Is it "Na adjective + に + なる" for turning the adjective into an adverb-like form but actually performing that action? That doesn't mean Toriyama is involved with the design, and let's hope it stays that way. It's literally "to become ____" - become clean, become enamored, etc. A na adjective isn't an action, it's a state; as far I know, falling in love isn't quite an action in Japanese - it's a change in your state of mind. Because you see, verbs like naru require that adverb use - Kirei ni naru, tsuyoku naru, yome ni naru, etc. /pat '-' Yeah... but it's Maths!!! Oh well, I can't really love my entire subject, can I. I am starting to fall in love with some lecturers though. He was away for a moment. And the answer is, yes he is.
