for key moments but the canon cast are the main focus of the story. Players can also make more than one MU at a time per save file. The fallen kingdom starts off small but as it's built up things get more complex. In addition to the capital, later in the game you will establish towns and outposts in other kingdoms. Progression is a combination of linear and questing: Quests are done to help develop the kingdom, unlock extra content, recruit certain characters and earn additional resources. The linear progression is a mix of Awakening and Radiant Dawn's pacing. There would be a tech tree ala Civilization. Things start out basic but over time you'll be able to research more complex things. ...Head canon went a bit nuts there LOL. It would probably work in the 3DS though.
  8. ...This. Why are people giving such small lists? I will be very surprised if the base game has less than 50 playable characters (Warriors Orochi 3 had over 120 for reference). I can see character DLC packs adding 3-5 chars per pack to boot as well. [spoiler=My Wish List] Fates Corrin (Both versions) Xander Camilla Ryoma Hinoka Leo Takumi Elise Sakura Azura Kaze Kanna (both versions) Shigure Shiro Kiragi Siegbert Forrest Anna Unlockables: Jakob Felicia Saizo Kagero Kaden Keaton Arthur Effie Benny Charlotte Silas Hayato Nyx Rhajat Ignatius Percy Selkie Velouria DLC: Scarlet Flora Mozu Hinata Hisame Hana Subaki Caledori Sumeragi Mikoto Ophelia Soleil Awakening Robin (both versions) Chrom Lucina (Masked version included) Lissa Sumia Olivia Frederick Lon'qu Maribelle Gaius Panne Cordelia Gregor Nowl Tharja Henry Say'ri Morgan (both versions) Owain/Odin Inigo/Laslow Severa/Selena Nah Yarne Noire Cynthia Anna Unlockables: Miriel Laurent Flavia Basillio Tiki Validar Walhart DLC: Priam Gangrel Emmeryn Aversa Yen'fay Grima (Robin's mesh used but can summons dragon form True Musou Attack) Radiant Dawn Micaiah Sothe Sanaki Lehran Black Knight Path of Radiance Ike Mist Soren Titania Mia Elincia Mordicai Sethe Ranulf Ashnard Greil Sacred Stones Eirika Ephraim Lyon Blazing Sword Lyn Eliwood Hector Binding Blade Roy Lillina Fire Emblem (firsr one + all remakes) Marth Caeda Jeigan I'll do the rest over time but most of the roster will be made from the last few games.
  9. Let the speculation commence on who will be in the retail version =O I think it's safe to say all of the following are confirmed: Chrom Xander Ryoma Corrin Marth ...Who joins them? What's even better: NO ONE is off the table: Both Dynasty Warriors and the Warriors Orochi franchises as well as Hyrule Warriors featured ranged and magic-based characters. Based on that, we could realistically see Micaiah (Radiant Dawn), Lillina (Binding Blade) or Innes (Sacred Stones) in FE:W. Mounted Characters like Jill (Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn), Frederick (Awakening) or Hinoka (Fates) could also be done. The possabilities are ENDLESS! ...Blasphemy! You speak blaphemy! It's a sandbox game series where you're a human lawnmower, how do you not find that awesome?!
  10. ...I now have to buy this console. LOL. I think they'll use the same blueprint as the Warriors Orochi games: Massive cast from the franchises but original story to explain everyone working together. The Outrealms laid the groundwork for that ^_^
  11. Probably not directly. He likely used the Risen to do it. Chrom was dead by that point but it's possible Grima had Morgan do it. The rule wouldn't apply to Him/Her. Yeah, if Dragon Anankos was smart and likely knew what his human counterpart was up to, he would have used the same strategy. Fomortiis would've mopped the floor with both Nohr and Hoshido without breaking a sweat. Grima would've just slaughtered everyone. Ashera would've petrified the whole world. And so on. Nope, he traveled to another dimension (Ylisse). He basically stood outside the caslte with a sign saying "Heroes Wanted: Apply Within". Pretty sure the Awakening Trio referenced Nohr and Hoshido as being in another world so they at least heard of it before. Anankos was far weaker when he got the Awakening Trio than people give him credit for. He had just enough power to slightly change the Awakening Trio's appearances and temporarily giving them the power to use Dragon's Veins. He couldn't bring back everyone who died in the ruined Ylisse because of how much power that would've taken compared to what he could spare. I would assume teleportation magic used to cross dimensions uses a large amount of energy. This was probably why he told them the return trip would be 1-way. Methinks they went back to the Ylisse they saved personally.
  12. Hmm...I think the next Fire Emblem game--assuming it's released on the 3DS--will reference Fates in some way. The Awakening Trio's Chapters + Before Awakening establish Fates and Awakening both take place in the same timeline but different worlds. I think what may be best for the third game is assuming they bring back a MU for the next game, they wouldn't be a Lord (Corrin) or revealed to be connected to the Engame (Robin). Not saying they're not important at all, just they're not vital to the story's plot like Robin and Corrin were. Just make them a part of the army with supports but not at the top in terms of importance to the story's plot. Important but not THAT important. I feel like Fate's biggest flaw was how they chose to use Corrin (all 3 routes). Corrin's either a lapdog (Conquest), an avenger (Birthright) or an idealistic fool (Revelations). The sibling deaths in Birthright made no sense (One literally died for nothing as Corrin ended up fighting the other anyway). Corrin allowing the Cheve Massacre in Conquest made no sense (on that note, I agree doing it as Fem!Corrin was better). Don't even get me started on Corrin deciding to become the ruler of a dead kingdom in Revelations (Xander and Ryoma would've happily given hiim land anyway). I feel like at the end of the day, there were a crapton of missed opportunities. The lack of a reaction from ANYONE to Corrin's Dragon form after the first transformation...it always bothered me how "okay" everyone one is with that. "Oh look there goes Corrin transforming into a dragon." You'd think anyone seeing a prince randomly transform into a dragon would draw a much stronger emotional reaction. Then again, to explain that would mean to explain how exactly Azura knew what to do during that first encounter, which she can't because of the conveniently specific Vallite Curse. Not using Lillith in Revelations was a missed opportunity given her true relationship to Corrin and all. She doesn't appear at all, which again was a missed opportunity. I'm still holding out hope we might actually see a Sacred Stones remake with a combination of mechanics from Fates and Awakening. Saving that for a separate thread, though.
  13. My only question is have you had the opportunity to connect with Ms. Rena Strober (Azura's voice actress from Fire Emblem Fates)? She is also a member of the forums and recorded herself singing the game's title song Lost in Thoughts All Alone for the Serenes Forest Community. Here is the video of her singing: ...Indeed, and neither was SF ^_^ First Reina Strober and now MLP =O
  14. Folks seriously need to drop the whole "18+ = adult" in a Fire Emblem game. It's fantasy so adult is likely considered 16 or 17. Elise, like I said before has a childish personality. She's the youngest of her siblings so she can get away with it. Same with Sakura, who is shy and studders.
  15. His last post answers your question. If there is no news by the end of August, you can safely assume this hack has been abandoned ^_^
  16. It would work best with the Soul Calbur or DOA engines.Shapshifting chars other than Corrin fight in ther shifted form. Corrin fights in human form. Robin can switch between melee and ranged just like in SSB4. Inventing the concept is easy: Chrom and Corrin decide to summon heroes from other worlds to fight and settle once and for all which of them is the strongest.
  17. ...Leo explicitly states Elise is technically an adult. Presumably she's of child-bearing age so she's at least 16. Her personality makes it really hard to figure out exactly though X.X Her physical size is less of an "issue" here: Mozu is physically smaller than her but clearly more mature than she is. Eh...my theory actually suggests the opposite. Corrin's definitely more human than dragon. Azura and the Hoshidan Royals find out Corrin can turn into a Dragon at the same time Corrin does. I doubt even Mikoto thought it possible. She is half dragon but her human side is clearly dominant.
  18. To answer the rhetorical question, yes in most cases or rather I wouldn't have a problem with it. I don't see it happening though for obvious reasons. It would be...problematic especially for Garon to find out BR!FeCorrin is pregnant. While the whole insta-pregnancy + birth thing is assumed by everyone who's commented so far, I think it plays out in real time. The couple presumably spends the duration of the pregnancy in their child's deeprealm with help from Lilith. She woud be the most knowledgable on the subject so...yeah. My theory is with everyone except FeCorrin, Velouria and Selkie's mothers they keep fighting until their pregnancy makes it physically impossible for them. Then they go to their kid's assigned deeprealm for the remainder of the pregnancy. For FeCorrin, being half-dragon means extra precautions need to be made since she knows nothing about how her mixed blood will effect the pregnancy, let alone her unborn child. I chuckle at the idea of Ma!Kana being born in dragon form (LOL!) and Corrin freaking out or going "Aww, how cute <3" Same with Kaden and Keaton's mates. The mixed blood of the unborn child would make the pregnancy more than a bit complicated. The cravings alone would be something else (LOL). The mother will likely spend the pregnancy in their kids' deeprealm as a precaution. With Fe!Kana's mother the human side would be dominant so she'd probably be born in human form. ...Anyways this is a Fire Emnlem game not The Sims. They can afford to not go into the little details. LOL.

  20. I have two 3DS Consoles as well as a Physical copy of Conquest and Birthright (all 3 campagns on both carts). I have 2 Bond units in each game as well. Took a long time to get them though. You have to visit the same castle several days in a row apparently.
  21. ...Folks really do underestimate Grima's time travel factor in the fight. Awakening's plot involving Grima and Lucina isn't all that different from the Future Trunks/Cell/Android Saga from Dragonball Z. Remember: At the time Awakening begins, Lucina's world had already been destroyed. Lucina goes back in time hoping to head off Chrom meeting Robin but she arrives a few days too late to keep them from meeting. She's basically there to make sure history doesn't repeat itself and succeeds...to a degree. Grima!Robin followed Lucina into the past to merge with his past self but for reasons we don't know, the merge attempt fails. The shock of the attempt itself wiped Robin's memories. At that point, Grima!Robin and the present Robin could almost be considered separate beings for much of the game. Thanks to the link between the two, Grima always knew what Robin was doing and as is demonstated later, could take control of his present self remotely. Grima just needed to make sure everything that happened in Lucina's timeline happened again in the present. Validar was killed but since he was needed to ensure the ressurection of Grima's body, Grima!Robin rezzed him like it was nothing. Not necro-rez but brought him back to life (Hence Robin and Chrom's "LOL Wait didn't we kill you 3 years ago??"). Grima!Robin could exist at the same time as Robin because Grima!Robin was the vessel from Lucina's world. He'd already been rezzed with his soul. He was hoping to rez a second version of himself in the past just to stick it to Lucina XD ...Relative to this debate, Grima easily wins. You have a Dragon God who can only really be killed by himself or his vessel, Robin. The Falchion will only seal him for 1000 years. Remember: Naga bluntly says she can't kill Grima because their powers are equal in strength. The only way he can be killed is by his own hand. Anankos just a really powerful dragon in comparison. Both of them technically. The Dragon had a daughter who would betray him while the Human would have a son/daughter who would one day kill him. Anankos reminds me a bit of Naraku from Inuyasha: Even though he split himself off twice--once when he cast out his soul, the other when he possessed Garon--his original form didn't suffer a severe drop in power. After getting knocked around a bit in the Vallite Throne room, he summons Garon and takes back the power he gave him ("Hmm...I can't believe forgot I have him this much of my power."). Even then he only had 2/3 of his full power since his soul died 3 years before the start of Fates. Grima, on the other hand would be at full power. A Grima that can easily travel back in time to before Anankos went mad and kill him, preventing Corrin from even being born XD On a related note: Thanks to Hidden Truths, we know Dragonkin/Manakete could slowly go crazy. I feel bad for Nah on the one hand but on the other, why is Tiki fine?
  22. Not trying to upstage you but... Ir's a high-quality copy I found. This is the full verson from the Credits. I just finished my second playthrough of Conquest (Epic Feels Q.Q) and found the title of the song ;) On a related note: Anyone have the Lyrics Sheet to go with this vid? I'm gonna cover it and would like the lyrics with which to practice ^_^
  23. This thread is all kinds of awesome. I am definitely gonna make a char or two as well ^_^ ...This is a bit off topic but is there an RP Forum?
  24. Uh...am I the only person who also does same-sex supports? And Female Corrin/Robin Supports? Of the supports I've seen so far, Saizo x Hinoka made zero sense to me. Their getting married felt totally random given the narrative up to that point: "We suspect you of being a spy which we knew all along you weren't. Let's get married!" It's like they didn't even try to make their pairing interesting. I mean on the one hand, they probably didn't interact much since Saizo is always shadowing Ryoma when he's not on a mission. Even if Hinoka said she wanted to get to know her brother's shadow better would have been more interesting >.>; On Solei: Everyone remembers the fallout from the JP Male!Corrin x Solei supports. As everyone knows, Solei is a lesbian or at least it's implied. Anyway for those who don't know, in the JP version of Corrin x Solei's Support it's implied Corrin drugs Solei to make her straight and get her to fall in love with her. That's the big reveal in their S Support: He uses an herb he mentions he found in their C Support to make a drug he secretly uses on her. The drug makes Solei see him as a woman so she will open up to him. By S rank she's basically been made straight as Corrin planned. ...Obviously this narrative wouldn't have been well received in America so it was changed. I mean both the Dating Drug and "curing Gay". Nintendo changed it completely though I haven't seen the localized version of their support yet.
