Kanami
I seriously doubt that Tessa and Kelas (definitely Kelas) would agree to Trevor and Amari being hooked up. I suppose Francis could be hooked up but judging from how Helen only arrived with one horse, the cart is likely to only cater for one horse, and not be very big. Hmm, guess I was able to sway one person, though not in the way I wanted :/
Psych
Oh I meant, those without horses pile in the cart, those with, ride along side.
Snike
Esphyr hasn't noticed the sword yet, has she....
Phoenix
Snowy hinted that Esphyr left to find Eric and take the sword back. You could retcon it and say that she already got it back. She was unaccounted for for some time, and we did do a minor timeskip with the next chapter ... roughly five minutes.
Balcerzak
"But this time of year there are some nasty storms atop the peaks and trying to cross them is ill-advised." Did we cross peaks before? I was going to post questioning this, and whether this is a different mesh patch (there were 3 students that got... turned, right?) I don't want Tessa to be a total airhead though, so while she'd be confused about general directions and talk of southern routes, crossing mountains is something she'd remember. (Trying to figure out a reasonable way to get the cart to come. Breaking into fresh new territory would do that... perhaps. As opposed to simple backtracking, which really would seem to make the cart irrelevant.)
Snike
He hinted that, but nothing came of it, as this was his next thing: Esphyr didn't know what to do. Rather, now with the others gone their merry ways or having been conscriped into making bacon, she had no plans at all once again. "I wonder if those pies are still out there." she asked herself before heading outside to see if the vendor had moved on.
-Cynthia-
I don't remember us crossing anything that wasn't simple terrain. I also wondered (and had Morgan express) why we couldn't just backtrack. Apparently going through the swamp is faster (it has roads) and the cart helps us do this somehow.
Balcerzak
Fair. Well, I posted a thing. It may or may not work at all. Mesh rumors were just random rumors after all, who knows what's up, really. How did the headmaster know where we were going? I'm blaming Ixion for this one. Convenient excuse is convenient. Except Tessa really had nothing to do with him, so I can't say as such. Edited June 12, 2010 by Balcerzak
Phoenix
We all know this is a trap. We're meant to fall for it, so we should. Rather than trying to in-character our way out of this, why not help Snowy retcon this? @ Ixion He didn't find out about the mesh until after leaving the headmaster's side(not even sure if he actually was told or just figured it out on his own). And yes, Horus is still following the group everywhere they go <.< >.> Edited June 12, 2010 by Phoenix
Snike
Which newcomer, Snowy?
Kanami
I'd say it's safe to assume that it's a different Mesh patch. Since you'd think that swamp, mountains and all these other things would have been mentioned at some stage. And if it's the same Mesh, then we need to retcon everything that's happened since Chapter 1 ended. (Which is obviously stupid) So it has to be a second one :/
Phoenix
Of course it's the second one, didn't you guys thrash the first one? What? Did it roll itself up and move into the mountains? Can they do that?
Snowy_One
It's better to outright mention the sword than anything else. Edit: The headmaster didn't hire. Helenos is trying to lure them into a trap. And Psychout's character. Edited June 12, 2010 by Snowy_One

I would have to have Morgan act OOC for her to just jump in some random cart.

Which is why she and Irina are going to get tied up if this continues :P What I meant by fall for it, is either get Snowy to call the trap botched(if we can't retcon it), or help him place it better. Phoenix
Morgan's storming off, so I guess the solution is group split. Nice try. Even if Irina fails, Damian has a potentially extending lance of some sort :/
Snowy_One
You are aware that having Morgan storm off in front of Helenos is virtually asking for her to take your tome, right?

Phoenix
Ahhh ... lack of context strikes again. I didn't know Helenos would rape us for our CWs if we didn't fall for the trap.
Psych
Why do I get the feeling Cynthia's become the Devil's Advocate? What's the decision on the cart?
Snowy_One
I don't desire to explain things I already explained. Helenos wants the weapons. The problem is, she's currently so powerful that if she were to try and take them, she risks killing someone and losing their weapon. She's leading them into the swamp in the hope that they will be drained enough for her to take them with ease. Morgan on her own, however, would be easy pickings. Just a few meshworks, some tentacle porn of Morgan, and sever and BANG! Weapon. And Esphyr is currently talking to Cess.
Snike
Out of context question: Was it intentional that there was no Light magic CW?
