Ever since Secret of Mana (brother wanted to be the boy, sis wanted to be the girl, so I was stuck with the sprite) I've been a fan of magic users. Magic is perfect for hitting weak points for massive damage. I love hitting weak points for massive damage! Staves are very useful as well. Healing is extremely useful, of course, but warp, unlock, hammerne etc add a new layer of strategy. Bows are second for me. I like archery myself (never got around to buying my own bow, though), so it would be weird if I didn't like bow and arrows. Archers are a bit like mages. They kill stuff with ease, but you need to protect them. Unless they're named Shinon or Rolf... I wish Fire Emblem games included more specialized bows. Arrows designed to take down armored knights exist in real life, so why not in the Fire Emblem universe? It would make archers a lot more useful...
