  1. I'm trying to be nice tho okay I'm just saying it could be worse... way worse.
  2. Nobody can guess my main! This may have something to do with the fact that I've never said it anywhere on this site.
  3. Spoken like a true weeb. No, though, trust me. I know weeaboos. For the most part, from what I've seen, the people on this site aren't weeaboos. Statistical geeks? Probably. Weebs, not really.
  4. From New York, can confirm that NYC is too far away from everything.
  5. >Dolphin Shoals >Above Music Park
  6. Well, they're both raptors. So that counts for something, I guess.
  7. I think I saw on Amazon that someone (not sure if it's Nintendo or not) is making GameCube controllers with the Smash Bros insignia on them. There's also a Wii U peripheral that allows 4 GC controllers to be plugged in. But by the sound of your question you probably already knew that. I guess I'll leave it in for people who don't know.
  8. Hell, the version we do have still sounds pretty dirty.
  9. Agreed. As someone who loves Shadow Dragon and has played through it many times, I fully recognize and admit that the gameplay is poorly designed. New combat mechanics + old map design and enemy placement = ya done goof'd.
  10. Speaking on the subject of FE12, that game also canonizes nobody under Marth's command dying during the War of Shadows, seeing as every unit from FE11 is back for FE12. I've actually never played FE3, though, so it may have already been like that. If a unit died in Book 1 of FE3, would they come back in Book 2?
  11. Kah-ee-dah is how I used to pronounce it... I guess I'll just show myself out, then. Oh god I just realized how much of a necro this is. modsimsorry
  12. I remember seeing an FE12 hack a while back. I don't remember if it was on here, or somewhere else. It wasn't anything too special, it just allowed the my unit character to start as any class in the game, including stuff not normally available, like Soldier, Manakete, Ballistician (I think?), Lord, etc. If there's anyone who knows what hack I'm talking about, I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!
  13. I'd probably want the Barbarian, Cavalier, and Wyvern Rider lines.
  14. When you see someone do something outrageous in real life and try to figure out what their critical chance must have been. Guilty as charged.
  15. I had this discussion with a friend the other day. The problem is, Microsoft lacks a lot of exclusives to populate the roster. There's Halo, Gears of War, Fable, Banjo-Kazooie (sadly), and... I can't think of any more off-hand.
  16. Dancer is arguably her best final class, if only for it's unique utility. If you're looking for her to see combat, maybe assassin? I wouldn't recommend having her be a combat unit, though.
  17. Mostly everyone gets back into their regular classes by the end of the game except my avatar, who usually ends up being a Warrior or Griffon Knight.
  18. And a lot of Japanese developers are looking at mobile as a viable option.
  19. THIS DAY SHALL LIVE ON FOR AGES TO COME IN THE ANNALS OF SERENES FOREST HISTORY
  20. Okay, adding them to the list. Sorry, the Tellius series is the two FE games I'm least familiar with, so if anyone catches any more nobles I missed from those games, or anyone not from those games, for that matter.
  21. Since most of the doubt on who "might be" not a noble comes from varying knightly traditions from various historical cultures, would it be easier to just throw out any of the characters who are of uncertain nobility? If you're grinding and/or using legacy characters, hard mode is definitely doable without Frederick, Sully, Kjelle, etc. Edit: Speaking of legacy characters, I kind of sort of put together a list of the bonus team characters who are of noble birth. Edit Part 2: Re-edited: I did some research as to Linde's case for noble status. The title of pontifex comes from Ancient Rome. The pontifices were high-ranking priests, and the Pontifex Maximus was the highest and rankingest of them all. Ancient Roman social hierarchy has two major groups, determined by family wealth and status: the plebeians (the lower class, drawing parallels with commoners) and the patricians (the upper class, drawing parallels with Warriors, the best class in Fire Emblem nobility). The pontifices belonged to the patrician class, mostly. And that's the problem with this thought process: while there is a high ratio of patrician pontifices to plebeian ones, a plebeian joining the ranks of pontifices is not entirely unheard of, especially in later Roman periods, because these two social classes were not as rigidly defined as those found in Fire Emblem and the feudal Western Europe it takes heavy inspiration from. So, I guess Linde's nobility is a toss-up.
