(It has been a while since I played this so I forgot how many others you can bring.) Catnip Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 This won't be very helpful, as I don't know my way around this game as well as I do others, but Luna is almost a necessary, so, unless you REALLY like Athos, Canas would be an excellent decision. I'd also go with Pent over Serra, because 7 defense isn't helpful at all by Endgame. Rebecca should take Louise's place if you want an archer, just look at the stats and that's obvious. Catnip Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 If Marcus is close to an S in axes, I'd bring him definitely, because then he'll be able to use Rex Hasta and Basilikos. If not, remember that Hawkeye has a decent defensive lead and is garunteed one of the strongest weapons in the game. Both are, or almost, at their last level and as good as they're going to get, so just look at the stats and take whoever will help more. (Once again, I'm not very helpful...) Hero Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 You should bring Kent, Sain, Pent, Jaffar, Hawkeye, Serra and Guy. The first four you suggested yourself. Hawkeye over Marcus because he has a defensive lead and because you've already got two paladins. Serra for the extra healing (I'm assuming that because you didn't include Prissy she's not even promoted). Guy because with a killing edge or wo dao he'll probably have more offensive potential at this point than any of the others still available, unless you're playing on hard mode. As for stat boosters, give them to Eliwood! He has some pretty bad stats. Lyn's also in a fix, but Eliwood's worse. Reserve a speedwing for Hawkeye, though, his speed is terrible! As for strategy, just be very conservative. It will probably take at least one or two tries to beat this chapter with your team. Not to be rude, it took me a couple tries myself the first time. Junkhead Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 My mistake, he was just so underleveled I didn't see that, like most of his lords with low stats, especially LYNDIS who will be doubled by Lloyd. Crysta Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 (edited) My recent team -- Lords (everyone but Hector was underleveled though) Athos (durr) Kent 20/20 (supported w/Sain - +Boots and Talisman) Sain 20/18 (supported w/Kent) Raven 20/6 (supported w/Lucius) Lucius 20/19 (supported w/Raven - +Body Ring and Talisman so he could reach his cap) Pent 20/18 (supported w/Erk, equipped with staves) Erk 20/16 (supported w/Pent, mine got RAPED in Mag though, so he was primarily there for healing) Oswin 20/6 (just made sure my lords didn't get raped) Nils (pimped with Set's Litany) If I brought anyone else I don't remember them. Finished in about 7 turns, I think. I still had to restart two times because I got criticaled a few times, though. Redthir Jerdisheim Posted January 14, 2010 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Rebecca looks good apart from her Strength. Defence isn't a problem since she's a ranged unit. Kent looks better than Sain in this playthrough. Raven is Raven. End of story. Guy looks very good as well, definitely someone I'd recommend. Jaffar's bases are immense. I'm not keen on Serra, so I'll say Pent. Canas is the potential best unit in the game, especially with a Luna critical. He killed Nergal and the Fire Dragon. I take it you didn't use Rath, Oswin, Bartre or Heath. Because those are good units for the endgame. Hawkeye is a very good unit, especially since I don't see any other axe users on the list.
