TheEnd
Ilyana leaves after part 1 and joins a superior team in part 3. That's a gross understatement.
CT075
Not so much as superior. More like WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY BETTER. Besides Nolan/Edward/Jill, all of the DB's units take a lot of work to get up to speed. Even Sothe and Micaiah have trouble near Part 4. Loki Laufeyson
Fiora, do what you want with the game and the way you play it...i say use the characters you feel will do well, (just stay away from Lyre) and just get a feel for the flow and how it plays out...Making your own judgements is better than someone saying "hey this character is shit and this one is better!" Judge for yourself and have fun with it

Judge for yourself and have fun with it Come to think of it, this is probably the best advice in the whole thread. Even if there really is that "best way to play", that doesn't mean it's the best way. I wouldn't have had half as much fun if all I did was follow everyone else's opinion on how to play, which of my favourites to ignore because they're supposedly worthless. It's not just a game, it's a single-player game; doesn't that mean the ultimate objective should be fun? What he said.
Nightmare
Aran's also good but his lack of a personality makes me not want to use him. His expression and black armour are enough to make me use him every playthrough, though. :D And yeah, I'd go with what Florina said. Play the game whatever way you want. Experimenting with different units is what makes this game so fun.
Zanarkin
Use illyana steal the bolting with the technique on a pinned topic, Use BEXP wisely, Use Haar level ike wisely get the beast foe in 1-4 get coins use por transfer if you have some Don't pay much attention to Dawn Brigade too much after 3-11 Pay lots of attention to micaiah Use Boss abuse and i think that's all i can do also use skills wisely and take of the nihil off from nolan and Callil

Unless you neglect Ike.

Bananas
Besides, no matter how much you screw things up, endgame will still be easy.Unless you neglect Ike. If you neglect Ike there is something horribly wrong with you. Unless you're doing a special playthrough where you use him as little as possible :D
