Knows that I don't really see them as useful when most people would restart if they lost a unit, for one, and second, if they didn't, most of the units they lost wouldn't be ones they were using anyway. And that's ignoring the part where Aum comes in at the second to last chapter, and Valkyrie's only usable at the main castle (and what's more, only two pairings allow you to keep it in the second generation), further decreasing their already low practicality.
