Awakening was announced ahead of the 2011 TGS, so it's been over two years since the last FE announcement. And if Nintendo plans on releasing the new FE on its 25th anniversary, they'd probably have to make the announcement sometime soon. Hopefully, this time, it won't take 10-12 months to localize the game, and both Japan and the West will get the game in 2015. If it doesn't, then... well...
