So I'm using Ayra as bait, equipped with the Wing Clipper and supported with Leadership and Charisma. They didn't even see her coming. In fact, it worked so well that I decided to do it a second time. Not as troublesome as I thought it'd be. Sigurd goes solo toward Phinora while Fury starts taking down the mages. They then both take care of the sleep staff users. Bridget kills Vaha. And on turn 23, the castle is captured. Bridget is benched there. Last time I can do this. Fury gets the Def Sword. Ayra the Silver Sword XL and Alec the Hero Sword. The army crosses the desert. Fury finishes what only she could do. Sigurd reaches the bottom of the map... ...At the same time, Adan just arrives at Phinora... Again, Sigurd charges alone. Leptor does likewise, and is subsequently betrayed by Aida. The healer is at the front lines. That is so very tempting. So Sigurd goes for the kill and retreats. This hit and run tactic is somehow working well. Some movements also occur along the cliffs. All my cavaliers attack at range and immediately retreat away from harm. Sigurd then engages Leptor twice and manages to defeat him. On turn 43, he reaches Velthomer castle. And the rest is history.
