They Seriously Couldn't Have Come Up With a Better Title for FE7?

To be fair it is reasonable to give it a name such as Blazing Blade to make up for the lack of the title the game used to be called. Like no joke as a kid, I thought because the title was just called "Fire Emblem" I literally thought the game was like some origin story to the series.

It's always been called Blazing Blade in Japan though. It wasn't given a new title at any point, it's real title was just exposed in English, so to speak.

I don't know, though. Durandal's legendary status is that you need an S-rank weapon of each type, while the Binding Blade has real plot-relevance and an in-universe history of being used to spare the evil dragon both with Roy and Hartmut.
