Deity
My ps2 is being a bitch, or a game is, I dunno which. PS2 dont wanna read a soccer game I enjoy playing. Anyway, here is the deal. The game is not in bad condition, its not even scratched. And the Ps2's lens is not dirty, since it reads all other games greatly. But when I insert WE9, it says disc cannot be read. I was playing it just three days ago, but then, at halftime, the tv screen just went dark on me, and I was like.."What in the nine hells?" I waited to see what would happen, nothing did, except the weird noise the ps2 makes when the disc spins. After waiting like four minutes to see if the game would start, I turned off the ps2 and tried again. Nothing. Ever since, it just tells me the disc cannot be read. Help me, before I smash both pieces of trash down to pieces.

Deity
Old PS2 is old? Tis one of the newer ones, the thinner ones. I gave the game a good clean with a cd cleaner...hopefully when I test it later on, it will work.
Starwolf_UK
I'm guessing it is something to do with the PS2 laser reaching the end of its time and blue discs being harder to read than regular ones... Thats why they stopped using blue discs a few years back :S

Anyway, no luck. I am fed up with this game that wont work. I'll just stack it in my closet where I keep those games that I do not play. Trust me, its crowded in there. ^^
Tamara
Ps2's were not design to read blue disks, I think. PS2 CD's are blue, PS2 DVD's are silver. Most older PS2's don't like CD's. It has something to do with the strength of the laser.
