General Spoon
I pick Alan. He's got a Silver Lance and a Killer Lance. Samson has a Silver Axe and a...vulnery. So, yeah. Edited March 2, 2009 by Navarre
Dr. Tarrasque
Neither, I let the enemy thief raid the villages and proceed through Xane's cell instead.
Lord Raven
I warp Marth from Xane to Arran (for the Silver/Killer Lances he comes with). No ranks means I really don't care as much as I should.
Rodykitty
I usually get Samson. Better unit statistically.
Ϲharlie
I recruited Arran just because I never actually recruited him before. Samson is the better character, but neither of them are very good in this game. =\
Celice
I usually just leave Chainy until the end of the chapter >.> I usually take Samson, as Alan is available in Monshou's Book II for use. Though after a couple playthroughs, I really don't care anymore D:
Decus
I chose Samson just so I can have another person reclass to a Hero. >_>
Dr. Tarrasque
I chose Samson just so I can have another person reclass to a Hero. >_> That's not necessary. If you let the villages get destroyed or don't recruit Samson at all, you're still getting that Hero/Merc slot in the next chapter. senka
Both would been chosen and killed.:P but usually I will choose the one nearby than killed.
Ϲharlie
Why even bother to recruit them if all you're going to do is kill them off? Seems like a waste of time. =\
Celice
Death summary in end-game text. Yeah. That's it.
Dr. Tarrasque
Death summary in end-game text.Yeah. That's it. That and their equipment I suppose...
Martelé
I only played this game once but I picked Arran because he comes with better weapons. I was skipping all the gaidens, though. Next time I will recruit neither of them, I guess.
Florete
I ended up with Arran. I just visited one and didn't care who I got.
Dat Nick
samson, unlike somebody else, isn't a total failt at life since he can actually double endgame.
Lifeshroom
The only time I've ever gotten either of them I picked Samson, I'd rather have the weapons from Arran since I wouldn't use either of them anyways.
Kintenbo
Samson, free Silver Axe for Barst is nice.
Robert
Both are atrocious compared to your other paladins/heros. I'd still save them for their weapons, it boils down to which weapons you want.
Emperor Hardin
Alan, he's cooler and I like his personality. The Silver lance and Silver sword are an added bonus.
riariadne
Samson comes with Silver axe not sword. I picked samson cause... I wanted to?
Ercdouken
I picked Samson since he comes with a Silver Axe. I'll probably go for Alan next time since he comes with a silver lance and killer lance.
senka
Free Silver Axe+gadien=Samson must die
