Acacia Sgt
Well, I'll guess I'll take your word for it people then, hahaha. It's just that I'm very used to reading carefully and then reread like 3-4 times even if I know what's what since... well, I'm paranoid about it. lol
Integrity
Hey if somebody wants to help ME. Sketch the solid whose volume is given by the iterated integral: 0∫1 0∫1 (4-x-2y) dx dy[/size] I think it's a rectangular prism that starts at the origin and gets cut off by the plane (4-x-2y), but I'm not really sure derp. something like this red zone i think

Dunno about you guys but in all the schools I've been, word problems in math were the most dreaded because of how common it is for people to make mistakes or simply be unsure of how to approach the problem due to misreading something or just not fully grasping what you're being asked. Roxas
Evaluate ∫∫∫E x2 dv where E is the solid that lies within the cylinder x2 + y2 = 1, above the plane z = 0 and below the cone z2 = 4x2 + 4y2 Is it π/5?

Also: Evaluate ∫∫∫E x2 dv where E is the solid that lies within the cylinder x2 + y2 = 1, above the plane z = 0 and below the cone z2 = 4x2 + 4y2 Love you guys. <3 Seriously though, im actually trying to figure this thing out. Like what it is and everything....*squints* This is an image but ive never learned these particular symbols. D: That happy little musical note looking job and the squiggly line. That's me Yeah me too. I'm willing to bet it's that kind of thing that makes you think you are bad at math. Your intuition needs to be ignored before you can actually get the rules down. Theres that and the way i learn things and how my brain works. I was always a little better at word problems than like, actual problems. Images and words, i was always really decent at. (Why i excelled in language/history/etc moreso than maths.) Edited February 26, 2014 by Loki Laufeyson
