The Wind Waker, The Thousand Year Door, Dragon Quest VIII PS2, etc all count among my favorite games graphically despite not using realistic styles (and I find TTYD nicer looking than Color Splash, I despise the white outlines and cardboard textures on the side of landscapes the latter added). I threw a Red Shell near the end of the race and it trailed directly behind them for a while (20 seconds) then disappeared. I'm suspecting it's lag, since they picked up an item and nothing showed up, then also fell into a pit but the video shows them... not actually falling into the pit.
