Maybe it's because higher will reduces incoming damage and that's what you saw? Ah, I know. Like in A... I guess so. Maybe Mazinger's damage reduction is that good because of it's base armor stat. Fucking hell man, chapter 10 is such bullshit. Worth a try, though. Speaking of skill activations, Groudon is bugged. Hundreds of times it could have activated its skill, yet not once did it do so. (Grinding Ampharos' stage, weeee) Donphan was activating the same skill a month or so ago. Wonder if today's update fixed it, haven't tried Groudon yet today. Macross Plus stuff, then that badass cinematic of the party storming through Dakar to get to the Macross, then the talk with Shu, and then the second part of the stage itself.
