(Personally, I find it kinda hard to believe myself, but the thing is, Marth's reliance on tippers hurts him relative to Lucina because Ultimate is faster paced than Smash 4 was. As a result, keeping opponents at a specific distance tends to be difficult. Also, let's face it; hitting a constantly moving opponent with just the tip is not easy. Thus, Marth's KO ability suffers compared to Lucina's. This lack of consistency is probably the biggest thing hurting Marth. But the other stuff I mentioned doesn't help).
